Aurora's eyes widened in shock as Caspian revealed the truth about Bryson. "What do you mean?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Caspian hesitated, as if unsure of how to proceed. "Bryson is...different," he said finally. "He's not like us. He has dark powers, Aurora. Powers that could put you in danger." Aurora's mind reeled as she tried to process this information. Bryson, the guy she had been spending all her time with, and just became her friend, was not who she thought he was. He was hiding something from her, something big or Caspian is the deal here? She was more confused than ever. " And why didn't you tell me sooner?" Aurora asked, feeling a mix of emotions: anger, fear, and confusion. Caspian shrugged. "I didn't want to scare you. I just wanted to protect you" he added, "and why" she questioned, but he ignored her question and continued. "But now that you're getting closer to the truth, I have to warn you." Aurora nodded, trying to make sense out of everything. She had so many questions to ask, but before she could ask any of them, Caspian's phone rang.
He answered it, listened for a moment, and then hung up. "I have to go," he said. "But promise me you'll be careful around Bryson. He's not what he seems." Aurora nodded, still feeling dazed. "I promise," she said. Caspian turned to leave, but before he did, he turned back to Aurora. "And one more thing," he said. "If anything happens to you, go to the old warehouse on 5th and Main. You'll find help there. Aurora nodded, committing the address to memory. And then Caspian was gone into a black void smoke into thin air, leaving her alone with more questions than answers.
Aurora stood there for a moment, trying to process everything she had just learned about Bryson from Caspian. She thought about Bryson and his secrets, and she wondered what other surprises lay in store for her. As she stood there, lost in thought, the sky around her began to darken. Clouds gathered, and a faint breeze rustled the leaves of the trees. Aurora shivered, feeling a sense of unease. She didn't like the way the atmosphere was changing. It felt like something was coming, something big, really big! Just as the breeze was getting quite intense and heavy, she felt someone out of the ordinary walking close to her, "who's there, who's that!" she called out the breeze entering her eyes she couldn't see well, just then she heard a voice, she was unfamiliar to but had a sense of familiarity in some way. A figure emerged from the shadows. It was a girl with long, curly red hair and piercing green eyes.
"Hello, Aurora," the girl said, her voice dripping with malice. "My name is Scarlet. And I've been waiting for you." Aurora's heart skipped a beat as she stared at Scarlet in shock. Who was this girl? And what did she want with Aurora? All of a sudden, she blacked out and landed heavily on the bare cold floor.
The next day, Aurora found herself sitting in class, staring blankly at the teacher as she droned on about math problems. Aurora's mind was elsewhere, still reeling from the revelation about Bryson. She glanced around the classroom, her eyes landing on Bryson, who was sitting ahead of her. He seemed completely normal, chatting with his friends and laughing like he didn't have a care in the world. But she still sensed something off. Aurora's life is already taking that turn she didn't plan on, she has something else installed, but now she has to change the game.
Aurora felt a pang of confusion and uncertainty. Was Caspian telling the truth? Was Bryson hiding something from her? As the teacher continued to drone on, Aurora found herself zoning out, her mind wandering back to the conversation she had with Caspian the previous night. She was so lost in thought that she didn't even notice when the teacher called on her to answer a question. "Aurora, can you solve this problem for us?" the teacher asked, holding up a piece of chalk. Aurora blinked, feeling a flush rise to her cheeks as she realized everyone was staring at her. "Uh, yeah," she stuttered. "I mean, I'll try." She fumbled with the math problem, finally managing to come up with an answer. The teacher nodded, seeming to accept her response, and Aurora breathed a sigh of relief. But as she glanced over at Bryson, she caught him staring at her, a curious expression on his face. Aurora felt a shiver run down her spine as she wondered what he was thinking. She can't conclude yet about Bryson without a piece of solid evidence, so she ignores his stare. Was he hiding something from her? And if so, what exactly? Aurora's mind was still reeling with questions as the bell rang, signaling the end of class. As she packed up her things and headed out of the classroom, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. She felt like she was walking on eggshells, waiting for something to happen.
And then, just as she was starting to feel like she was going to lose her mind, she saw Caspian waiting for her in the hallway. "Aurora, I need to talk to you," he said, his eyes serious. Aurora nodded, feeling a sense of trepidation. What did Caspian want to tell her now? As they walked out of the school building, Caspian led her to a quiet spot away from prying eyes. "Aurora, I know this is a lot to take in," he said. "But you need to be careful. Bryson is not what he seems. And some people will stop at nothing to keep his secret safe."
Aurora's eyes widened as she listened to Caspian's words. What did he mean? And who were these people who were trying to keep Bryson's secret safe, Is there more people to the story? Now she's drenched in confusion.
As the sun began to set, Bryson walked out of the school building, his eyes scanning the parking lot. He seemed to be looking for someone, but Aurora couldn't tell who as she watched closely from one end of the parking lot. As she watched, Bryson pulled out his phone and dialed a number. He waited for a moment, then spoke in a low tone.
"Yes, I understand," he said. "I'll take care of it."
Aurora's curiosity was piqued. Who was Bryson talking to? And what did he need to take care of? "I must get to the bottom of this all". As she watched, Bryson's expression turned serious, and he glanced around the parking lot nervously. Suddenly, he spotted Aurora watching him from a distance and quickly ended the call. He smiled and walked over to her. "Hey, what's up?" he asked, sounding casual and not anxious. Aurora raised an eyebrow. "Just wondering who you were talking to," she said. Bryson's smile faltered for a moment, and then he laughed. "Oh, that, just my mom," he said. "She's been bugging me all day about my grades.". Aurora wasn't convinced. She had a feeling that Bryson was hiding something from her. Aurora wasn't confident enough. She had a feeling that Bryson was hiding something from her, something inauspicious. And then, just as she was about to press him for more information, A girl in her early 17th walked majestically towards Bryson and Aurora, her gaze was terrifying as she looked at everybody available on the scene, she appeared out of nowhere. "OMG, she's back" some girls screamed in the background, Bryson turned around he set his gaze on something he never expected to see anytime soon. "Hi Bryson" "Hi Aurora", hope you all are happy to see me.
