Charlotte stood quietly at the port of Island No. 1, facing the vast sea alone.
The air was thick with the smell of gunpowder and tension.
It didn't take long for a fleet of naval headquarters warships to emerge on the horizon.
Charlotte's gaze sharpened as he noticed who was leading the fleet. It was none other than Admiral Kong.
Standing at the bow of the flagship, Kong was an imposing figure. His yellow-brown skin glowed under the sun, and his black-and-white hair and beard framed his rugged face. A jagged scar ran under his left eye, adding to his menacing appearance. Kong's muscular frame was emphasized by his sleeveless black shirt, adorned with badges, a dark green armband, and a light yellow scarf around his neck. His justice cloak billowed in the wind, projecting authority and power.
The moment Kong spotted Charlotte, his voice thundered across the sea.
"Fire!"
The command echoed through the fleet, and the naval warships roared in unison. Cannons blasted simultaneously, hurling volleys of destruction toward Charlotte.
Charlotte narrowed his eyes, his hand instinctively tightening around the hilt of the Seven Star Sword.
The oppressive aura of his Haoshoku Haki (Conqueror's Haki) surged to the sky, exuding an intense, intimidating pressure.
Charlotte slowly raised the Seven Star Sword.
"Demon Sword - Tyrant Heaven!"
With his Haki wrapped around the blade, the Seven Star Sword radiated an overwhelming power.
Charlotte swung the sword with immense force, unleashing a massive wave of energy that tore through the air. The slash, crackling with red and green energy, soared toward the fleet like a wrathful storm.
Kong's pupils shrank. He hadn't expected Charlotte to launch such a powerful attack right away.
"Damn it!"
Kong's Haki flared up as he prepared to counter the incoming attack. His fists, coated in dense Armament Haki, glowed with a deep red hue.
"Shave!"
With a burst of speed, Kong leapt into the air and charged at the shockwave.
But it was too late.
The destructive slash collided with the fleet, obliterating five of the ten warships instantly. The remaining ships, including Kong's flagship, were severely damaged.
Kong steadied himself mid-air, his expression dark with rage.
"Charlotte!" he roared, steam rising from his body as his anger boiled over.
More than two hundred naval soldiers were killed in the attack, many of them elites from the headquarters. Kong's heart burned with fury and grief.
"You'll pay for this!"
Kong launched himself at Charlotte, his fists glowing with a mixture of red and black Haki.
Charlotte smirked, the Seven Star Sword pulsing with power in his hand.
"Let's see who falls first!"
With a burst of speed, Charlotte vanished and reappeared directly in front of Kong.
Clang!
Sword and fist collided, sending shockwaves rippling across the sea.
The force of their clash caused massive waves to erupt, rocking the few remaining naval warships.
Both combatants were blown backward by the impact.
Charlotte somersaulted in the air, landing gracefully. Kong, on the other hand, skidded back several meters before regaining his footing.
"You're old, Kong," Charlotte taunted, a mocking grin on his face. "Your punches feel weak."
Kong's expression darkened. "I'll make sure you rot in Impel Down, where you'll never see the light of day again!"
He charged at Charlotte again, his body brimming with Haki.
Charlotte, equally eager, raised the Seven Star Sword, which glowed with an eerie reddish-green aura.
Kong's eyes narrowed. "That sword… a demon sword?"
Charlotte grinned. "You guessed it. The Demon Sword Seven Star Sword. It will be the weapon that ends your life."
Their Haki clashed once more, creating a tangible pressure that cracked the ground beneath them.
On a nearby rooftop, a young man holding a camera watched in awe.
"This is insane… The top powers of the sea are clashing right in front of me!"
He quickly raised his camera, snapping photos of the battle.
"Hahahaha! Big news! I need to inform the president!" he exclaimed, only to realize his camera wasn't on.
Cursing, he fumbled to turn it on before making a call.
"Moshimoshi! President, it's big news! Admiral Kong is fighting Captain Charlotte of the Rocks Pirates' Eighth Division at the Sabaody Archipelago! Yes, I'll send the photos right away!"
At the headquarters of the World Economic Journal, Morgans cackled with excitement.
"Spread the news across the seas! Admiral Kong versus the Bloody Great Swordsman Charlotte! Who's stronger, the Navy's hero or the pirate devil? Gahahaha!"

Back on Island No. 1, the battlefield was in ruins. The once-bustling port was reduced to rubble, with many structures collapsed and countless lives lost.
Amid the destruction, Charlotte stood with a grin, blood dripping from his face.
"You're slowing down, Kong," he mocked. "Getting old, are we?"
Kong, his clothes torn and bloodied, glared at Charlotte. "You're going to regret this, pirate!"
Charlotte laughed, raising the Seven Star Sword.
"Demon Fire Slash!"
A fiery wave of energy erupted from the blade, hurtling toward Kong.
Kong countered with a powerful punch, his Armament Haki blazing. The clash sent sparks flying, but the force of the attack left a gash on Kong's arm.
Charlotte's excitement grew.
"Hahahaha! Come on, Kong! Show me what you've got!"
He swung the Seven Star Sword again and again, each strike more powerful than the last.
Kong, though battered, stood firm, his body wrapped in an impenetrable layer of Haki.
Charlotte marveled at Kong's resilience. "An Armament monster, huh? No wonder Garp learned from you."
The two continued their fierce battle, their clashes lighting up the battlefield like fireworks.
As their duel raged on, the world watched with bated breath, waiting to see who would emerge victorious.
