Lin Feng stepped out slowly, drawing his Tianwen Sword amidst the mockery of five unruly men.
"Saeko, what do you think we should do with them?" Lin Feng asked, glancing at the five troublemakers before turning to Busujima Saeko behind him.
"Kill them," Saeko replied after some thought, her anger rekindled as she recalled their earlier disrespectful behavior. "Such people don't deserve to exist in this world."
"Alright. Then go back and rest. I'll handle this." Lin Feng smiled calmly at her words.
Saeko turned back into the room, leaving Lin Feng alone in the hall with the five men.
"Your biggest mistake in life was angering me!" Lin Feng bellowed. Without hesitation, he dashed forward and swiftly decapitated the man at the forefront with a single slash. Blood spattered as Lin Feng mercilessly dispatched the rest.
The hall fell silent. Hearing no further commotion, Saeko emerged, only to be greeted by the sight of lifeless bodies strewn across the floor. She crouched down, gagging at the grisly scene.
"Stop gagging, or someone might think you're pregnant," Lin Feng quipped, attempting to lighten the mood and distract her from her discomfort.
"Pregnant? What are you even—?" Saeko paused, realizing what he meant, and flushed red with embarrassment. "You scoundrel!"
"Well, I wouldn't mind that happening," Lin Feng teased with a smirk. Then, leaning closer, he whispered softly in her ear, "Alright, get some sleep now."
Blushing deeply, Saeko leaned into Lin Feng's arms, feeling her body tingle at his words. Before she knew it, they were in bed together, drifting off into a peaceful slumber.
....
As dawn broke, Lin Feng woke around 5 a.m. out of habit. He froze momentarily when he saw someone sleeping beside him—a woman, no less. Realizing it was Saeko, a soft smile spread across his face.
Though he felt a little awkward—after all, he had lived alone for so long—he was comforted by Saeko's serene expression.
Quietly, he got dressed, kissed her forehead, and headed to the kitchen. After finding some supplies, he prepared breakfast for the first time in this post-apocalyptic world. Just as he was about to call Saeko, he turned to find her standing behind him—wearing only her bra and underwear.
Lin Feng quickly averted his gaze, flustered.
"Ha! Lin Feng, I didn't expect you to have such an adorable side," Saeko teased with a playful laugh.
"Why didn't you get dressed before coming out?" Lin Feng stammered, trying to steer the conversation.
"I smelled something delicious and got curious," she replied, grinning mischievously. "Besides, after holding me all night, how are you still shy?"
Saeko traced a finger teasingly along Lin Feng's chest.
"Hey, don't push me," Lin Feng warned, his patience wearing thin. "If you keep teasing me, I might just 'devour' you like a snack!"
Before she could react, Lin Feng grabbed her and kissed her deeply.
"Mm… You bully," Saeko mumbled, her face turning crimson. Her watery eyes and messy look only made Lin Feng's heart race.
....
During breakfast, Lin Feng served Saeko while they chatted.
"Is this the kind of food you have in your world? It's delicious!" Saeko remarked, savoring every bite.
"This is just simple stuff," Lin Feng replied. "Once we make it to my world, I'll take you out for some real treats."
"Promise?" Saeko asked playfully, her eyes sparkling.
"Of course. I never go back on my word," Lin Feng said, gently pinching her nose.
"You're so annoying!" she giggled.
....
After breakfast, Lin Feng and Saeko rode off on his motorcycle, heading toward the city.
"How far is it from here?" Lin Feng asked after driving for a while, unable to see the city's outskirts.
"About eight kilometers ahead, there's a bridge. Once we cross it, we'll reach the city limits," Saeko explained.
"Got it. Hold on tight; I'm speeding up," Lin Feng warned.
.....
Reaching the bridge, Lin Feng was met with a massive crowd of vehicles and pedestrians. Seeing no way through, he veered off toward the riverbank.
"Saeko, hold on," Lin Feng said as he scooped her into a princess carry.
"Ah! Lin Feng, what are you doing?!" Saeko exclaimed, startled.
"Crossing the river," he replied casually.
"Crossing the river?! How?!"
"Trust me."
Saeko nodded, burying her head against his chest.
In response to his mental command, a futuristic mechanical vehicle materialized beside them. It resembled a motorcycle but was larger and lacked wheels.
"What is this?" Saeko asked, her curiosity piqued.
"This is the Dragon Relic," Lin Feng said, patting the vehicle. "Think of it as a small, personal aircraft."
After settling Saeko on the vehicle, Lin Feng activated it. The machine hummed to life, lifting off the ground and carrying them smoothly toward the city.
With Saeko holding on tightly, Lin Feng grinned as they soared forward. "Welcome to my world," he whispered.
