Joy let her mother give her a ride to school. As soon as she stepped out of the car, she couldn't contain her happiness any longer.
She was a transfer student. She transfered from her old school after discussing with her about being bullied countless times.
The main reason why she was bullied in her old school was mainly because she was pretty. Prettier than the rest. She was popularly known as the 'beauty goddess'.
Even if she wasn't interested in being in a romantic relationship yet, she still got asked out many times but she turned down all the guys, politely.
She got many enemies because of that. They claimed she saw her self as mighty simply because she was pretty and didn't accept any of the boys.
She got fed up with everything and decided to tell her mother who took action immediately. She reported to the ministry of education and all the students got expelled. She didn't want to risk leaving her child in the school and asked if Joy wanted to transfer and to her surprise, Joy agreed happily.
Joy waved her mother good bye and turned to leave. She looked at the building, it was amazing. Even better than her old school.
"Jefferson Highschool, here I come" she murmured to herself and started walking to the main entrance.
She could see kids walking to their classes and some playing around.
She loved the landscape. Everything was perfect.
She walked to the teachers' office first to sign in.
"Are you the new transfer student?" Mr brown the science asked.
"Yes sir" Joy was very polite and her smile made the wonder.
It was his period so they both walked to the class together.
The class was as noisy as hell. Everyone had things they were doing.
"Silence" the whole class composed themselves immediately. Before the man could introduced Joy, the whole class was already in awe.
"Who is she?"
"She's so pretty"
"Wow"
"Everybody quite!" And the students went silent.
Mr brown thought the class was quite enough and began first by introducing the pretty young lady beside him.
"This is Joy Smith, and she'll be joining you guys starting today. Take care of her and if hear any complain from her, you are all dead! Got that?!" He looked firm. His words sent shivers down their spines.
"Yes sir" all said in unison.
"Do you have anything to say to them?" He looked at Joy who looked really shy.
She shook her head indicating that she had nothing say.
"Okay you can sit at the um.... Do you prefer sitting in the back or front?"
"The back" Joy honestly replied.
"Okay. Sit with Ryan over there." Pointed that the boy who was clearly not interested in anything that was going on at that moment.
