Shock!
It was the only explanation for the look plastered all over her face. Her pretty lips hung open, glittering in the sunlight.
Who the hell does he think he is?
"Excuse me?"
"You're excused...".
With that he turned around to leave, behind him a fuming beauty. Ivy was not going to just let him walk away without giving him a piece of her mind after he had embarrassed her with his words.
Angrily, she reached out to grab him by the collar and he happened to move forward causing her to miss and fall forward with a yelp. Grabbing onto his shirt, Ivy's face came in contact with his back as her feet left the pavement she wanted to jump down from, causing her yet again to brush her face down his back, making it quite obvious that he was gifted in the height department. He stopped.
She should have been embarrassed... Probably dig a hole an jump in... Instead... Ivy took a deep breath.
She took yet another deep breath, longer than the first one with fingers gripping his shirt with only one word in her mind.
Peace..
His scent was... intoxicating. It wasn't even something she could place her hands on. It wasn't a single scent but somehow they come together and become one.
He smelt like a mix of old books, coffee and blue berries laced with mint. Intoxicating and addictive... How could a person smell so damn good!
Ivy was about to take another breath when she heard heard a voice... A very rude one that she was getting familiar with.
"Get... Your... Hands... Off... Me!"
It took a few seconds before she could register what he said.
"Get off me!"
"Huh?"
Ivy's eyes flung open to see herself holding onto the annoying guy with her face buried in his back. In shock she immediately let go but before she could word an apology he walked away.
Rude
10mins later...
Picking out a mirror to reapply her make up she gasped. A reflection of herself with black tears running down her check and a missing eyelash starred back at her. Touching her left eye she tried to recall what happened when it clicked and her hands flew to her mouth.
Ace walked along the hallway with black tear stains and an eyelash glued to the back of his shirt, oblivious to the weird looks people were giving him.
