"I have no idea why I appeared to save you in the first place maybe it's the initiation of fate or maybe it isn't, just consider yourself lucky enough to be my male servant and test object" Jasper remarked, his tone filled with indifference to Adrian's current thoughts.
"Wait what, this pervert wants to keep me up in this lonely castle to be his male servant. I must say I'm really impressed with the level of his audacity" Adrian's inner self already pictured the scene of slapping this "Lord Jasper" on the face a thousand times over.
On the outside though, he remained unsuspecting and quiet, not taking any rash action.
"I'll leave you to sort things out yourself in the castle. For now, I can already tell you're way more annoying than a bug so it's best I withheld your speech ability" Jasper snickered coolly.
A few moments after, he conjured a dimensional portal and walked into it, leaving behind a stunned and overwhelmed Adrian.
Adrian was dumbstruck the moment he saw Jasper leave through a dimensional portal. He immediately had to correct some of his ill thoughts and reconstruct his mindset towards approaching his predicament.
The one who captured him was not some cute, loving, handsome fairy-like man with flowers for a tongue. He was under the 'care' of a dangerous wizard, a powerful Magic Lord that had earned the title of Venerable.
A weak noobie teenager like himself with no physical status and also feeble magical abilities wouldn't suit as a person with qualifications to be Jasper's male servant.
It was indeed as Jasper had said, it was his luck that was too good that led to the two polar opposites coming together in the first place.
Discovering how messy the situation he landed himself into, he felt a sour taste on his tongue tip.
At this point, with his speech muted, he could neither laugh nor cry about his predicament.
"What do I do now, that pervert didn't leave me even a single task, he just left after giving his unprofessional introductory speech" Adrian paced about after getting out of bed.
He strode to the window to take a view of his surroundings. An escape plan was brewing in one half of his mind while the other half was obsessed with exploring Jasper and his magical castle.
At this point, both parties were battling for a chance at sovereignty. His next choice of decision would be based on the thought that sat at the top of the priority list.
On getting to the window, he peeped a gaze below as an instinctive method to know how far he was from the ground.
HUFF!!
Adrian's lips parted and his mouth gaped with shock at the sight that welcomed him firsthand.
Just now, after he gazed down, he saw that the place which was supposed to be brown earth happened to be white clouds.
It was so surreal and a sight that could be considered as magical in every sense of it.
There was a saying that referenced about building castles in the air. It appeared that Jasper took this saying to heart and used the laws of magic to birth it into existence.
Of course, any sane person who was on tour to this castle for the first time would find this concept fun and interesting. But it wasn't the same for Silly Adrian.
Prior to this, Adrian had brewing thoughts on escape. Once he did that, he'll put on a disguise for years and gather enough wealth to practice a magic scripture.
As long as he mastered a scripture, he would have accompanying spells to protect himself, if anything were to go wrong.
But now, after seeing that what was below wasn't sinking sand but floating clouds instead, he eliminated the thought.
Jumping down the castle with his little level of magical prowess would mean sure death for him whichever way it turned out.
The fear of falling off the sky and becoming a bag of bones made Adrian to fearfully conceal the ideas of escape he initially had.
Silly Adrian didn't even pause to ponder if the clouds below were only an illusion casted by Jasper. He held true to the intuition of danger he felt when he stared down, it was a scary moment.
It was far safer, or rather less traumatising for him to reside with this pervert for a while. He might be able to steal a few spells from this unacknowledged master of his.
If his performance was good enough, he could learn the legendary Dimensional Portal Opening Spell.
Honestly speaking, his eyes were filled with greed and a bit of worship when Jasper casually casted the portal opening spell just now as though it was such an easy spell to cast.
Just like that, Silly Adrian set out and began wandering around the sparse castle. He stopped at intervals and did normals while singing to himself happily.
In a wizard's castle, there was so little to do to clean but it was also stressful when paying attention to detail. Adrian started out with chores like dusting off Jasper's ordinary magical cauldrons.
These cauldrons were just temporary cauldrons and not a heart bonded one. For a warlock to step further into the world of sorcery, they'll need to master spells and potions.
The spells were the theoretical parts and the potions were the practical parts. Some people could easily master spells and some others with enough dedication could master the art of making potions.
One leaned their advantage on utility and the other leaned on combat. In the end, the one which had more mastery would become the path which the magician followed.
After he was done, he proceeded to a room whose doors were flung open. It turned out that this room was Jasper's magic arsenal that housed all of his magical weapon collections.
Someone known as a Magic Venerable was someone with high level combat and sorcery abilities. It wasn't a thing of surprise if such persons had thousands of magic swords and sabres in their care.
Adrian looked at the arsenal with glowing eyes, his silly mind projecting thoughts of theft and acquisition.
