"ugh", I open my eyes as my alarm clock goes off. Its another night without enough sleep, and i can't help but want to go back to bed, but i know damn well that if i do i will be way too late to school. Today was an important test I've been studying all night because i forgot to study it before the last moment... why do i keep doing this? It was only like a couple months ago since i turned 18.
My grades are average, nothing bad but nothing super good either, and I'd like to keep it like that. I mean i am a legal adult now, so i should probably do good enough the get good enough grades to get a good enough job, which would be good enough for me.
I tear myself out of the nest I've made of my bed before turning off my alarm. I am barely able to keep my eyes open, that is until i look at the time. "SHIT, I'M GONNA BE LATE!", I launch myself out of bed and into my closet, where I super quickly put some clothes on. Then i charge down my stairs, get a single piece of bread, before running as fast as i can to school.
Ignoring all the friendly neighbors saying hi to me as a run past them, I am able to come to class just in time. I stand in the entrance to my classroom, absolutely exhausted.
"There he is, seems like everyone made it in time... Right, Kazuhiko? *Scoff* Try not to be super late next time, okay?" The teacher says.
"Yea sorry, my alarm didn't wake me up until like 30 minutes later." I answer honestly.
"Thank you, just remember im doing this because i want you to graduate." He answers back.
"Yea i know, im sorry." I reply.
Its true, my teacher, which i refer to as "Mr. Sakamoto" or just "Sir", does care about me, but he is very strict with the class.
"Ehem, alright everyone, we are having an influx of new students this week. Some are even starting today. So be nice to them. You may notice that there are more seats now, and that your seats are more compact now, we needed to make space for the new students. Listen here, these students are of a different species, is that understood?" Mr. Sakamoto announces.
"Yes sir" everyone replies, including myself.
Ever since the news of these species came out, I have always been super curios about them. I read whatever i could find of them. Turns out, there are like 300+ new species, including the sub-species. That's a lot of species if you ask me
