{~Sam~}It had been a few weeks since school had started and I had found a healthy routine, school, work, training on the weekends and then rinse and repeat. I had met some others at the school but mostly it was simply a bunch of qualifications tests and more tests to see where you were going to be placed to better compensate for you and your magic. The reason it took weeks was because many of the upper mages that were usually the ones to handle all of this were called away to meet with the council of grand mages. Something about some new type of magic and new monsters that had sprung up, I wasn't bothered because I knew that it would all come in time and I would finally witness my dream come true. To become as powerful as I could. Or even..to become a new god.I yawned as I woke up and looked around my room, my school uniform was hanging on the door to the bathroom and my work uniform underneath that. I stood and stretched groaning as my bones cracked and I sighed in anticipation for today, it was time for classes to actually start. Well the specific classes, the teachers and aids were back for the most part so they were having these big tests as a final integration into the school, we were told that it wouldn't matter how we score in terms of not getting in because everyone that was already accepted got classes no matter what, this was a test for the magic classes and to see where we ranged in terms of power, mobility, efficiency, and tactical superiority. To say I was excited was an understatement, we didn't know what the tests would consist of but I would finally be able to fight others, it wasn't a bunch of written tests, demonstrations of our power or questionnaires. This was the real thing.I slipped into my work uniform then put my school uniform over it. I looked into the mirror, the school uniform were simple robes that could be worn over any other clothes for simple taking off if need be. I nodded to myself as I grabbed my bag and left for my class, I greeted the people that I had come to know as I walked, Nan the old grocer, Steve the baker and more. I soon at the gates of Pixonia and smiled as I bumped into a colleague and exclaimed "Benjah! How are you?"The elf jumped as he looked up from digging through his satchel "Oh! Hey Sam, big day huh? You're never here this early?" I chuckled and gently scratched the back of my head and nodded "Yeah, it's the day of combat initiation. Ya know the combat classes are supposed to to start since the teachers are back from their whole gathering."He nodded and smiled as he closed his satchel "That's right, it is today isn't it. I'll be in the stands rooting for ya!" He smiled more then trotted off with a happy gait leaving me none the wiser.I got to my classroom and nodded to the teacher who simply blinked in greeting, soon the class filled and our teacher stretched as he stood and gazed at us. "Today's the day, all our teacher's are either back or will be back so the combat classes will begin after today. As we have said and prepared you for, there will be an...initiation of sorts. All the mages will compete in this test and our teachers will choose their pupils, a group of mages that they will personally teach and mentor during their time here. You will all be chosen by a teacher at the end in a ceremony. The test begins in about ten minutes, change out of your uniforms and into your battle gear. Make sure you have your pendants on as well." He declared. We all nodded and quickly changed out of our clothes and into our degrees of armor. I had upgraded my armor so that instead of being inside an amulet it was simply the armor but had chimera scales and mane appropriated into it. I had also appropriated the chimera crystal that I had acquired all those weeks ago, I had planted it into the breastplate of my armor and it powered up my magic with tiny bursts, or one big burst. The downside was that it cracked which each burst of power eventually breaking if too much. Well exploding. Our class had experienced that first-hand when we were experimenting with them. The poor guy still had the face scars. I stretched and walked over to a girl who was standing by the window staring at the looming walls of the stadium. "Hey Garcia, what do you think the whole test will consist of?" I asked as I leaned against the window opposite her.She glanced at me then around the room then with a little smirk muttered "I didn't hear this..but there are rumors around that we'll be fighting monsters as a group. Then we'll be fighting monsters in groups. Never alone."I nodded as I adjusted my straps inside my armor with a grin "Thanks, I owe you."She waved me off as the teacher stood and stretched waving his tail around as he declared "Alright students. It is time. I will brief you on your tests then you'll head for the pitch. Once you are on the pitch, your test begins. Now, this test is different than the other classes. You are warriors and you will be tested as such. However, there are...special conditions that you will all be subject too. You will be all be tested as a whole class, then groups of students." He lashed his tail as voices groaned and protested, my voice among them and continued "That is not up to discussion, you are all experienced fighting by yourselves, the higher ups have decided this. Your future mentors will be watching. As will many that live around the area. After this test, you're amulets will flash a color, find students that have the same color and your mentors will