Living or dying. The mortals always concern themselves with such prospects. They proceed warily in fear of their doom. There are the adventurers who willingly face despair, but even they will resign themselves to have a healer in the rear. After hard fought battles, they would seek cures for their wounds in a church. These were all intrinsic ideas in the mind of Hikari.
The pointed eared elf sat on a tree stump, looking past the foliage towards the bright sunlight. Her long locks of silver hair seemed almost ethereal. Her deep purple eyes radiated with a strange warmth. Her thin white priestess robes with purple adornments clung to her small, slender frame. The priestess's delicate hands rested on the wood beneath her.
Hikari released a sigh. One of her tiny hands extended outwards, calling forth a long golden staff. The tip had an intricate ring with tiny bells hanging down. However, the girl knew they would not make a sound. Unless she willed it, those bells wouldn't play a lively tune.
She brought the staff in front of her, and mana traveled from her hand to the tip of the staff. The bells jingled to and fro, playing in the forest like a wind chime.
A mass of magic energy formed in the air. A purple magic circle spread out over the ground, and the clouds in the sky parted. The mana condensed to an unbelievable point before forming a towering spire of purple light. Space itself seemed to connect to the ground by the purple beam.
Once the tower dissipated, a girl knelt before the silver elf. The woman was adorned in casual clothes. Her long black hair cascaded down her body, flowing over her grey shirt. The woman wore purple shorts that clung tightly to her voluptuous frame. They seemed to squeeze her thighs. However, the strangest part about the woman were her slit pupils, orange irises, and the black horns on her head. Either that or the scaly tail protruding from her rear.
The woman—Kurayami—gazed up at Hikari with reverence in her draconic eyes. "Master, I answer your summons."
Hikari narrowed her eyes at the humanoid dragon. A faint smile appeared on small the elf's lips. "Kurayami, even though it feels like it's been only a few days, it's been ages, hasn't it?"
"I don't know, master."
The elf's expression appeared shocked for a moment, but she reeled it in fast. Hikari had all the proof she needed to make a deduction. I can't believe it, but it seems like I reincarnated in another world.
Hikari wasn't supposed to be a real person. The elf was a player character in an MMO. Moreover, she was one of the top players on the server. This woman had transcended all of the game's barriers and became light itself. It was as if that revelation brought about her current state.
The dragon before her was an NPC she collected to fight battles on the front line. Being a solo healer with no support was a big no-no, but luckily she found salvation in a dragon gacha event.
Normally, a person's thoughts when they arrive in a new world should instantly be about the traversal, right? However, Hikari's first thoughts were about living or dying. It was as if the world imprinted those thoughts to her on arrival. This has to mean I died, right?
She finally regarded the dragon that still knelt and stared at her master patiently. "Kurayami…Do you know where we are?"
The dragon girl shook her head. "No, master. Though, I can tell we are no longer in [Gensuba]."
[Gensuba] was the game that Hikari had reached the top of healers. The sensations surrounding her in this forest proved true, so did the fact she randomly appeared on that stump—gazing into the sky like some profound girl who was one with nature.
In reality, Hiraki had no idea why she performed the actions she did, but it was as if her body knew what to do, and her mind acquiesced. She surrendered to her thoughts in that moment, and she didn't get the inkling of reincarnation until the dragon's visage sparked her mind. It was like seeing the dragon woke her up from a long nightmare.
The priestess extended her free hand outward, chanting in her mind. Status Open.

Hikari's eye twitched from seeing her race displayed on the panel. Among the races in the game, there was no such thing. A player would never be allowed to have so much power. Moreover, these stats were even more insane than when she last saw them.
"No matter how you look at it, this isn't normal!"
"Master, is something wrong?" The dragon girl asked, peering close to the elf's beautiful face. The warm breath of the Kurayami danced against Hikari's skin.
The elf had to resist looking at the cleavage formed by the large twin mounds of that dragon. Hikari's face went red, but she tempered her excitement. Instead, she used this opportunity to gaze at the dragon's status.

Hikari quickly closed the dragon's status. I feel like I just saw something absurd. The priestess elf groaned.
"What's wrong, master?"
Somehow it seemed her dragon was an even crazier existence than this "elf." Hikari vowed to never open her status again after she saw that. The wind blew in that small forest clearing, making the elf's hair appear even more ethereal. It was like nature was responding to her presence, making sure to make her seem as divine as possible.
Hikari released another deep sigh. "I guess the only thing we can do is explore this new world."
