However, all around in all the books and crannies of the city and all the billboards, you could see advertisements for a game: Paradise Lands. Apparently, it was Earth's first 100% MMORPG VR game with fully immersive realism. Also, the game pods came with 2 years supply of a Body Enhancement fluid that rapidly improved human Physique.
Currently, there was two days left till the game was sold out, and there were already over a billion sales.
Somewhere in the suburbs, a young man say excitedly in his living room. He was good-looking with black hair, pale skin and almost lifeless blue eyes. However, there was a wide grin on his face.
"I finally got it" Mike wondered aloud. Mike Riddle was the only child of two military professionals who had died in battle. As they were comparatively well-off, and couples with the compensation and insurance he got, which totaled almost ten million Federation dollars, he had enough to live a peaceful life for as long as possible.
However, he sat there, looking at a large sleek pod sitting in a corner of his living room. He has bought a deluxe edition Paradise Lands game pod for over a million dollars. Mike had always been fascinated by Video games, and when he heard Paradise Lands would have a fully immersive realism, he gritted his teeth and bought the best-possible pod buyable.
Stepping into it, one could see a king-sized bed-like surface that one could lie on. There were several rows of vials with a blue liquid that were connected to the pod. As he had paid for a deluxe pod, he had received Premium Body Enhancement fluids that could last for 5 years.
However, the main reason Mike bought the VR pod was: It had a coin-to-cash steady exchange of 1 copper for 5 Federation dollars. 100 coppers make 1 silver, which equates 500 Federation dollars, and 100 silvers made 1 gold, which equated 50,000 Federation dollars!
With a firm expression, Mike swore in his hearts:"I will not only enjoy this game, but make enough to live a free life through the game".
Mike never knew that infact, those weren't the true gains of the game. Actually, 1 day in reality equated 7 in-game. Which meant 1 year meant 7 in-game. With it, humanity had a new "Virtual" home!!!
