"What do you want to ask?" Aruta asked.
"Did you find a strange cube-shaped stone with weird patterns?" Mono asked in a serious tone.
"Yeah. I found that stone in the bushes at the school," Aruta answered while scratching his head. "Why do you ask?" he asked back.
"Phew, thank goodness. I'll take that stone. Hurry up and hand it over to me," said Mono, reaching out his hand.
"Uh... I don't have the stone anymore," Aruta said.
"What do you mean?" asked Mono, shocked.
"Well, I don't have it with me anymore," Aruta said, pulling out his pants pockets.
"Huh?! Where is it now?" Mono asked, starting to panic.
"Uh, my friends borrowed it. They're on a night mission at the school," Aruta answered casually. "Is that bad?" Aruta asked with an innocent look on his face.
"That's stupid! Who are your friends?" Mono asked, growing more panicked.
"Vins and Uika," Aruta answered.
In an instant, Mono run off, leaving Aruta behind and speeding toward the school. Aruta, seeing Mono's panic, begin to realize something was wrong. He quickly chase after Mono.
"Hey, what's going on?" asked Aruta as he run after Mono.
Suddenly, Mono stopped and push Aruta, causing him to fall. Aruta try to sit up while saying, "Hey, why did you push me?"
"Don't follow me! You'll die if you come with me!" Mono shouted. "Your friends are in danger right now. I'm going to save them," Mono said, this time in a lower tone. "Just go home!" Mono turn around and continue running toward the school, leaving me sitting there.
I could only sit in silence. I didn't know what was really happening. Was it because of those creatures earlier? I immediately feel guilty for giving that stone to Vins. Did I just get my friends killed? But at the same time, I was too scared to go to the school.
"Wait a minute, I've fought creatures like that before," I muttered.
Aruta then remember his own words, "Maybe there's a reason behind our abilities."
"Yeah, you're right. It'd be a waste not to use these abilities," Aruta muttered as he stand up. "I have to help him." Aruta quickly rush toward the school.

At the school, Vins and Uika were walking down the school corridor. Some of the lights were already turned off, forcing them to use their phone flashlights.
"I hope we can find a ghost. If we can get a photo and post it online, it'll go viral," Uika said while playing with her phone.
"Hmm... I have a bad feeling about this," Vins said, looking at the stone Aruta had given him earlier.
"Huh? Are you scared~?" Uika teased.
"Of course not!" Vins answered .
They continue walking casually, unaware of the strange creatures following them.
"U~se... me..."
Vins and Uika kept walking down the hallway. However, a moment later, they stop when they see a girl in the distance. The girl was facing away from them, wearing a clean white dress.
"Hey, who's there?" Vins called, but the girl didn't answer and just stood there silently.
Curious, the two of them walk toward the girl. When they got close enough, they stopped.
"Hey Uika, have you seen that girl before?" Vins whispered to Uika.
"No," Uika answered.
Vins slowly approached the girl and asked, "Excuse me, why are you alone here?"
Again, the girl didn't say a word. Vins was confuse about what was happening. Suddenly, Vins accidentally dropp his phone. As he pick it up, his eyes widen when he see the girl's feet facing toward him.
Vins slowly looked up, and suddenly the girl move her neck unnaturally fast, as if breaking it herself. The movement caused her hair to part, revealing her face, which was mangled and covered in blood. Her right eye was missing, and her left eyeball was hanging out, almost detached.
"I... want... to go home," said the "girl."
Vins and Uika were terrified and fall backward. They try to turn around and run, but to their horror, they see so many terrifying creatures surrounding them.
"AAAAAHHHHH!!!" Their screams echo through the silent night.
Meanwhile, Mono arrive at the school, jump over the locked gate, and run across the school grounds.
"Uika! Vins! Where are you?" Mono shouted.
Mono keep running, searching for the two of them, but not long after, he hear a loud scream.
"Huh?! Was that them?" Mono immediately run toward the sound. "Damn it, have they already been chased by the junoi? I have to hurry!"
