Chapter 2 - Another world

"You take everything you're doing a joke, as if you lack seriousness. This world does not accept such people. You will never get somewhere if you don't start something. Nkrumah, i know you're interested in cooking, but the system in this world Will beat you if you don't go by its rules. You just have to understand that in this world, only magicians, or people with superpowers are given respect, are treated well and nice, and they have money, they are rich. Nkrumah, do you want to live with me in this hut forever?. Look at us, our house is surrounded by rich wooden houses, and we, in a raffia palm house. Look at how am suffering just for our own' good, look at how am killing myself to raise you, and you, all what you care about is to wake up about is to wake up, eat, brush your teeth and the small work you will do before going to school. And even if you go to School, you don't even pay attention to what the teacher teaches, if you come home, you come to tell me stories, that today, our teachers did this, our seniors did that, me i don't want to go to school again, i want to apply for a chef job. Do you think the chefs in big restaurants were not educated?, or just because you heard the popular chef Manu was not educated and today he is working in a big restaurant, you can also achieve the same?. Ask, how many of the popular chefs were not educated?. It's better you change your mind before it's too late. A word to a wise, is enough. You can choose to take my words, or just throw it away. And this disgrace you brought to yourself, an old boy like you, expelled because he couldn't do what they've been teaching for months. aaah, are you even a human being?, are you for Real?. You're stupid. Until you change, i will never stop insulting you. Even if Your useless mom and dad were alive today, they would have never be proud of you". Nkrumah sat to listen to all this hurting words, until he couldn't no more and angrily, with tears in his eyes walk out from the hut and run away, into a quite forest crying, it started to rain heavily, yet still, Nkrumah run forward and deep into the forest. He felt dirty, and full of guiltiness, and didn't deserve to live.

Nkrumah has been staying with his Uncle for 10 years now, after his parents died when he was only 2. His Uncle hated Nkrumah's parents, and that hatred was passed down to Nkrumah, and never liked a thing he did. Going through all this, Nkrumah burried the pain deep down in him and still kept a peaceful association with his Uncle until today. His Uncle prefered Nkrumah call him master, so Nkrumah just did as told.

"Mama, Papa, why did you leave me?. Why didn't you take me with you when breathing your last air?. Why didn't you take me?. Is it because am so useless to the extent that you couldn't take me, for i will be no help?. Am i that useless?, I don't deserve to live in a useful world. Master has said a lot of hurting words to me, and even sacked me from his team because he sees me as a pathetic person, a stupid person, and always sees me as an irksome person to him. I wish i didn't stay with him, i wish i have powers, just like my friends do!" Nkrumah said as he wiped the tears running down his cheeks. His cloth was wet, so he took off his shirt and run to stand on a cliff, looking down to a wide white and blue river. Lighting striked, giving a clear appearance of Nkrumah with a sorrowful face, as he closed his eyes and cried out all his tears. When Nkrumah opened his eyes again, he had jumped off the cliff, flowing in the air like water, and into the white and blue river[cham]. Nkrumah's body drowned to the bottom of the river. As his eyes closed, he muttered "i die in Peace".

Nkrumah knew he was to die, when he heard people calling him with a name, "Kwame, Kwame, Kwame, wake up, wake up!". And when Nkrumah opened his eyes, he was down on a silver arena, surrounded by men and women, all in blue dress, including him. "Wake up Kwame!". "What?" Nkrumah asked in mind when he saw his soul was been pulled by golden ropes to a shining gold artifact, in a vast blue Ocean. His soul was pulled, and pulled, and pulled into a blue gemstone. That is when Nkrumah gained conciousness and woke up, as if running from a nightmare. "Where am i?". Nkrumah was surprise to see he was sleeping on a comfortable wooden bed, in a well decorated room with flowers. A round table with two chairs around it was there in the room, and the room stretched more than 50m wide. Nkrumah was dressed in an all blue fitting dress, with designs of a vast Ocean, and a golden trident chain adorned around his neck. Nkrumah looked much grown here. He stood up from his bed to walk around the room, very amazed to see he was in such a beckon room.

A boy who jumped off a cliff into a river and sank to the bottom of the river and thought he was dead, is alive and with a new identity that would shock everybody in his school and even his master.

All of a sudden, Nkrumah started to feel giddy; his mind was recalling some memories, "he been the first student to won a battle contest facing a his senior. And just before his clan mates were about to jubilate his success, he passed out. After Nkrumah has recall this memories, he muttered, "i am not Nkrumah, i am Kwame in this world. It's a miracle that i didn't die when i jumped into that River. Or, did i die and am reincarnated into this world?". Someone knocked on Kwame's door, "Kwame, are you up?". "Yes i am" Kwame responded simple. The person opened Kwame's wooden door and entered the room.

"Kwame, after you passed out, have you changed, because Kwame never answer a question that simple?" A boy of sixteen to seventeen years old with short black hair, in the same all blue dress with designs of a vast Ocean and a golden trident chain adorned his neck asked as he walked to Kwame. "I want to rest Tipo, please can you leave?" "ahh i said it. You've changed" Tipo said. "Not that Tipo, i feel dizzy, and because i used my water mark power to defeat senior Antibadu, i feel weak, so kindly go, so i can rest". "Okay. But on a condition", "What condition Tipo?". "Promise me you will first go and confirm that you're fine to Naana, after you gain back your health, before any-one does" Tipo said with a cunning smile, rubbing his palms and gave only an eye look to Kwame. To make things quick, Kwame agreed to Tipo's condition. "Okay bye, see you with beautiful Naana at the palace hall tonight" Tipo said and turned back to walk out from Kwame's room. Kwame shook his head with a smiling face as he walked back to his bed, and sat to meditate.

"I was a useless and powerless human figure in my old world. But in this one, it's like everything has turned side ways. Still i don't get it, what really happend?. I jumped off the cliff into the river, and..and.. woke up again, heard Kwame Kwame wake up. I remember why i passed out and clearly remember my childhood here, and the one in my old world. How is it possible to either die, or could it be my Nkrumah body still lie at the bottom of the river?. No. I heard red whales and sharks are in that River, so probably my Nkrumah body is eaten up. So it maybe my soul was transmigrated?" Kwasi opened his eyes from meditation and relaxed on his bed slowly. "Jumping into a river to the bottom, and opening my eyes is a new world, it's true, nature is unintelligible".
