Chapter 1 - Meteor fall

The world was calm. The sky was clear, stars shimmering as if heralding the peace achieved after long years of war between humans and monsters. Everyone thought the conflicts had settled, and the worst was behind them… until that night.

In the darkness of the night, a mysterious meteor tore through the sky, leaving a trail of dark crimson light in its wake. This was no ordinary celestial stone; it carried a secret that would change the world forever.

In a dense and shadowy forest, the meteor struck the ground with immense force, creating an explosion that illuminated the surrounding area with a frightening crimson hue.

Animals scattered in all directions, and leaves flew through the air as if trying to escape the catastrophe. When the dust settled, an astonishing revelation appeared: glowing cracks began to form on the meteor's surface, pulsing with strange whispers, as if voices from another world.

In a distant place, deep underground, the surviving monsters lived in hiding.

Sans sat in his small, dimly lit room, slouched in his usual chair. He looked tired as always, but something different seemed to weigh on him this time.

He picked up an empty glass beside him and gazed at his reflection on its surface. His face reflected dimly in the faint light, revealing his scarred left eye. That eye, bearing the mark of a long-ago battle, stood as a testament to endless pain.

On his back was a strange symbol, half blue and half red, glowing faintly as if it pulsed with life. This wasn't just a tattoo; it was a mark of something greater, something even Sans didn't fully understand.

When he heard about the meteor's fall, he wasn't surprised. It seemed as though he had been expecting something like this.

"A meteor? Just what we need... more problems," Sans muttered to himself as he got up from his chair.

He donned his long black coat, which surrounded him with an aura of mystery. His eyes, one faintly glowing blue, the other dim and weary, reflected an internal struggle.

"If this is the start of something new… the end won't be pretty."

At the meteor's crash site, eerie whispers intensified, and the outer shell began to crack, revealing a **dark orb floating in midair**. This was the first of the Eldritch Souls, known as the Soul of the Nightmare Beast, carrying with it a mysterious and terrifying energy.

At that moment, the world had no idea that the other souls were beginning to awaken, and with each step forward, the peace everyone had fought for was on the verge of collapse.

"The nightmare has begun."
