Hello! Here are the list of things I would like to say before the story begins (╯▽╰ )

- English is not my first language!

- The setting is on earth with real places. But imagine there's an additional country called Sinead and that is where the story takes place :>

- There will be a bunch of BL here (BoyxBoy), including the MC! (If you don't like that, please skip the story TT) But there are also straight couples! 

- There will be five books in the future! (If this story is loved, ofc :>). One book for each member of the Pentateuch! 

- Expect minimal grammatical errors TT

- The term "Misfit" with capital M = people with magic, powers, superhuman abilities while "Normal" with capital N = normal people!

I will also put a little legend of the story here! Please read it as to not get confused ^^

Many years ago, continuous stormy nights were troubling people as the gods watch on them. They saw people take shelter in their own houses while others have none. One god took pity and decided to gift them different abilities to protect themselves from such disasters. But in the process, he was caught and was immediately stopped for they might become too powerful and desire to become gods, creating a division amongst mortals. One with powers, called Misfit, one with none, called Normal.

The said god was then punished to look after these mortals. To make sure that their given ability will be used for good and for the harmony in the earth to remain balanced. With this, the mortals continued to live in peace, using the best of their ability to provide for themselves, and to help the Normals.

Ages passed and the civilization turned modern. The abilities of the Misfits have expanded and has evolved into something much stronger. But it wasn't always rainbows and cakes. One day, the gods decided to play a bet. They said that behind those helpful traits and bright smiles, there's still discrimination hidden. Secret tortures and killings are happening behind everything. The others disagreed. The others agreed. But there was no god more pissed than the one punished to look after the earthlings. To him, it was an insult, as if he's not doing his job properly. And so they agreed to put everything on a test.

A loud noise was heard across Sinead. It seems like it came from the oldest mountain in land. The Ashton Mountain. Although curious, most people didn't dare to check on it as it was dark, and it could be someone else's business. It was the next day when people came and see the said disaster.

Not long enough, it reached the news. There was nothing else found except a plant, with two blooming flowers. One red and one blue. Other than that, many bodies were found dead near the said plant, both Normal and Misfit. The people concluded that it was a gift from the gods to someone, but a curse to anyone. They also concluded that only the chosen one, the strongest, shall take the plant and this supposed to make them level equally with the said gods. Many people feared it, many tried to touch it, but ended up dying, many gave up on it but there are also many who tried to grow stronger and stronger, hoping one day the plant would be theirs. By this, they killed and killed, creating chaos through humanity. With everything said, they decided to name the plant Homo Novis, which translates to 'new man'.

The god who's tasked to maintain harmony was disappointed. He became really blue and he couldn't bear to watch the creatures he dear the most kill and hate each other. He decided to take matters into his own hands and despite not being known if he'll survive, he went down on Sinead to bring back what was once a peaceful land.

After many years of Homo Novis existing, the red flower vanished on the plant overnight, and people were furious. Some Misfit decided to find the missing plant as they believe it would take years before the person raise with the gods. So they began kicking doors and forcing people to hand it over.

Many years, the harmony remained broken, concealed, and was yet to return. The land became harsher than the bitterness of death as Misfit combine and team up to locate the red Homo Novis, turning a blank eye to the blue. But none of those were as feared as the most vigorous group to ever exist-- the Pentateuch. They've been described as all satanic despite the name. They do the most gruesome things you'd think of, and even though they were only five in the group, they managed to spread and broaden their tentacles, having Misfit on their side by bribing them with money raging over millions.

For years, people tremble in their presence, fold and waver just by being consumed by their sight. In spite of this, the group vanished from Sinead, and promised to return soon at the place to look for the person who has the red Homo Novis in possession, or said to be the gods' lost lamb.

It made the job for the specific god really hard. On the other hand, although scared, Normal people believed they were safe from all of this. They were considered weaker than the weakest Misfit after all.

And here is where the tale unfolds.
