Chapter 9 - Chapter 9

Aurora's eyes locked onto Damien's, and she felt a surge of anger and fear. She knew that she had to protect herself and Bryson from Damien's evil plans.

As she stood there, she felt a strange sensation building up inside her. It was like a spark of electricity was growing in power, waiting to be unleashed. And then, suddenly, it happened. Aurora's body began to glow with a soft, white light. The light grew in intensity, illuminating the dark alleyway and sending Damien stumbling backward. Bryson's eyes widened in amazement as he stared at Aurora. "What's happening to you?" he asked, his voice full of wonder.

Aurora's eyes locked onto Bryson's, and she smiled. "I'm not sure, but it's really weird," she said. "I think I'm becoming what I was meant to be.", "what do you mean" Bryson's face was scribbled with questions, "Just watch"

As she spoke, the light surrounding her body grew even brighter. It was like a miniature sun was exploding from her very being.

Damien stumbled backward, his eyes shielding his face from the intense light. "No," he growled. "This can't be happening. You're not supposed to have powers."

Just then as she was about to unleash a blast on Damien, she was consumed by the powers all of a sudden, it all went blackout in her mind, and she fell to the ground, heavily with a thud, Bryson was so surprised about the scenario, then he heard a voice behind him, "I warned about Aurora from a long time, she's not an ordinary," Scarlet said after controlling Aurora's mind then she vanished out of thin air, Damien was nowhere to be found there. Bryson's eyes widened in shock as he stared at Aurora. She was glowing with an intense, pulsing light, and her body was surrounded by a halo of energy before it gradually faded off. "Aurora, no!" Bryson shouted, trying to reach out to her. But it was too late.

Bryson rushed to her side, his heart racing with fear. "Aurora!" he shouted, shaking her gently. "Wake up, please!" But Aurora didn't respond. She was unconscious, her body still glowing with a faint, pulsing light. Bryson's eyes filled with tears as he stared at Aurora's limp form. He had never felt so helpless in his life. And then, just as he was about to give up hope, Aurora's eyes flickered open. She looked up at Bryson, her eyes unfocused and confused.

"Bryson?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Bryson's face lit up with relief as he smiled. "I'm here, Aurora," he said, taking her hand in his. "I'm not going anywhere." Aurora's eyes locked onto Bryson's, and she smiled weakly. "I...I think I lost control," she whispered.

Bryson's eyes filled with concern as he stared at Aurora. "What do you mean?" he asked. Aurora's eyes closed, and she took a deep breath. "I don't know," she said. "I just felt this...this energy building up inside me. And then I couldn't control it anymore." Bryson's face lit up with understanding as he stared at Aurora. "You're experiencing a power surge," he said. "It's a common phenomenon among witches who are still learning to control their powers."

Aurora's eyes opened, and she looked up at Bryson. "A power surge?" she repeated., "What do you mean by witches"

Bryson nodded. "Yes," he said. "It's like your body is trying to release all this built-up energy at once. But don't worry, it's not uncommon. We can work on controlling it together, he ignored her other question, purposely. "Aurora's face lit up with relief as she smiled. "Thank you, Bryson," she said. "I don't know what I would do without you. "Bryson's eyes filled with love as he stared at Aurora. "You'll never have to find out," he said. "I'll always be here for you, no matter what."

As they stood there, Bryson couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at Aurora's powers. He had never seen anything like it before. "Aurora, your powers are incredible," he said, his voice full of wonder. "I've never seen anyone with abilities like yours." Aurora smiled, looking a bit self-conscious. "I don't know how to control them yet," she said. "I'm still learning." Bryson's eyes locked onto hers, and he smiled. "I know someone who is vividly capable of helping you", he said. "who may that be, Bryson", "Elijah, my younger brother", she couldn't wrap her head around the scenario.

Now Bryson will introduce his brother to her, as her master.

"We'll figure it out together. "As they stood there, Bryson couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and protectiveness towards Aurora. He knew that he would do anything to keep her safe, to help her master her powers, even if he failed the last time, they were together.

And as they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, He knew that he would love her forever, no matter what dangers or challenges lay ahead.

But as they stood there, basking in the warmth of their love, a faint whisper echoed through the air. "Aurora...Aurora..."

Aurora's eyes snapped open, and she looked up at Bryson with a confused expression. "What was that?" she asked.

Bryson's eyes narrowed, and he looked around, trying to locate the source of the whisper. But there was no one in sight. "I don't know," he said finally. "But I think we should get out of here. Now. "Something's coming for you", he whispered. Aurora's eyes locked onto his, and she nodded. "Okay," she said. "Let's go." And with that, they turned and ran, disappearing into the night, as the whisper echoed through the air once more. "Aurora...Aurora..."
