After finding out that Luna's pencil case was left behind, Aruta and Juriko finally went back to school to accompany Luna. When they arrived at school, the school gate was closed. There was no one at school anymore. Aruta tried to open the school gate but it was locked.
"Ah, it's locked. How about you pick it up tomorrow morning?" Aruta asked Luna.
"But my house key is in the pencil case. My parents come home late at night. I can't enter the house if I don't get my pencil case," Luna said a little panicked.
"Hey, your house key is in your pencil case?!" Aruta was surprised.
Juriko, who was also surprised, thought to himself, "Why does it have to be in the pencil case? Why not in the bag."
After being silent for a while, Aruta broke the silence and said, "Oi Juriko. How about we just climb the fence?"
"It's better to not do anything crazy like that," Juriko said to Aruta.
However, Aruta didn't listen to Juriko and immediately climbed the fence.
"Just come along. We've already come this far. Might as well go all in," said Aruta who was already on the fence.
"Hey, just because you have the house key doesn't mean you can force me like this! Ugh you..." Juriko grumbled and finally had to follow Aruta rather than being alone outside the school gate.
Juriko started to climb the school fence. Aruta extended his hand to Luna to help her up. After successfully climbing the fence, they entered the school. They started to enter the school corridor and headed to class. Luckily their class was on the first floor. The corridor was quite dark because only a few lights were on.
When they were close to class, they were quite surprised because the classroom door was open.
"Hey, didn't we close the class earlier?" asked Aruta.
"Maybe we forgot?" Juriko said. "Let's get your pencil case and get out of here," Juriko said to Luna.
"Okay, give me a minute. you guys stay here, okay?" Luna started to enter the classroom. When Aruta and Juriko were waiting outside the classroom, they saw at the end of the corridor there was a girl who seemed to be the owner of the strange hair when they were doing the assignment earlier. They couldn't see the girl clearly because the end of the corridor was dark. Aruta and Juriko dared to check it out. When they were almost at the end of the corridor, they turned on the lights there. When Aruta and Juriko checked, they only found a mop and other cleaning tools.
"It seems like we just saw things because it was too dark. It's nothing here," Juriko said.
"Are you sure nothing's wrong here?" Aruta said.
"Come on. Don't think a bad things like that," Juriko said.
"They say there's a scary ghost in this school that roams around at night," Aruta said.
"Hey, don't tell stories like that," Juriko said.
"Oh~ are you scared~?" Aruta said with a mocking smile. "Yey yey yey yey, Juriko is a coward," Aruta continued.
"Nghh Another word, and hit will landed on your face," Juriko said annoyedly. "You've dragged me into this problem and you have to take responsibility," Juriko said poutingly.
"Okay, I'll ran away and bring this house key with me," Aruta said casually.
"Hey!! nghngggh damn you..." Juriko grumbled.
"Hey you guys," Luna shouted approaching Aruta and Juriko. "I thought you guys went home and left me alone. By the way, why are you in this corner of the corridor? Aren't you scared?" Luna continued asking.
"Not really," Juriko said.
"Are you~?" Aruta asked teasing Juriko and nudged Juriko with his elbow.
Juriko himself was annoyed with Aruta again.
"By the way, Luna. Do you know about the story of the school ghost who is said to always terrorize the school at night?" Aruta asked.
"Yeah, I know," Luna answered.
"Hmm, is the figure really there?" Aruta asked.
"Ah, don't talk about it. Let's just go home now. It's getting late too. The sun already set now," Luna said.
"Okay," Aruta replied.
"All your matter's done now? Not going back to school again?" Juriko asked.
"Yup. I've checked everything. Sorry to bother you two," said Luna smiling at Aruta and Juriko.
The two of them started walking through the corridor again to head towards the school fence.
"Gosh, it's so dark," Juriko said while still walking.
"Why? Are you scared again~?" Aruta teased Juriko again.
"Of course not!!" answered Juriko in a high voice and annoyed at Aruta for the umpteenth time.
"Oh yeah? Hu~ just imagine. When you turned around, suddenly Luna and I dissapear. And you were really alone here. And just imagine this Aruta figure in front of you is not 'Aruta'~" said Aruta, scaring Juriko and bringing his face closer to Juriko.
PLAK!! Juriko who couldn't hold it anymore finally slapped Aruta.
"Ouch, it hurts," said Aruta, holding his red cheek from being slapped by Juriko.
"Aruta figure in front of me is not 'Aruta'? What's the difference between you and a devil?" asked Juriko.
"tch, you damn," Aruta said.
"Hey, stop fighting. It's night time, at school espesiaclly," Luna said to Aruta and Juriko, breaking them up.
But when Aruta and Juriko turned to look at Luna, they suddenly froze. They just froze with their eyes wide open as if they saw something very scary behind Luna.
"Huh? What's wrong with you guys? It's like you saw a ghost."