find you. Now, I technically cannot tell you exactly what you will be tested on but they never said I couldn't teach you about it."He winked as his calico black form stood and walked out of the room with a final "An alarm will ring, and you all know the way to the pitch. Good luck students!" And with that his small cat form disappeared out the door.I laughed and checked over my armor, tightening the strap and checking to make sure my war picks were on my hips in their sheaths. As did the others students, seventeen in all. It had been about ten minutes later when the room started to echo with a voice from our pendants "All battlemage students please report to the stadium for testing. I repeat: All battlemage students please report to the stadium for testing."I smiled as I looked around "Time to get to work."I stretched as I stood in the archway alongside my class as we waited for our cue to go out on the pitch. I looked around at the small class and nodded as I tuned back into the motivational speech that many of the others were participating in, some simple 'We've been training for this.' 'This is what we've been preparing for.' stuff like that. I genuinely smiled as we all cheered together then I gazed back out towards the pitch when a female voice spoke beside me "Hey, you okay?"I turned around to see Marceline Garcia standing there looking at me worriedly and I nodded with a smile "Of course. I just can't get this..buzzing feeling out of my head. It's like..like a big sign that's saying caution but I can't hear or see it ya know? Like foretelling something will go wrong. Just.. bizarre."She nodded and gently put her hand on my shoulder "Well I don't know about you. But we need you in this, you're a great strategist and a powerful mage. We'll need you." I smiled and turned towards the class to find them all watching us with determination in their eyes as I took a deep breath and our pendants flashed green, our cue. I looked over the class and grinned as I nodded "Slow and steady. Just like we trained. Today. It's us, look out for each other, we know our roles. Let's crush this!"Loud cheers rang out as we all turned, many of us sliding our helmets on if they weren't already, or sliding hoods up as we began walking out from under the archway, into the light of the stadium. I looked around as my eyes adjusted from the light and my ears rang from the sound of the stands, loud and proud. We all walked to the center of the pitch then turned our attention to the crowd, a well-oiled machine..almost. I nodded as the noise died down when a woman stood atop a podium and started to float, her fluttery voice echoing "Hello young battlemages, as you may know, I am Taylie Fouguy, Head Communications Mage here at Pixonia. I will be relaying your information on your tests today. It is quite simple, first as a class, you will defeat a monster. While this is not for a written grade, you will however be graded on how you act as a class, individually, as well as other things that your mentors wish to grade themselves. Your second test will be explained if you complete the first test. You will fail if the time limit runs past, too many of your fighters are unable to battle or if the mentors deem it unfit for your class to progress," She smiled a devious smile as her gaze floated over the class "Your first test will finish when the monster is unable to battle, whether that be by knockout or entrapment. And it begins. Now." With that she disappeared in a gust of wind appearing back in her seat as the magic barriers came up and a gate on the far end started to slowly and creakily open.As soon as we heard the tell-tale sound of the barrier going up we went into battle mode, those who were adept at healing and range were set in the middle with the attackers surrounding them and the defenders surrounding the class as a whole. We had developed a beginning strategy that consisted of our weaker people in terms of attack power and the more important members to be in the center to be protected, while they formulated a plan to defeat the monster, the attackers served as a nuisance to the monster, finding weaknesses and forcing it to use their powers so it could be identified. We all agreed to attempt to get everyone out but we knew there would more than likely be various injuries, thus we planned to have people that were skilled in fast magic to basically bolt them to safety within the phalanx. A full-proof plan if I do say so myself. I nodded to the others as we all kept our eyes out, we watched as the gate opened fully, we only steadied further casting our glances around when the cage opened up to reveal nothing but shadows. I gently placed my hand on one of the healers as I closed my eyes spreading my focus through the earth, to my surprise I couldn't find anything when my eyes shot open and I only managed to get out a single word as a giant jet black leopard shot out of the cage jumping at us with it's sword-like teeth bared "THERE!"With a reaction faster than I could have imagined, the defender that was right in it's attack path slammed his hands down causing a large wall made of mud to shoot up as if it was a geyser, right into the path of the leopard. It roared as it soared over us, and into a circle of magic that disappeared as soon as it reappeared. I kept glancing around as I shifted my senses to the ground and shook my head as Garcia looked at me, "I got nothing, wherever it went, it's not touching the ground around here, keep your