Iwagakure.
In the final moments, Ōnoki ultimately bore the burden alone.
"Aaargh! Stop right there, damn it!"
Just a few meters from the ground, he barely managed to hold back the two massive meteors.
Many Iwa-nin collapsed to the ground, savoring the relief of their near-death experience.
Someone muttered, "Who the hell knows what we just went through in that single minute..."
"Are they even human? That kind of power... only a god should possess it!"
Another ninja, his face filled with excitement, exclaimed, "Then doesn't that mean Lord Tsuchikage just stood shoulder to shoulder with the gods in a mortal's body?!"
Someone immediately rebuked him, "If you can't talk properly, just shut up!"
"Anyone who hears you might think you're praising Uchiha Madara instead."
...
Above the village.
Ōnoki, trembling, carried the two massive meteors as he slowly flew away from Iwagakure.
For some reason, he suddenly felt like a dung beetle...
Boom!
After mustering every ounce of his strength to hurl the meteors away from the village, Ōnoki's body went limp.
His limbs felt as if they no longer belonged to him.
"Ugh... My poor elbows..." Ōnoki groaned.
"And my kneecaps... not to mention my lower back..."
Kurotsuchi hurried over, worriedly supporting her grandfather.
"Are you alright, Grandpa? Let me help you rest."
"No!"
Gritting his teeth, Ōnoki waved her off and stubbornly said, "Help me get to Deidara—I have questions for that traitor!"
Kurotsuchi looked shocked. "Grandpa, you're in this state, and you still won't rest?!"
"Can't it wait? Why does it have to be now?"
Ōnoki's expression darkened. "You don't understand, Kurotsuchi. Take me there right now!"
"If I don't get an answer, I won't be able to eat or sleep in peace!"
"Sigh... Fine, Grandpa."
Though confused, Kurotsuchi obeyed and helped him to the small holding cell.
"Kick the door open, Kurotsuchi!"
"Huh? But Grandpa—"
"Kick it open!"
"...Alright."
With a loud bang!, the door was forcibly kicked open.
Inside, Deidara, lost in thought, was startled by the sudden commotion.
"What the hell?!"
Before Deidara could react, Ōnoki, supported by Kurotsuchi, stormed in and furiously demanded,
"You traitor! You said your Yoru Organization's leader is only a little older than you?!"
Clutching his chest, Deidara nearly choked.
Taking a deep breath, he frowned and snapped, "Did you take the wrong meds, old man, hm?!"
Without another word, Ōnoki locked eyes with him and spat out each word through gritted teeth.
"Answer. My. Question."
Deidara swore on the Sage of Six Paths—he had never seen the old man this furious before.
Not even when he blew up his house.
For some reason, he felt a little nervous.
After carefully recalling Obito's appearance, Deidara nodded firmly. "Yeah, the leader's only slightly older than me, hm!"
At the mention of Obito, Deidara suddenly remembered his undercover mission.
"But forget about that! Old man, I've decided—I'm staying in Iwagakure."
"I truly want to become Tsuchikage now, hm!"
Ōnoki sneered, his tone dripping with disdain. "You think you can just decide to be Tsuchikage?"
"Hah! Keep dreaming!"
Deidara: "???"
Didn't you just beg me to stay and inherit your position a few days ago?
Why the hell are you turning your back on me now, old man?!
...
Land of Lightning.
A country nestled among towering mountains, named for the constant rumbling of thunder that echoes across the land.
As for Kumogakure, its name naturally comes from the ever-present mist that lingers in the mountains.
In the Kamui Dimension.
Obito tossed in the twenty-first Kumogakure ninja, exhaling deeply before turning to Madara.
"Whew... Madara-sama, I've located the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki."
"He's currently training on a small island in the eastern part of the Land of Lightning."
Madara cracked his neck and said, "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go, Obito."
Obito made an OK sign. "Kamui Express—delivery guaranteed!"
...
An hour later.
The two arrived on a small island.
Lush greenery, falling blossoms—it looked like a paradise straight out of a novel.
As they walked through the dense foliage, the scenery suddenly opened up before them.
A majestic waterfall roared in the distance, its sapphire waters cascading down with a thunderous crash, exuding a pure and tranquil beauty.
Near the waterfall, on a clearing, a man in a white top, blue pants, and sunglasses was rhythmically swinging his swords while humming.
His dark skin and light blond hair were unmistakable.
Seven blades hung from his body.
This was their target—the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki, Killer Bee.
"My heart is burning with passion, yo~ Who dares to challenge me in a clash of fashion?"
Bee swung his dual blades in sync with his beat, freestyling as he went.
"Seven swords, no one can block~ Hey~ This is my home turf, don't get shocked!"
"My attacks will cut you clean, don't be scared~ It'll be over quick, no need to be prepared!"
Watching Bee twist his oversized backside to the rhythm, Madara frowned in distaste.
"This Jinchuriki... something's wrong with his head."
How was he supposed to enjoy a fight with an opponent like this?
"Hm?"
Seeming to notice them, Bee sheathed his swords and strode over.
When he was just a few steps away, he suddenly stopped.
Then, under Obito's puzzled and stunned gaze—
Bee began furiously gyrating his hips, hands twitching as he rapped:
"You're the one who's got a screw loose, yo~ Looking at you, I see a dumbass, though!"
"Sneaking around like a little snake, hey~ What are you two here to take?"
"If you've got evil plans, I'm not impressed, hm~ 'Cause I'll slice you both up, no contest!"
(╬ ̄皿 ̄)
Obito clearly saw the large "╬" mark forming on Madara's forehead.
Then he glanced at Bee, who was still smugly rapping.
Obito sighed and palmed his face.
"Oh no... We're screwed."
Madara coldly extended his hand toward Obito.
"Obito, give me my scythe. I'm cutting this fool's mouth to shreds."
Sighing, Obito handed over the scythe.
"Try not to kill him by accident."
Bee unsheathed two more blades, rapping with perfect rhythm:
"Fool~ Ya fool! Think you can cut me down? Yo~ Watch me break your legs to the ground!"
Ah, damn...
Seeing Madara's expression now—
(▼ヘ▼#)
Obito silently backed away, making sure to give Madara plenty of room.
This was the first time he had ever seen Madara this pissed off.
To make the legendary Uchiha Madara lose his composure...
Killer Bee, you truly are one of a kind...
