"Welcome to Red Moon Hotel sir!" The blonde lady welcomed me as I entered the lobby of the most lowkey best hotels in Manila. This is where the criminals stay.
"Your room is ready, Mr. Renzo." I got the key card handed out by the blondie. Though, I didn't go to the room right away, I went to the restaurant.
Walking to the elevator area, I clicked on the button pointing down.
I waited for a minute before the elevator dinged. I took a step back just in case there were people on their way out of the elevator. But surprisingly, there was a copper-toned, wavy hair girl in the elevator.
Isla
For some reason I started to walk and purposely bumped her when she was on her way out of the elevator. "I'm sorry miss." I say and she just nods and leaves. I was inside the elevator when I unintentionally kicked something on the floor, and when I looked down, I realized it was a wallet.
Must be hers. I usually wouldn't care. I would just steal the wallet, I mean finders keepers, right?
"Miss! Miss!" I jogged towards her. Thankfully she hasn't left yet. She looked behind her. She was judgefully looking at me as if I'm a bad person. I mean I am, but not now. "You dropped your wallet."
"Oh." her glossy pink lips formed 'o'. That was the moment I knew why Maximus was so into her. She's a succubus.
My world is so different from normal people. I don't know how to explain this but vampires.
We're not blood suckers, we're immortal beings who have the characteristics of the vampire but less of blood. Maybe there are real vampires out there but who cares.
"Thanks." She got hold of the wallet I passed to her. She left then. while I continued my way to the restaurant.
Again, in my world, there's no such thing as royalty vampires, the drugs we sell makes us royal. Whoever is on top is the royal. So, The four ranked mountains are the royals. The unknown mountain is the king or queen, the Mt. Everest is the prince, the Chocolate Hills are the dutches, and I am the knight.
I was born in this world so I know my way but there are people who have to transition. Like Maximus, there were signs he was an immortal so he had to go through the ritual which is to kill him to activate his immortality. This happened 3 years ago when Isla left him.
I sat where the windows were. Nothing to see through it but the large aquarium of the restaurant. It's my first time visiting this hotel. I guess Maximus was right. This hotel is a therapy for criminals.
"Welcome to Red Moon Restaurant sir, Are you ready to order?"
"Yes, Maximuss' usal."
The waitress wrote it down and left. Now, that was impressive. I guess Maximus is a regular here. Maximus told me to order his usual and people would know if I just said his name.
Talking about Maximus, while waiting for the food, I opened my phone to send a link to him.
'What's this?' He replied.
'What u wanted' I replied.
It's the live location of Isla. Earlier, while picking up her wallet I stuck a round micro-deceive that track's location.
'He's on his way'
CALISTA
"You wanna fuck?" The blue eyed man asks me as he trapped me in the corner of an alley just in front of the hotel. I didn't foresee him following me when I decided to take a smoke outside the hotel to relax myself.
Now I find myself pinned against the wall with this man with blue eyes. "I'm not a whore." I say with my poker face on. I don't play with losers like him. "You have a bunny beauty, why are you even smoking?" I snatched the cigarette between my fingers. He placed it in his mouth and took a drag from the cigarette.
That pissed me off. That was mine. "Hey, leave me alone." I say. "And if not?" He asks.
Out of nowhere and out of the senses of my mind, I took out my folding knife and stabbed him beneath his chin. I saw his startled eyes. I'm not sure if he was wondering, questioning or what? Blood started to drip out of his mouth and eyes.
I didn't know how. I didn't know when. I found myself back in the hotel at the restaurant bathroom washing my hands. I only have ten minutes left to go back to my table before my wine arrives.
After what happened a few minutes ago, I felt relaxed, and more alive. It's as if I'm hungry to kill. Don't worry about the body at the dark alley right infront of the hotel. They're good at hiding dead bodies inside and one-hundred-fifty-five steps away from the hotel. I mean, I've experienced it with Mac.
I saw him dead. But lost him an hour later. I couldn't find his body anywhere but just six feet under. There was no proper burial with people around. I was only told he was just beneath the ground. When I was there, I questioned myself 'who the fuck decorated his handstones'.
As I walked out of the bathroom I stumbled upon a man taller than me. He stood tall, his presence impossible to ignore, his hair was pushed back with… maybe wax? His green eyes are intense and shifting from emerald to deep forest whenever it moves watching me.
"Watch it." I said, then walked past him. Something with his aura makes me drawn to him, there's something with him that I like- oh, that's crazy. I only bumped into him. Or was it just his manly scent?
"Excuse me young lady,." I looked behind me as I saw him pointing something at the floor. When I looked where he was pointing suddenly his pointing fingers changed into middle fingers. "You dropped your attitude."
I scoffed, "Excuse me?" Now he's playing with me, I like it even more. "You have blood on your shirt, are you alright?" He pointed at his collar as I looked at my collar. Oh shit. Evidence. I playfully rolled my eyes "Nose bleed."
I walked past him once more to reach the tissue behind him. I grabbed a piece, dampened it, and gently dabbed it on my collar, hoping it would help reduce the stain.
Once I was done, I walked to him and observed every detailed structure of his godly face.
I didn't understand why, but suddenly, the words I never thought I'd say just slipped out of my mouth.
"You wanna fuck?"
