Aurora's mind was reeling as she walked home from the park. She couldn't believe what she had just seen. Bryson's eyes had changed, and he had seemed all of a sudden...different. She still couldn't shake the feeling that something was off as she walked. She felt like she was living in a dream world, where nothing made sense. When she got home, she went straight to her room and locked the door. She needed some time to think, She still couldn't shake the feeling that something was off as she walked to process everything that had happened. But as she sat on her bed, she had an uncertain feeling that she was being watched. She looked around her room, but there was no one there. Suddenly, she heard a knock at the door. It was a soft, hesitant knock, and Aurora knew it was Bryson. She got up and opened the door, and Bryson stood there, looking at her intensely."Aurora, can I come in?" he asked, his voice low. As Bryson entered her room, Aurora felt a shiver run down her spine and a weird emanating dark energy she wasn't sure of. She didn't know what would happen next, but she knew that her life would change forever. Bryson closed the door behind him and turned to face Aurora. His eyes seemed to bore into her soul, and Aurora felt like she was drowning in their depths. "Aurora, I have something to tell you," he said, his voice low and serious. "Something that will change everything."Aurora's heart was racing with anticipation. What was Bryson going to tell her?And then, just as he was about to speak, Aurora's phone rang. It was a loud, shrill sound that broke the dark spell that had been cast over the room. Aurora hesitated for a moment, and then she picked up the phone. "Hello?" she said, her voice tentative. But as she listened to the voice on the other end of the line, her expression changed from curiosity to shock," she had no idea who it was from"."Bryson, it's for you," she said, her voice trembling. Bryson's eyes narrowed, and he took the phone from Aurora. "Hello?" he said, his voice low and cautious. As he listened to the voice on the other end of the line, his expression changed from calm to concern. "What is it?" Aurora asked, her voice barely above a whisper.Bryson's eyes locked onto hers, and he spoke in a low, urgent tone. "It's Damien. And He's coming for us."Aurora's heart skipped a beat as she processed Bryson's words. Who was Damien, and what does he mean by us?Later that night, Aurora couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. She kept thinking about Bryson's words, and the mysterious Damien who was coming for them. She decided to do some research, to try and find out more about Damien and what he wanted. She sat down at her desk, opened her laptop, and started typing away.As she scrolled through the search results, she stumbled upon a website that caught her eye. It was a forum for people who claimed to have encountered supernatural creatures. Aurora's heart was racing as she read through the posts. Some of the stories were crazy, but others seemed eerily familiar. And then, she saw it. A post from someone who claimed to have met Damien. The post was old, but it sent shivers down Aurora's spine."Damien seems like someone who's not meant to be trusted," the post read. "He's a monster, a creature of the night. He'll stop at nothing to get what he wants."Aurora felt a chill run down her spine as she read the words. Who was Damien? And what did he want from her and Bryson? As Aurora read the post about Damien, she couldn't shake off the feeling that she was in grave danger. She decided to confront Bryson about Damien and the mysterious post. She went downstairs to the living room, where Bryson was sitting on the couch, staring at his phone. He looked up as she approached him. "Aurora, what's wrong?" he asked, noticing the look of concern on her face."I found something online, and it's about Damien," she said, showing him the post about Damien "Who is he, Bryson? And what does he have to do with me or you anyways?" Bryson's expression turned serious, and he took a deep breath before speaking."Damien is...complicated," he said. "He's an old friend, but also a rival. He's been trying to get to me for years, and now he's coming for us."Aurora's eyes widened in fear. "What does he want from us?" she asked.Bryson hesitated before answering. "He wants to use me to get to my brother," he said. "Elijah is...special. He has a gift that Damien wants to exploit."Aurora's mind was racing with questions. Who was Damien, and what was his gift? Just then, the doorbell rang. Bryson got up to answer it, and Aurora followed him. Bryson's eyes locked onto hers, and he spoke in a low, urgent tone. "It's him. It's Damien." Aurora's heart was racing with fear. What was Damien going to do?Bryson took her hand and pulled her towards the back door. "We need to get out of here," he said. "Now. "Aurora didn't hesitate. She followed Bryson out of the house and into the thick mid-night.As they ran, Aurora could feel preying eyes watching her. She knew that Damien was out there, waiting for them, somewhere. But she also knew that she wasn't alone. She had Bryson by her side, and together they could face whatever dangers lay ahead. As they turned a corner, Aurora saw a figure standing in the shadows. He was tall and imposing, with eyes that glowed like embers in the dark, she abruptly held back and stopped in her tracks, and signaled Bryson."Damien," Bryson whispered, his voice barely audible.Aurora's heart skipped a beat as she realized that they were face to face with the creature that had been haunting them. As they stood there, frozen in fear, Damien took a step closer to them. His eyes seemed to bore into their souls, and Aurora could feel a chill run down her spine."So, Bryson," Damien said, his voice low and menacing. "I see you're still hanging out with the mortal crowd. "Bryson's eyes flashed with anger, but he didn't back down. "What do you want, Damien?" he growled. Damien smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Oh, I think you know quite what I want," he said. "I want the one thing that's been eluding me for centuries. I want the power of the ancient ones." Aurora's eyes widened in confusion. What was Damien talking about? But before she could ask any questions, Bryson spoke up. "You'll never get it, Aurora," he said, his voice firm. "I'll never let you have it. You wicked thing" Damien's smile grew wider. "We'll see about that," he said, his eyes glinting with malice. And with that, he reached out and grabbed Aurora, pulling her towards him. Bryson reacted quickly, grabbing Damien's arm and trying to pull him off Aurora. But Damien was too strong, and he easily tossed Bryson aside. As Aurora struggled to free herself from Damien's grasp, she saw Bryson get to his feet, his eyes blazing with fury, Bryson closed his eyes tight, opening his eyes forcedly, and he emanated energy of waves toward Damien, just then an immediate force repelled his illusion powers back to him as he flew to the bare ground again, "You're not going to hurt her," he growled, his voice low and menacing.Damien just laughed, his eyes glinting with amusement. "We'll see about that," he said, his voice dripping with malice. And with that, he vanished into thin air, taking Aurora with him.Bryson was left standing alone, his eyes scanning the space where Damien and Aurora had disappeared. He knew he had to act fast or risk losing Aurora forever. But where had Damien taken her? And how was he going to get her back?
