Belle had no idea why she was stuck inside Alexa's car, which had been shipped to a faraway town. All she was told was to deliver a small package to the person staying in room 106.
The timing was unfortunate. She was just about to leave the mansion for her studies when her mother called, telling her that she had one more task to accomplish before she could set off.
Belle had no choice but to go because she knew her mother wouldn't be kind enough to let her leave if she angered Alexa again. Just getting permission to continue her studies almost killed her, so she couldn't risk having that taken away again.
So here she was, twiddling with her necklace as she watched the flickering lights disappear into the distance. Before long, she was greeted by the sight of trees and sparse lighting as they moved farther away from the heart of the city.