eyes out."I pulled my war picks out as I moved up into the attack ranks and nudged one of the more ranged compatible mages back towards the center, "Can you stretch your senses through the ground to keep an eye out...you're much better at it than I am. Tell our earth mages where to strike when that thing lands." He nodded as I turned my attention back to my surroundings as the class murmured to itself when the leopard reappeared, this time above us. A cry rang out as a girl pointed her spear up towards it "It's running along the barrier!"I watched it as I crouched in anticipation for when it landed, I could see the other attackers do the same. The mage that I had pushed back exclaimed "It's gonna land near the cage again! Aim your magic there and trap it!" Two of the defenders slammed their shields down right before the leopard landed and turned the ground into mud. It slipped causing it to lose it's footing as we took our chance. Two students rushed forward, I was just after them as we raced toward the off balance monster. I created an earthen slope that allowed me to jump into the air and slam my armored body into it's side, shoving the giant cat over. The two other attackers jumped onto it's side as well, the largest of us three jumped on it's neck pinning it's head down easily. I however was not faring that easily, it was thrashing everywhere and I had to be careful not to be struck by it flailing paws and it's long spear-like tail, I batted the tail away again and again as I struggled to keep my balance. Once again it flailed and this time I rode it and at the peak I jumped, it's tail lashed out as I grabbed it landing on the ground once more and simply pulling just enough that the tail was immobilized. I looked up and noticed a foot coming towards me when a figure slammed down on the back end of the leopard right before my head was taken off. I smiled up at them in thanks and they grunted back at me "The others say it's a Shadowjumper and there's another around. We'll trap this one then get back to the phalanx."I nodded as ropes and earthen bonds entrapped it to the ground, our pendants flashed gold and I glanced up at the teachers who had indifferent looks on their faces. I growled as I stood and started to make my way towards the class when shouts of alarm were yelled at me and I watched in slow-motion as one of the defenders slammed the ground, I could see his magic shooting towards me and magic blasts were directed my way from the other students. But it was all-for-naught as I felt something throw me into the air then a force slammed into my side catapulting me away from the group into the side of the stadium with a loud crash. I'm sure to the outside it looked like an anime fight when there was a big cloud of dust and a dramatic reveal but there wasn't any dust when I could see, I was in a crater in the wall. The force that had slammed into me was the second Shadowjumper that came from who knows where, it was going for it's captured ally and my class was tearing into it, preventing it from attacking and defending. It was simply frozen and taking hits, I felt several hands on my body pulling me from the concrete but i felt a mile away, several voices were heard as suddenly I was in the middle of the phalanx and two students were hovering over me, their eyes glowing with magic as their hands ran over my body. I heard cracks and snaps as my bones popped back into place when suddenly just as fast as I seemed to be pushed out of reality like when you stand at the end of a long hallway to suddenly everything being in focus and the sounds suddenly flooded my ears.I gasped as I sat up and the healers panted with smiles on their faces and nodded to me. I groaned as I stood with their help "Thanks Andre, and you too Matt. What's happening?" They gestured to where we had formed a sort of blockade around the entrapped monster, the defenders and attackers were harassing the Shadowjumper, keeping it from disappearing into it's portals and from attacking. I could now see the reason why, three students were submerged halfway into the ground, their faces scrunched in concentration and their barely visible hands clasped together tightly.Andre nudged me as he spoke "As soon as you took down the first one, the second appeared. It smacked you into the wall pretty hard, nearly all your ribs with dislocated and your heart stopped for a couple seconds. I'm not sure why you weren't unconscious when she got you to us. You died for a couple seconds. Anyway, we gained confirmation that it's only these two monsters. So we've been playing nuisance with it while we got you back up."I nodded as I stretched and someone else handed me my picks back as I muttered "Of course I'm the first to get injured and technically die. I owe you guys big for this." I glanced over at Andre who laughed and motioned to Garcia who was leaning against the wall breathing heavily "Thank her, she's the one who risked her hide to grab you, it was a very dangerous game of ring around the rosy with that Shadowjumper while she was holding you."I nodded to her and she only waved me off. I smirked as I walked to the front right behind the defenders and slammed my war picks together, calling attention back to myself, it was also a signal to the attackers who were distracting the giant leopard to back off. One by one they appeared by my side and I grinned as I locked my eyes on the Shadowjumper who was pacing the opposite side of the arena. "THIS IS IT KIDS! WE