The voices around him faded and his attention drifted to the ball in his hand as he caught and threw it rhythmically ignoring everything, everyone and every action around him his memory took the whole of him and he let out a breath he didn't know he was holding; it was approximately 50 years ago humanly speaking he would have been five he was on the bed his gaze fixed on his dad as he went about in his room placing random object in a bag he was definitely in haste and he seemed even paler than normal cold sweat broke out from his forehead and he was giving periodic glance to his son
"Pa..are we going somewhere,to uncle?"kharon had asked trying to understand what was going on
"Kharon lets go"his dad said a bit tempered.
He pulled his son up and took him to the car packed outside the mansion it was the earliest version of the Mercedes
"Philip take kharon to my brother and make sure to explain everything to him"kharon's dad said in a guttural voice before turning to face his boy
"Pa aren't you coming"kharon asked a bit confused on why his dad didn't come in with him
"Hey..have this"his dad said handing him a blue ball "keep it safe okay I promise to come back during winter and explain everything okay"his dad said trying to keep his composure in order not scare his ridiculously smart son
"Promise?"kharon said with a glimmering eyes tears filling them up
"I'll try"his dad said and waved at his son till they were out of sigh with a deep breath he sighed in relief
"I kept our son Mira I'll join you soon"his dad said with a faint smile as he heard the sound of the villagers as they approached
Flash back over
"Mr kharon"A young man said to the young boy before him that seemed completely lost and confused
"Dismissed"kharon said coldly and got up heading straight to the door totally ignoring the fact that the man standing in front of him had put so much work in the presentation going on but the fact remains, kharon absence means a no approval

"You girls be careful okay?"Mrs Lisa yelled from the porch to the three girls galloping towards her van
"We promise"Hazel yelled back from the van before joining the girls to shriek in excitement as they started th car to the beach
"I so fucking love this song"Miranda said in exhilaration as scarlet tune the volume
"What do you expect from a world class artist like Ed Sheeran"Hazel said with a smile and mimed with the song Till they stopped at the beach
"Are you sure about this hazel surfing can be really tricky"scarlet said as they descended from the van
"Of course it's now or never literally cause mom won't give another opportunity and like the say when an opportunity comes your way you grab it by its fucking ass"Hazel obviously over excited
"No one ever say that"Miranda said and they laughed
"Whatever but ain't backing down yet"Hazel said and brought out her surfing board
"Last one to the beach gets to pick out our costume for Halloween"scarlet said and they raced down in their bikinis like kids

"Not only are you annoying, you are also annoying "Orion kharon's friend yelled from the other end of the call
"Come on it's just taking the weekend besides Jacob can handle the rest"kharon said and packed his car next to a blue van
"if uncle Mat were alive you would be in so much trouble the poor guy put so much effort in the presentation but you just dismiss it"Orion said clearly annoyed with his best friend action
"I can fucking do whatever I want and clearly I don't like him much"kharon said calmly holding his phone, baseball cap and a bottle of water at hand
"You don't like anybody you just tolerate them"Orion said obviously frustrated
"True and lastly don't call me for the rest of the weekend "kharon said wearing the baseball cap and nose mask to avoid paparazzi
"You know the humans say something about respect I don't know if you've ever heard of it"Orion said and kharon chuckled
"You do know I'm older than all the board member you know what cut the crap"kharon said and hung up after which he took a soft gel pill to make his craving decrease one look at those pesky humans and he could go savage for their blood
After walking through the crowd in the beach he found a quiet spot and sat down stairring at the sea where the sky touched this vast sea until he noticed someone drowning somewhere far from shore but with the look of things he was the only one noticing it the since had long gone down and the stars and moon were the only one lighting up the beach
He tried looking away,he tried pretending not to hear her but the more he tried ignoring the more he wanted to go to her she was literally screaming on top of her lungs for help but she was far from shore and he could hear her only because of his sharp hearing ability and night vision sight
"Damn it"kharon yelled and dived into the sea swimming in an incredible speed to the unconscious lady after which he brought her back to shore, seeing her pale face and her number facial expression he couldn't help but admire her beauty
"Dummy give her CPR before she dies"kharon's subconscious yelled and kharon quickly positioned her head and place both hands on her chest region giving slight compression and intermedially blowing Air into her lungs . After many trials she coughed out water and inhaled and exhaled deeply bringing a smile on kharon's relieved face
"Hazel!"Hazel friends yelled when they spotted her snuggling with a stranger her bikini sticked to her body and she looked pale and weak
"What kind of idiot goes to the beach without knowing how to swim"kharon whisper yelled at her as she tried finding warmth on his body but he Chuckled
"Hazel are you alright? what happened to her sir"scarlet questioned half panicking
"Pesky humans"kharon said placing Hazel gently on the ground before walking out on Miranda and scarlet as they rushed to Hazel side.
