As the three girls left the classroom, Caroline slowly approached both males. Upon approaching, she exhaled heavily. She looked at both Zack and Jacquade and said "I still can't believe that Renard is gone."
Jacquade sighed, "I know… how bad was he tho?"
Seemingly almost vomited. Her eyes widened as she looked to the ground. She replied "You really… really don't want to know."
Folding his lips, Jacquade shook his head. "Who and you were there!?"
Caroline's head elevated in the direction of Jacquade. "A friend of mine… but I can't tell where he disappeared to."
Zack's right hand touched Jacquade on his shoulder, "Aren't we going to go upstairs for our swords?"
A huge roar exclaimed above the roof. At this point, the noise inside the classrooms lowered as most students' heads elevated to the ceiling. Many were standing, few were sitting, while very few students continued eating. About half of the students inside had swords or bows attached to their clothes, the other had nothing.
A secretive silence flew across the class as many students were still looking up. Little movement could be seen.
Emerged, was a repeated tapping outside and left of the current classroom. The tapping got louder and louder as it approached, and few voices could be heard in the direction. Many students started looking at the door, to the direction of the sound.
Suddenly, with a quick jump of the eyebrows, Zack shouted "Crap!"
Zack ran towards the door. He was swiftly followed by Jacquade, then Caroline and a few students afterwards.
A firm roar could be heard overhead again. Zack, at the frame of the door, looked left where he saw three girls walking towards his direction. The three girls were the same girls that he was talking to moments ago. Few students could also be seen at the door of the class next door all looking outside.
With an anxious tone, Zack shouted "Hey! Hurry up!"
The tallest girl of the three, raised her eyebrows and looked at him. While walking, she folded the elbow of her left hand in a 90% angle, showing Zack the dorsal side of her hand and her five fingers outstretched upwards.
A louder roar occurred, it ceased the silence of the classrooms. Two muscular large brown feet landed heavily on the ground supported by strong winds.
Loud screams and shoutings could be heard from both buildings and the noise elevated again.
All three girls were still in the corridor, standing in front of the class that is two classes away from the one they were in previously. The girls looked to their left and saw the body of the Sensitised dragon fully appearing.
Its huge head facing in the girls' direction, and its eyes fixated on them.
Zack, still looking at the girls, behind him were Jacquade and Caroline. Jacquade to his left and Caroline to his right. Behind all three of them were 4 students.
All three girls were still staring at the dragon as his head cautiously drifted horizontally and its eyes still fixated on them.
Zack shouted "Run!"
The dragon ferociously opened its mouth as its huge teeths appeared. A decayed scent blew towards the girls. Roar!!
The girls screamed as the two shorter ones ran off. The tallest one of the girls ran later than her friends. Unbalanced and terrified, after two steps, she slipped and fell backwards on her ass.
Currently on the ground, she placed her right hand on her left butt. Ouch! "My big ass."
Zack ran towards her, quickly followed by Jacquade. The girl was sitting looking at the dragon while screaming. The dragon opened its mouth wider, appearing to try and bite the girl as she was sitting, screaming in agony.
By this time, Caroline already had her bow and arrow in her hand, pointing towards the dragon's head. The dragon's head lowered as it tried to grab another meal for its appetite. Zack was still panting as he was approaching her. As he reached a few steps away, an arrow whistled over his right shoulder. It pierced the upper part of the dragon's left wing.
The pitch of the girl's scream slowly lowered.
Jacquade stopped running as both he and the girl watched the dragon. It roared in pain and flapped its wings towards the direction of the corridor, and rose from the ground. Zack held her hands. She still watched, as did Jacquade and Caroline. The dragon flapped its wings and rose higher again. The murmuring and excitement of the students could be heard as few came outside to look.
Jacquade turned around swiftly and looked in the direction of Caroline. His eyebrows were lowered as his eyes were sharp. "Shoot it again!"
Caroline looked at him with her mouth wide open and eyebrows high. Her hand trembling, she stared at the beast as she slowly placed down her bow as the dragon flew away.
"Caroline?!" The anger was abundant in Jacquade's voice.
The place was cloudy, as all that could be seen were white clouds. Cruch. One step ahead. Crunch. The left foot stepped forward. The atmosphere was still white, as all that could be seen was clouds, and fog. The place felt cold, as bumps slowly grew on Caroline's hand. Her head slowly moved to the left. Her head continued to move as it held a pause.
"Hello!?"
"Hello!!!... Hello!!..... Hello!"
The sound echoed.
White clouds danced along her right eyes as it passed infront her left eye. Calmly, she rotated her head and turned her face in the direction the clouds were passing. The clouds started to reduce in amount as the atmosphere got more clear. Leaves started to show. The clouds slowly evaporated, and after several moments, more and more leaves were visible. After a minute, the place appeared to be covered in trees.
"Is anyone here?... Hello" Caroline shouted into the group of trees, with her eyebrows heightened and mouth wide opened. Her hands were clasped around her nose and chin with an opening around her mouth, in an effort to louden the sound.
A trembling sound arose. It got louder and louder, as if a dog was on the verge of barking, but trying to intimidate its prey. Caroline froze with widened eyebrows. She turned her eyes to the right, then rotated her head to the right slowly. As she turned her body slowly around….a large mouth opened.
Into the darkness her face went, and her consciousness disappeared.
In a haste, Caroline's head jumped from the table. Her hands were still crossed on the table when her head rose. Sweat ran down on her face as her chest was thumping slightly faster than normal. She exhaled deeply. Closed her eyes, and exhaled deeper again.