FINISH IT HERE! YOU KNOW THE DRILL, LETS GET IT DONE!"I raised my picks as my classes voices all roared in response causing the crowd to go wild as out voices said the same thing "ALL FOR IT, OR ALL FOR NOTHING!!!"I lowered my picks as the Shadowjumper stopped pacing and snarled. I grinned and shrugged my shoulder signaling the ranged mages to start firing to start the final charge. A minute passed when the large leopard grew impatient and with a flick of it's sleek black tail it charged forward, straight into a large sized ball of energy. The blast the magic missile caused the Shadowjumper to be blown back a few feet and disorientated and gave us our opening. We shot forward like bullets from guns and basically became little needles, stabbing vital areas and forcing the Shadowjumper back more and more. Soon little cuts became the lengths of swords, black-oil like blood ran from its many wounds yet it showed little fear and stopping. When it tried to attack it was met with steel and when it did a get a hit on a student, they were quickly carted back to healers back in the fight. We were finally acting as a well-oiled machine. Little by little we pushed the Shadowjumper back against the wall when the defenders yelled "Up front are the shields!" We ceased our attacks as we all jumped and were pulled back by air mages landing safely as the defenders all pushed up slamming their mighty magic into the Shadowjumper pinning it to the wall and we responded "Behind are the spears!"We watched as the ranged and healers all shot their magic towards the Shadowjumper causing the big cat to slowly be covered in magic silk pinning it in place with a loud "And we stand here! A base for them to brace against!"There was stunned silence as we finished the Shadowjumpers were immobilized and we all congratulated each other, surrounding each other on the pitch. We all turned our attention to the stands awaiting to see our score with baited breath. It was so quiet as the screens all focused on us slowly panned around us, our attention on the giant screen underneath the teachers section. When it stayed black we prepared for the worst, many of the students holding each other up when it finally came to life as the Head Coms Mage once again stood with an unrecognizable expression, she gestured towards the screen as her voice once again rang throughout the stadium "Phalanx Class. I do believe that I not only speak for myself when I say that test was-" I looked down in disappointment, many of my other classmates doing the same, believing that we had failed "-one of legends." I blinked as I looked up again, my mouth open in shock as the stadium erupted in cheers. Ms.Fouguy started to clap as she nodded down at us and one by one the teachers stood up each giving us a round of applause. We all stood there receiving praise and celebrating amongst ourselves as the applause and cheers went on. Soon after our first test, we had all gathered back under the archway waiting once again for our cue. The teachers had decided to give us a chance to rest before our second and final test if there was going to be one at all. We had pretty much set a new school record for the class test and I'm positive we all shined in our own ways. We were all stretching and recuperating after it, well mostly me after getting crushed into the wall and all but there were a couple of others that were drained of their magic and energy and some had light injuries.I groaned as I felt one of the healer's hands pass over my back before they gently patted my shoulder and left to tend to any of the other students. Most of them I didn't remember their names but I knew that I could count on them, at least at this moment. I groaned as I stood and stretched then walked back over to the entrance of the archway as I checked over my armor, it would need to be repaired at the end of this, some of the straps had ripped and there were parts that looked about to buckle. "Gods...how hard was I hit into that wall? My armor looks like it's about to shatter in some areas.." I mutter to myself as I look and feel my armor for anything that needed immediate attention.I felt a nudge on my side and I glanced over to see Andre adjusting his cloak as he stood beside me and said "We're all good and ready to go, you did great inspiring them. How do you do it?"I shrugged and gently leaned against the wall as we both looked back out towards the fields in soft silence, everyone preparing themselves individually for the trial to come. Our silence was interrupted by the buzz of the television screens that came to life, we all turned our attention to them as Ms.Fouguy appeared on the screen and began speaking "Hello again Aspirants and fans! I am excited to announce that this final test will be a special one, instead of the Aspirants pairing off into teams and doing their test, the teachers have decided to let this class face this one as a class, however! Their test will be one of survival, they will survive until the last person is either unconscious, off the stage or unable to battle. Of course, we will have medic mages on standby to tend to any wounds and others to grab the unconscious Aspirants should they be unable to battle any further. Now! Let us welcome these aspiring Aspirants! The Phalanx Class!"I looked back over the class with a smile and nodded when I saw their determined expressions and said "Slow and steady. We've already made it by my guess. We're so powerful together that they had to change the