Snowy woke up with piercing pain all over his body.
He tried to stand up, but the aching pain prevented him from doing so.
He spread his arms, with his back on the ground he looked at the rustling tree branches above him.
' What the hell happened?
Oh right, I fell from the sky. the last thing I remember is falling, but before that...
why can´t I remember.
Why was I falling and why can´t I remember what happened before that?
urgh.. there´s no point in thinking about that now, first of all..
Where the heck am I?'
After a while Snowy pushed his tired and aching body from the ground and slowly stood up.
Around him was only forest, a seemingly indistinguishable forest.
'In the first place, where the heck am I...
Urgh, I can´t even remember where I am, but at least I still remember my name.
more importantly though, I can´t even tell which way is out of this damn forest'
As Snowy looked around, his catlike ears twitched as he suddenly heard a rustling sound from a nearby bush, a moment later a small rabbit like creature jumped out of it.
It looked similar to a rabbit but also not quite the same, it was smaller and had a small pointy horn on it´s forehead.
It disappeared as fast as it appeared, vanishing into the depths of the forest.
Thinking about the weird creature he had just seen, he decided where to go.
'If I don´t know where´s where, then it doesn´t make a difference where I´m going... right?
wait, who am I even asking'
and so he decided to just wander in a random direction.
As he walked he wondered about various things.
What would he do when he met humans, how should he behave,
would they even speak the same language, as he thought about these things he suddenly notices something.
'Wait... Humans don´t usually have a tail, or ears like mine...
or do they? argh.. I can´t remember... maybe they do?'
After walking for a few hours he began to feel thirsty, and more importantly,
it was getting darker.
He was getting more agitated by the minute.
What would he do about his thirst, he also needed to find shelter, and if his journey would take multiple day´s he also needed means to get food.
As he worried about all these things he saw something and his eyes went wide.
some distance away, the never-ending forest seemed less dense, and beyond that.
He saw the glistering of water, flowing water.
'A river!'
Indeed, after getting closer he heard the sweet rushing of water.
Without thinking Snowy dashed to the small river and greedily drank from it, as if he had been nearly dying from thirst.
After satiating his hunger for water, Snowy looked at his reflexion in the water,
he looked pale, almost unhealthily pale but also a strange natural pale,
his hair was a pure white, slightly curly, just slightly and nearly up to his shoulders long.
Disregarding the pointy fluffy ears on his head he looked at his eyes,
which were a strange empty grey.
Suddenly he realized how stupid it had been to rush headstraight for the river without checking for dangers.
His expression turning grim, he hurriedly looked around.
Luckily there didn´t seem to be any weird creature that wanted to kill him,
in fact there wasn´t anything at all.
It was eerily quiet, except from the rushing water of the river there wasn´t any other sound.
During his few hour long journey to the river he sometimes heard distant sounds, but here, it was completely quiet, too quiet.
But he couldn´t figure out why it was so quiet, and he was quite tired, so he decided that he would sleep on a nearby tree near the river.
There was something unsettling about the quietness, but it wasn´t a guaranteed danger, while the dark depths of the forests were sure to harbour some malevolent beast.
As he gazed upon the stars, which were now clearly visible after the sun disappeared behind the horizon, Snowy's mind slowly drifted to the sweat embrace of sleep
