Ash quickly found the medicinal herbs he needed, then crushed them all. After crushing the herbs, he stored the juice in a small glass bottle. While it was possible to buy potions from the system shop, there was something special about personally collecting herbs and making healing potions for his Pokémon. That experience couldn't be matched by simply purchasing potions from the shop.
The Pokémon had been training for a long time, and while they rested, Ash applied the juice he had made onto their bodies.
Meanwhile, Mewtwo was lazily lying on the grass, basking in the sun. Seeing this, Ash lay down beside it.
"Ash, what do you think that man, Giovanni from Team Rocket, is doing right now?" Mewtwo communicated through telepathy to Ash.
"Don't worry about it, Mewtwo. Sooner or later, we'll have a confrontation with Team Rocket. Let's see whether your power or their technology is stronger. I'm really looking forward to it!" Ash replied, excited.
Mewtwo hummed softly and turned its head away.
"Even if human technology is powerful, it can't compare to someone of my level. However, during the time I was tricked by Giovanni and wore the sealing armor, I felt the presence of someone with tremendous power. I look forward to meeting that person!" Mewtwo said proudly. Indeed, Mewtwo's power surpassed that of most Legendary Pokémon.
After chatting some more, Ash had the Pokémon train a bit longer before they set off again.
When they arrived at Silver Town, May rushed to sign up for the local competition. After signing up, the competition would take place the next day, so Ash decided to let the Pokémon rest overnight at the Pokémon Center.
The next day, the Pokemon Contest in Silver Town was about to begin!
The host was still Miss Lilian, and there were three judges. Two of the judges were the same, but the third, Nurse Joy, was replaced by the Nurse Joy from Silver Town.
"Today's audience is as enthusiastic as ever! However, Miss Lilian has an apology to make. It seems that there was a small issue with the production team, and a participant named Jeremy has not yet arrived. Jeremy, did you mistakenly sit in the audience section?" Lilian said, soothing the crowd.

Then, the Coordinators began showcasing the charm of their Pokémon.
Silver Town's Pokemon Contest was a small-scale event compared to the previous Saffron City Contest, with only about twenty participants.
The format was simple: after all the performances, only four contestants would advance to the second round of judging. Pokémon showed off their unique charm and the synergy with their coordinators.
Finally, it was May's turn to perform.
"Go, May!" "Pikachu!" "Good luck, May!"
Ash, Misty, Brock, and Pikachu cheered her on. May nodded firmly, looking at her friends.
"Squirtle, take the stage with charm!"
"Squirtle!"
May threw the Pokéball, and Squirtle emerged, immediately using a light Ice Beam. Its small, cute body spun in the air, and the beam formed a misty, icy glow around Squirtle.
Squirtle landed elegantly and gave a polite bow to the audience, earning applause.
"Wow, this Squirtle is so cute!" "This girl is so beautiful, and her partner is amazing!" "I can't wait to see more!"
"Squirtle, use a powerful Bubble Attack!"
"Squirtle!"
Squirtle released many bubbles, with one large bubble in the center. It climbed onto the large bubble, standing proudly.
"Now for the final touch. Squirtle, use Ice Beam to pop all the bubbles!" May said confidently.
The bubbles shattered as Squirtle's Ice Beam hit them, scattering an icy glow that sparkled under the lights.
Finally, Squirtle broke the largest bubble in the center. The shards of the bubble formed an icy lotus shape in the air. Squirtle landed perfectly in the middle of the icy lotus, finishing the performance. The audience erupted into thunderous applause!