tests! Don't get arrogant, watch each other's backs. Just like we practiced. Now. This is our final test. Let's go make history again!"I turned as we all started to walk to the pitch, many of us walking with our heads up confident and we assured ourselves that we would set another record, but we didn't know that it for something no one had ever anticipated.Once again we all got into a phalanx formation, ranged and support in the center, attackers surrounding them and defenders surrounding them. I slowly looked around then glanced up at the teachers to see them staring back at us. I shivered as I started to think and noticed that time had passed and we were all just nervous balls of magic. I nodded reassuringly to everyone and muttered softly "They're just trying to psyche us out. Keep steady and watch each other's backs okay? Now...we didn't get the chance to quickly decide over this: since this is survival. Do we all get eliminated one by one? Or what...because for survival strategies...I'm at a loss, unfortunately.."I chuckled as everyone cast disbelieving looks at me with smiles and started to brainstorm. I smiled at the concentrated looks most had when one of the defense mages spoke up "I know. Everyone thinks that survival is the key to this test right? What if it's not. What if it's team cohesion again, so while it's a survival setting, they aren't grading on how long we survive. They're grading to see how well we all work together and keep each other up. So a simple way to rectify that. A group system. Like the buddy system but it has one of each group, defense, attack, support, and range. Like a competitive video game!"I nodded as people started to shuffle together but still stayed in the phalanx formation, the inside looked like a star. I readied my weapons and watched as time flew by, tick by tick. Many got anxious as nothing happened until it did. We were ready for something explosive, loud, big. Even I was thrown off when a soft rumble was felt through the ground and I saw a small ripple throughout the sand, I watched as the creature surfaced and my eyebrows furrowed in confusion as I witnessed its bodies. The others cast quick looks at me with questions in their eyes, I shook my head and grimaced softly as I felt a body brush against my back and a voice "What was that, oh esteemed leader of the Phalanx class?"I scoffed "I wish y'all wouldn't look at me like some leader. I'm not complaining but seriously."The girl shrugged as she responded "Well you're powerful, smart, inspiring, cocky when deserved AND you help everyone with their magic. Now oh, genius leader, what do you think we're up against?"I sighed and shook my head "Well..no idea, it passed by too fast to understand. "Everyone nodded and just as we were all getting antsy once again, the ground rumbled again and the sky darkened. I felt a sense of dread when I turned to see a wall behind me, the patterns on it resembled scales and I blanked as it rippled. My gaze slowly lifted up along the wall until it moved, showing its head. "My gods...who gave birth to such a monster. And why does it have four heads."I watched stuck as the monster split into four necks and one looked directly at me, it had no eyes and its entire head was its mouth, with serrated teeth lining the insides and outsides of its jaw. Spittle and drool were hanging from its jaws as its heads parted to reveal that they actually weren't four heads but four of the same beasts, sandworms, evident when the one that seemed to be staring at me attacked. The air around it made a hissing sound as its head shot forward towards me. The breath shot out of me as I was lifted off my feet and watched as the worm's mouth basically took the spot I was standing in and ate it, it reared up and its throat vibrated creating a sound that reverberated through my skull. I landed on my feet and doubled over as the sound got louder. Slowly I was able to look up to see that the worm had its mouth open snarling at me. I could see that the inside of its mouth was vibrating, a sonic attack aimed right at me. Pain coursed through my body as I cast my gaze around looking for my team to find them cut off and being rounded up by the other worms. I was on my own.The sounds reverberated through my skull more and more as the worm got closer and I felt my ears start to tremble then slowly felt something leak out, down my earlobe. I tried to scream in pain but nothing came out, and just as I started to give up and blackout, the world seemed to stop. I heard a voice "Who are you to give up so easily. You let an eyeless, toothless monstrosity dictate how you lose? Get up. Show me. Who is Samuel."I gritted my teeth as I came too, to find that the worm was closer now, the sound shredding my eardrums and disorienting me heavily. Anger coursed through my veins as I gripped the ground and sent my conscious through it. I got a sense of where everyone was and started to mold the arena as I slowly climbed to my feet and stared in defiance at the worm. A roar reverberated through the arena, soft and dull at first but got louder and louder until it ended with a loud crack.I grinned in pain as the scream of the worm stopped and the silence greeted my ears. I murmured just as I lost my footing and fell forward "Sweet Silence. I win."