His dad was cut off by the immense shaking off the house. The ground shook like a level 8 magnitude earthquake. The furniture fell to the ground, crack started forming on the walls and ground. His dad who was standing fell to the ground and Damien and the others
that were sitting held the table firmly. But that could hold them for long.
"What's happening!!!?" his mother Monica shouted baffled, but the resounding earthquake overpowered her voice. "I don't know." his father shouted back. This was definitely not a normal thing.
"It's happening." Damien muttered. Naturally, he was a pessimistic apocalyptic believer and he believed that zombies would soon rule the world. The mysterious attitude of his mentor confirmed it. Always telling him things like 'something is coming, I can feel it'
or maybe he was just delusional. No he isn't. His mentor was like him. Some might think it was the ramblings of a mad scientist, but not him. He was like his mentor, straightforward and sane. And mad ramblings were not in their nature.
'So this is the apocalypse ' he thought in both excitement and fear. Immense fear that may only be the beginning.
A few minutes later the earthquake subsided, but the house was completely wrecked. Thank God they have a rich sturdy house or else they would be buried in the debris of the house. They stood up with wobbly legs and stabilized themselves. Damien walked towards the door and carefully opened it. After all he had seen movies were a slight touch could cause it to collapse. And sure enough, there was dust falling from various cracks . But he was more worried about the view outside. It was immensely discouraging.
The sky was still a pure orange - red color not yet dominated by darkness, but within the sky were large spatial cracks. They looked exactly as described in his favor books and animes. The cracks had purple silverish edges with an endless darkness within. But if one looked within that darkness , one would see thousands of planets and millions of stars. Different planets with different colours and sizes. Some rare ones with different shapes. Some even had more than two suns.
They all had one thing in common and that was the purple mist around their ozone layer. From these planets, that purple mist invaded earth through the spatial cracks. Large amounts of it gushed into the air, that it all seemed like the most in the swamp, except that it was purple. It soon diffused into the atmosphere and everything was back to normal. But Damien could feel a new energy in the air. He was curious but didn't try to absorb it with his internal energy technique until he knew what it was.
The spatial cracks in the sky slowly repaired themselves and so did the large cracks and crevaces on the ground.
Scientifically, when space was torn open depending on the circumstances, there is supposed to be a huge suction force half that of a black hole. But it seemed like this was one of those special circumstances. What he didn't was that, this happened all over the world.
By this time, his other family members had arrived outside a long time ago, witnessed what he saw and were as shocked as he was. Right when his dad was about to speak, they were all shocked the more by the sound in their minds and the holographic message that suddenly appeared in front of each of them that only they could see.

[Congratulations earthlings, your planet has finally been accepted into the warm embrace of the Supreme Order. I have given you all the ability to grow stronger. So please strive to work hard and do that so you can stand on top of the world. To escape the atmosphere of your little planet. Good luck ^_^. ]

"Hehe, so the 'Supreme Order ' has a sense of humor" his sister, Alice laughed in disbelief. But was soon shocked, as a bolt of lightning fell on a displaced brick beside her. Turning it into the smallest atom, causing a tiny space crack to appear as a message sent directly to her.

[Reminder - The weak who cannot properly absorb the void energy will have it react in chaos. Which would disintegrate them from the inside out. So, due to the Supreme Order's mercy, they will be turned into animalistic mindless creatures that crave flesh and are highly contagious to give them a chance at evolution.]
Alice slightly shuddered, both due to the threat by the Sup---, by the Order and the fact that an old guy on the road behavior to scream hysterically, as he fell down and rolled around,as if experiencing antagonizing pain. Until he stopped moving and then slowly crawled up in a strange manner with wobbly legs. As he moved awkwardly, his limbs crackled creepily. His appearance has changed.
Some of his white hair fell off, leaving only a few strands on his gray, already decaying skin. He sniffed continuously and then turned his scary white eyes to the person next to him. Watching everything in horror, the person forgot to run, and by the time the old zombie roared at him with an ear-piercing screech, it was too late. With amazingly fast speed, the old zombie awkwardly ran towards him. By the time the random man turned around to run, it's nails and black teeth were already sunk into his neck with blood gushing out everywhere. Similar seems were happening everywhere. There was even one where a leached dog grew to the height of his owner and with red eyes, bit him in half. It was a gory scene. Gory enough to have his mother, Monika throw up.
This was just the beginning.
