Synopsis

Fading Signals

[The screen flickers to life with a burst of static, slowly clearing to reveal a dimly lit room. A man in a standard uniform stands at a podium, the faint hum of machinery in the background. His face appears stern, but there's a noticeable tension in his eyes. His speech is rapid, almost as if he's trying to get through the message too quickly.]

Man:

"Good... uh, good day. This is—well, this is just a brief update. Nothing to worry about, just standard procedure, as usual. You may notice a few changes... but, again, this is nothing new. You've all been briefed, and the—uh, systems are being monitored as they should be. All... all necessary preparations are being made. Everything's... it's... proceeding smoothly."

[He glances off to the side briefly, but then quickly refocuses, his voice slightly shaking.]

Man (slower, but deliberate):

"There's no need to... overreact. That's important. You know what to expect. Just continue as instructed, and everything will... follow its course. No disruptions. No... distractions. We'll continue forward. As planned. Everything is... just as it should be."

[He pauses again, eyes darting nervously, as if he's trying to remember something or struggling to stay composed.]

Man:

"We're—uh, we're still awaiting final confirmation on... on certain variables. But there's no reason to—well, no reason to doubt the process. Trust the system. Trust the protocol. And we'll be—"

[Suddenly, the screen glitches momentarily, distorting the man's face into an unnatural blur before it clears again. His tone shifts slightly, becoming almost too calm.]

Man:

"That's all for now. We'll be in touch when—when things progress. No immediate action required. Until then... just stay alert. Keep going as planned. The path remains the same."

[The man stares at the camera for a moment too long, before slowly nodding and stepping back. The transmission abruptly cuts off, and the screen flashes with static once more, leaving an unsettling silence.]

[End Broadcast.]