__--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------__{Arena POV}The fight started off well enough, the Aspirants closing ranks in their signature phalanx and awaiting their opponents. Their leader, a boy by the name of Samuel seemed to notice what they were fighting at first but quickly dismissed it to calm his allies down. He often calmed his class down and they all looked up to him even if they had more experience or were older, a natural-born leader. The teachers murmured amongst themselves as they assessed the students until one such event caught most of their attention. Samuel was caught in a sonic trap, one of the sandworms had singled him out and had easily got him immobilized, the leader was on his knees and he looked as if he was screaming but nothing was coming out.Various protests rang out from the crowd as the teachers watched with interest. The boy was obviously struggling when his hands sunk into the ground and he looked around the arena before a low roar sounded from the arena. Some teachers stood and the barrier rippled with the added power but their attention was simply too high as the roar got louder and the source evident as Samuel stood and glared in defiance and anger at the worm who then flew back across the arena slamming into its comrades and into the arena wall as a snap echoed throughout and the ground opened up. The medic mages flew into action as all battle ceased to tend to the wounded but got there too late as the only voice echoed throughout the arena, Samuel who had opened a chasm in the middle of the arena spoke as he fell "Sweet Silence. I win."The teachers gaped in shock as they surveyed the damage he had caused. The students were on one side of the chasm beside each other or in the relative distance while the four sandworms had been knocked against the wall on the opposite side of the chasm. The crack stemmed from one point that was nearest the direct middle of the arena by one of the gates. Samuel was nowhere to be found. They all leaped into action as the medical mages tended to the wounded creatures as well the unconscious Aspirants. Of the seventeen students, one was missing, six were mildly injured and all were drained of their energy and magic. Five teachers went to the origin of the chasm and flew down to where they assumed that Samuel had fallen. The screens lit up as they showed what the teachers were looking at through one of the signature eye-bots, flying robots shaped like the lens of a camera that recorded and provided vision on many things that the school hosted. The screens showed that the teachers descending into a large cavern, their faces grim when a gasp was heard. The eye-bot panned around the cavern to find Samuel floating in a large pool of frothing red and black water. The teachers warily stood at the edge of the pool as the water splashed over the side of the pool before settling as it slowly ceased all movement. The teachers cast glances at each other before one removed their cloak and slowly started to enter the calm water. As they got closer, the water descended into rapids behind them, trapping the teacher in the pool and cutting off the others. The only light from the top that barely penetrated into the dark and the red glow from the water. The crowd held their breath as they watched the figure get only a couple feet from the still floating body when the water went calm once more and the glow intensified. They all watched as the glow solidified into long strands of red and black that resembled DNA and slowly made their way towards the teacher and student. The teacher froze as they watched the strands of magic arched through the air and water before entering the student that convulsed violently. There were words of protests from both the teachers and crowd as they watched but a flung out arm from the teacher in the water stopped. They identified themselves as the newest assistant teacher May Blackman. They all watched as the boy was submerged and when May lunged to help the boy, chains materialized around her. She struggled for a minute before the chains tightened and she couldn't move. The crowd watched stuck as Samuel's body convulsed then went still, slowly the screens brightened as the red and black glow was slowly flowing into a whirlpool with the boy in the middle. The sound of rushing water echoed throughout the stadium as the water engulfed the boy before crashing back into the rest of the pool. Everyone held their breath as May shrugged off the chains and rushed to the boy. She slowly picked him up, checking his pulse and everyone could see the relief in her shoulders as she glanced back at the teachers and said "He's alive!"The teachers busied themselves with making sure everyone was safe. The crowd was ushered out of the arena with vague promises on the boy who had been immediately taken to the school's medical wing. The boy was checked over repeatedly by the nurses and doctors until they all were satisfied that he was alright, it wouldn't look good if a student died on their watch even by his own volition.Unbeknownst to them, someone was there who knew everything that had happened to the boy and hadn't left his side since she was born. Invisible to their eyes a figure hung suspended in the air, she opened her eyes as she gently floated down to his side and slowly spoke as if coaxing him to life "It is time. Mother has a special mission for us. We will not disappoint now will we Samuel?" And with her words finished, the figure slowly dematerialized into specks of magic that fell over Samuel's unconscious body and covered his body, slowly seeping into him. Just as the last speck of magic disappeared he shot up gasping for air.
