Watching the girl quiver in anger, Obito scratched his head in confusion.
What? All he wanted was… that. Why was this monster girl so mad?
She forced herself to calm down, a sweet smile once again gracing her face.
"I understand your request. Please, take a seat. I will personally attend to you in just a moment."
With that, she gently took Obito's hand and led him to the main seat, guiding him to sit before stepping away.
Her hands are so soft and cold… Obito thought to himself.
Soon, she returned, holding a plate of delicate pastries. She knelt before him gracefully, picked up a piece, and held it to his lips.
"I'll feed you. Say 'ah~.'"
Obito couldn't help but chuckle.
She's really going all out just to get a bite of me, huh?
Still, seeing her act so submissive, he couldn't bring himself to ruin the mood.
With a smirk, he opened his mouth obediently.
"Ah~~~ Pfft!"
"I, Obito, would rather starve to death, right here, than eat even a crumb of your food!"
His sudden spitting sent droplets flying all over her face. Her expression immediately darkened, and her once-sweet voice turned sharp and venomous.
"You ungrateful human! Why not just eat and save us both the trouble?!"
The luxurious palace vanished in an instant.
What greeted Obito's eyes instead was a gloomy snake pit, littered with pale, gleaming bones.
The delectable feast from moments ago? Now it reeked of decay, revealed as rotten flesh.

Furious, the snake shed her delicate appearance, transforming into a grotesque visage straight out of a nightmare.
Her triangular eyes glinted with malice, her mouth stretched to her ears, and her sharp, uneven teeth framed a sickly blue-purple tongue. The sight was enough to make Obito gag.
"Argh! My eyes! I can't unsee this!"
Imagine, a once-beautiful maiden, now a horror worse than Orochimaru himself.
Who could handle this?
Clutching his face in anguish, Obito reeled as her eyes burned with predatory intent. Overcome with rage, she lunged forward, intent on devouring him whole.
But before she could strike, a soft, lilting voice echoed through the mist.
"You've failed. He wasn't fooled by your tricks."
She froze and turned, her expression cold.
"I know that! I don't need you to remind me."
In Ryūchi Cave, the White Snake Sage had one unbreakable rule:
Only those who failed the trials could be eaten by the three attendants.
Since Obito resisted temptation and didn't partake of the feast, he had successfully passed the test.
Bound by the rules, she had no choice but to retreat. Her form dissolved into the mist as she spat out a venomous curse.
"Madmen who seek power will always end up as someone else's meal!"

Obito shrugged nonchalantly.
"Who said I came here for power? I'm just here to stir up some trouble."
He paid no mind to her parting threat, instead glancing toward another part of the cave where a small figure flickered in the mist.
A petite girl emerged, her silhouette enticing as if beckoning him to follow.
Obito chuckled and trailed after her.
"At least… she's cute before transforming!"
The path led him to a stone door. Suddenly, the little girl appeared behind him, her voice soft and sweet.
"I find you very interesting. Come, play with me for a while~"
Obito coughed, feigning composure.
"Ahem. What do you want to play? I might… consider it."
The little girl tilted her head, smiling.
"All you have to do is fill the holes on this door. The materials are right here. Do it, and you win~."
Obito inspected the door. It was covered in grooves, with matching pieces scattered below.
Seriously? This is it?!
He shot her a look of disbelief.
"After all that buildup, you want me to… solve this puzzle? Are you mocking my intelligence?!"
Grumbling, he got to work. In less than a minute, he slotted the pieces into place.
With a rumbling sound, the door opened.
The little girl sighed, disappearing into the mist.
"Ah~ You're tougher than I thought. Eating you won't be easy."
Obito sighed too, shaking his head.
"With your brain? Yeah, no chance."
This trial is way too boring.
Just then, a powerful, elegant voice cut through his thoughts.
"Oh~ is that so? Then why not try my test?"
[Injecting poison into the subject, inducing hallucinations, and shattering their mind.]
A beautiful woman emerged from the mist, her gaze sharp and commanding. Without warning, she lunged at Obito, fangs bared for his neck.
"Crack!"
Her bite landed on… nothing. She bit empty air, nearly cracking her own teeth in frustration.
Obito turned to face her, laughing so hard he clutched his stomach.
"Pfft! Hahahahaha! Are you here to make me laugh?!"
Her face contorted in rage, revealing a visage as fearsome as Orochimaru's.
"Damn you! I'll eat you, human!"
But before she could act, a voice echoed from the depths of the mist.
"That's enough. Let him pass."
Tsunatsu-hime hesitated, her expression unwilling.
"But White Snake Sage—"
"Hmm?"
A single hum silenced her.
"…Understood."
She vanished, along with the lingering mist, revealing the path ahead.
A grand temple stood before him, this one tangible and real.
"So, I finally get to meet the legendary White Snake Sage," Obito mused, grinning as he pushed the temple doors open with a flourish.
"Let's see how much fun this gets!"
Ascending the stone steps, Obito reached the highest level of the temple.
Beneath a massive snake-head statue, the White Snake Sage reclined leisurely on a long chair, her eyes filled with intrigue as she sized him up.
