Enel moved quickly, obeying Sakazuki's orders, engaging in guerrilla tactics against Lucky roux.
"Damn fat man! Take this—Thunderbird!"
Enel, floating in the air and darting around, suddenly stopped. He unleashed bolts of thunder and lightning at Lucky Roux, who was chasing him below. The electric energy transformed into fierce birds of prey, screeching as they flew straight for Roux.
Despite his size, Lucky Roux was quick on his feet. Within moments, he dodged the attack.
"Boy! Your aim is terrible!" Roux taunted, watching the attack miss.
Enel's face contorted with surprise, but then a smirk appeared. "Really? Take a look at your right hand!"
Roux glanced at his right hand, only to let out a pig-like grunt.
"Ah! My flesh!" He stared as the meat and bones of the stick in his right hand turned black.
"Kid, you've really pissed me off!" Lucky Roux roared.
Enel laughed loudly. "You can chase me later!"
Roux sighed as he looked at Enel, who vanished like a lightning strike. He wondered when Akainu found such a fast Thunder Fruit user.
It was proving difficult! Enel was now considered one of the fastest people in the world, rivaling even Kizaru. After extensive training, Enel's mastery of the Thunder Fruit made him faster than ever, able to cross from the Sabaody Islands to Marine Headquarters in mere seconds—an incredible speed.
Meanwhile, Kizaru observed Enel's antics, a small smile playing at his lips. "Young people really are full of energy~"
He was facing off against Beckman and yasopp, finding it tough to handle both opponents. Bullets from yasopp occasionally struck, tearing through his body. It was truly something to behold—Kizaru, with his usual relaxed demeanor, was evenly matched in this fight.
The battle raged on until evening of the following day. Both Kizaru and Enel felt the fatigue from hours of continuous combat. Their attention shifted to the center of the battlefield, where Sakazuki and the Red-Haired Pirates' captain stood. A brief pause followed their last clash. Sakazuki looked Shanks, whose anger had yet to subside.
Sakazuki pulled back his fist, now scarred with white sword marks, and straightened his collar. He glanced at the setting sun over the beach, exhaling a sigh of relief. Support should be arriving soon. Sakazuki had already informed Zephyr and the others about the situation on his way to the Sabaody Islands. They were expected to arrive shortly.
"Sakazuki! I'm here to help!" Zephyr's powerful voice called out from the shore.
It was true—mentioning Zephyr had brought him here.
The Red-Haired man lay down, cradling his sore right arm, breathing heavily. He eyed Zephyr, who approached using the Moonwalk, an ability Sakazuki had shown earlier. The Red-Haired man wondered if this former Marine general, now considered crippled, was still capable of fighting.
Marine forces were in short supply of high-level combatants, especially with Aokiji's departure, Sengoku and Garp's retirements, and only Sakazuki and Kizaru remaining as top fighters. It was clear why an invasion of the Sabaody Islands made sense.
Zephyr approached Sakazuki, his right arm clearly in view. Sakazuki smiled knowingly.
"Teacher Zephyr, you arrived just in time! Can you fight with me?"
Zephyr understood the implication. He raised his left arm, chuckled, and said, "You brat! Who do you think you're looking down on? Don't worry, it won't hold me back!"
"Then let's go together!"
With that, Sakazuki and Zephyr charged forward, heading straight for Shanks.
In the blink of an eye, Sakazuki appeared before Shanks , delivering a powerful Magma Fist. The searing heat made the sword in the Red-Haired man's hands vibrate, the metal starting to melt from the intense heat. The Red-Haired man felt the hilt grow unbearably hot and prepared to push Sakazuki's fist away.
But before he could react, Zephyr appeared to his left, his arm wrapped in powerful armed Haki. With a sharp motion, Zephyr landed a devastating punch on Shanks's head. The force made the Red-Haired man's eyes widen in shock. He staggered back, his shoulder stinging from the hit.
"How can he still have so much strength!?" the Red-Haired man thought, the pain in his shoulder throbbing.
It was already a struggle to hold his own against Sakazuki alone. Now, with Zephyr, who had been thought to be crippled, joining the fight, the odds shifted further.
Shanks managed to dodge most of Zephyr's subsequent punches, but Zephyr was relentless, using his left hand and legs to attack. Sakazuki continued to support Zephyr, looking for openings to strike with his Magma Punch.
Shanks's breathing grew ragged. He realized he needed to retreat; staying here was no longer an option.
The battle raged on until the moon illuminated the battlefield. Sakazuki's attacks became fiercer, his exhaustion unnoticed as he pushed forward.
Magma Meteor!
A flash of crimson light illuminated the night as Sakazuki's right fist, charged with all his energy, crashed into the Red-Haired man's chest. The punch landed with a devastating impact, breaking through his defenses and sending a spray of blood from his mouth.
The Red-Haired man staggered back, struggling to stay on his feet, his body failing under the scorching magma that seeped into his skin, muscles, and bones.
"Shanks!" cried his crew in unison, their voices filled with panic.
