As a royal, you need to have grace. You need to be elegant. You also need to be smart, brilliant, skillful and most importantly, RESPONSIBLE.
I may be graceful, I am elegant, smart brilliant and I've got lots of talents from horse riding to archery to even fencing. I'm really good at fencing. Although, I can't say the same for my responsibilities. I like to get half done and the others, well... let's just say I postpone them to probably the next day... or maybe next month.
It's always "AMANDA, DON'T TELL ME YOU SKIPPED YOUR CLASSES AGAIN!" or it's" "AMANDA, DON'T RIDE THE HORSE WITHOUT AN EQUESTRIAN HELMET!"
I guess I'm a troublemaker after all. Once, I accidentally burnt a portion of the fairy Queen's private garden.
It was about two years ago. My family was invited to the fae kingdom. I probably forgot to say that I practice magic. Where were we...ah yes. The crowned prince was celebrating his birthday. It was after the birthday party. The Queen had invited us and other guests to stay for the night.
I really wanted to practice my magic. I happened to have found myself in her garden. I wanted to practice my levetation spell. I put a ball near the plants. I tried to make it float. Well, good news is that it did work. Bad news is,I couldn't keep up for long so the ball fell and somehow,I ended up burning a portion of her garden.
The second bad news was that she was just behind me. "You burnt my garden." I nearly jumped hearing her voice.
"I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to... I-" She ignored me and crouched down on the burnt portion. It was just twelve inches burnt. I mean, her garden is massive.
She then got up and turned to look at me.
"It's okay. It's not that bad." With that, she turned back to her burnt portion and as if reversing time, she gave that portion life again. She turned to means smiled, "try not to destroy anything again, okay? "
She then left. I'm lucky because if it were the dragon empress, she'd have burnt me and use my ashes for only she knows what.
Also, I wished I asked the Queen what her daily secret is, or maybe the body lotion she uses because, she looked really young for a forty-one year old.
The Queen has a twin sister. Her sister's a pixie. I'm telling you, it's not easy to negotiate with pixies. You can't just enter their territory so easily either.
The fae Queen was older than her sister.
I used to visit their kingdom when I was younger about three to four times in a month.
I'm actually close with the pixie Queen's daughter. She's my age. By the way, did I say I'm 15 this year?
The fairy Queen has blonde hair, blue eyes, silver wings with golden stripes and a fair skin.
The pixie Queen on the other hand also has blonde hair. Except, she had two different eye colours. Her left eye is blue and her right eye is yellow. She has slightly pointed ears. Her wings are bluish-silver with white stripes. Her upper wing is a pair.
She looks younger. Unlike her sister's quiet calm peace of mind and patience, she's more of a destroyer. She's also not so much of a 'patient' person. At least, she's not quick tempered. She's actually quite nice.
I love her castle. From the white walls to the massive doors to the glass like floors and stairs. I wish I could visit there again someday.
Back to my responsibilities. Luckily for me, I'm not the crown princess of my land. My older brother is.
I know what you're thinking. You're thinking 'so can't females be crowned' or 'do you only know of crowned princes'
I actually do know a few crowned princesses. I mean, take the fae Queen as an example. She was once a crowned princess. I do know crowned princesses who are either almost or exactly my age.
No. 1, the crowned princess of the dragon empire. the dragon empress' daughter the current 'crowned princess' is 6 years older than me but we still get along with each other. She's my best friend. I also take her as an older sister.
No. 2, the crowned princess of the Western mermaid kingdom. The crown princess is my age. Yep and mermaid. I wouldn't call her my friend. we are more of foods of first of... 'frenemies'
No. 3, the crowned princess of the northern elf kingdom. She's 2 years older than me. She's more of a hunter than a princess. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have been able to improve in my archery.
No. 4, the crowned princess of the Fox tribe. She's also very cunning, well... she is a fox.
No. 5, the crowned princess of the wolf tribe. she's also a year older than me. I like her. not only a she bold, but she's also enthusiastic and love to fool around once in a while.
For now, their names are a hush hush. They'll be revealed later... or never. There are others though. I just can't remember them now. You must be wondering, if they are dragons and mermaids, faries and even elfs, then what does that make me. well I should probably introduce myself properly then.
I am Amanda Moonuit the, third child and second daughter of my parents. I have three siblings, my older brother who's the crowned prince of course, my oldest sister and my younger brother.
My parents govern or ruled the kingdom of Ermil. Ermil is one of the famous kingdoms. It is the kingdom of the night sky. During the day, the sky is blue yet it's not too bright, not to dark. The stars can still be seen, although not that much. In the late afternoon, the sky becomes a deep shade of indigo with the start shining light little white dots. During the night, the sky becomes dark pitch black. But the closer you, look the more you'll be able to see a tone of purple above the black pitch sky. The moment it's midnight, the stars start to glow in different colors. They start dance in the night sky. Twirling about, making a colorful scenery.
Anytime I look at them, the more I'm reminded of the valley of ghost. During midnight, the ghost hold a ball among themselves, dancing with their partners under the bright moon with their pale blueish-green colour.
Oh, and the best part about Ermil is that we are the only kingdom with three moons. A very rare site indeed. All three have a name from the largest, medium and to the smallest.
By the way, the clouds here are a silverish-pink. lovely. That's why Ermil is called the kingdom of the night sky.
We've got a lot of visitors, especially during winter. Now that's the real deal.
My parents are busy most of the time, although, they always make time for me and my siblings.
Oh, and did I tell you that dragons lay eggs? Probably not. You'll understand later.
