A dungeon that appeared in Delofin.
We were standing in front of it with other adventurers.
To summarize the dungeons in the game.
Monsters come out.
Go get it.
Get reward.
Repeat ad infinitum.
From my research, it's not much different now. You can earn money by going to dungeons and selling the gems and byproducts that monsters drop.
There was a profession of adventurers who made a living killing monsters, and you had to join an adventurer's guild to sell your wares.
"I joined a long time ago.
Of course, I can't use magic, and I can't wield a sword. I could barely win a life-and-death fight with a single goblin.
Nevertheless, the reason for wearing an adventurer's outfit is to enter dungeons. Unlike in the game, you have to be a Templar, Mage, Adventurer, or Cleric to enter a dungeon. You have to be one of those four.
It's no longer a game where you can have your slaves auto-fight for you.
"If you do something wrong, you'll get hurt or killed.
Instead of being healed over time or with healing, they might be permanently maimed. How could we send our cute little slaves to such a place?
I'll join them and utilize all the information, item shops, and other means at my disposal.
"This dungeon is rated F to G for danger. All are welcome to enter."
A guild staff member measuring the danger level of the dungeon in Madoguro and assigning a rating.
If the difficulty is low, the monsters are weaker and it's not as easy to earn money, so the adventurers who wanted to take part in the cognitive dungeon are gone, leaving only newbies.
'Thank goodness.
If I had to compete, it would have been a headache, and I'd have to pay a lot of money to get the reward I wanted.
Of course, it's too soon to rest easy. There are still adventurers left.
"Miss Mirabelle, let's get going."
"Yes."
We stepped beyond the dungeon, and a sense of floatiness washed over me.
When I woke up, instead of a city, I found myself in a dark, lightless cavern, with a wall behind me.
To escape, I need to find a transmutation stone somewhere in the dungeon or use one of the bosses' transmutation stones.
I turned on the portable magic lantern I'd bought earlier.
"I can do this with magic."
"No, I'll do this, Miss Mirabelle, and you can focus on the combat."
I should have gone all out. Mirabelle is the only one who can fight down to combat. I need to create an environment where she can give her full attention to the fight.
It's the least I can do to catch the bus.
"Let's go."
We began to make our way through the dark caverns.
The dungeon's layout is a maze.
It's a complete mystery to me since I only appeared today.
For the record, I don't know, it's not an RPG, and there's no way Tycoon would detail the geography of a dungeon.
The exploration is a turn-based 2D side-scroller, and my experience of thousands of auto-battles is useless.
If there's one thing that's consistent.
"Turn right."
The only real useful feature besides the fact that the characters are realistic. There's an item shop.
A shop that sells items that are useful in all kinds of situations, not just slave training. I bought one item before entering the dungeon.
[Dungeon Map]
Dungeon map.
Very simple explanation.
When you enter the dungeon, the parchment shows you the structure and geography of the dungeon.
It's only 500 points, but it's very useful in this situation. Only you will know the way to the dungeon.
Note that you can't sell it. Shop items are usually one-time use.
"That's great, master."
"Haha, thank you."
Mirabelle gives you a rare look of respect, which is always welcome. Send them often.
With the power of the map at our backs, we made straight ahead, never once encountering a dead end. Then Mirabelle waved a stop sign at me.
"Hold on, there's a beast up ahead."
The first monster we encountered after entering the dungeon.
Kerrrrr.
It was a green, squishy monster, a goblin. In fantasy worlds like video games and webcomics, it's the monster that starts the race, hand in hand with the slime.
"Can you catch it?"
"Of course."
Mirabelle replied confidently and aimed her Celestial Oath. A magical arrow of indigo light, energized by Mirabelle's magic, struck the goblin in the head.
Ouch.
A grotesque sight, blood and gore splattering everywhere.
Luckily, it was gross, but I didn't vomit or anything, and it's times like this that I'm grateful to have synchronized with Karami's soul.
We encountered a few more goblins after that, and each time Mirabelle disintegrated them with her magic.
We didn't pick up any gems.
Mirabelle is still learning to control her powers, so she smashed the gemstone.
Well, it doesn't really matter. I don't need the money right now, and the goblin gem won't make me much money, so I'd rather raise a slave and free him.
'So easy.
It is. I'm at the level of an SSR character in the first stage. If it's hard, that's weird.
As I walked, I came to a small hollow.
It was a rest stop.
"Miss Mirabelle, do you need a break?"
"Don't worry, master, I'm fine. Keep going."
"No, I'm tired, please take it easy."
"...."
Why, what, why.
Walking through a cave, in a thin air cave, in this frail body, is not easy.
In the end, we decided to rest.
It's a good thing I'm a master.
A slave would have been beaten with a cane.
The clean-looking stream was gurgling, but we didn't need to drink from it. We have a wizard in our party.
I quenched my thirst with water made from Mirabelle and washed my sticky hands.
I rested a bit before pushing forward again. I shared the information with Mirabelle.
"As far as I can tell, there are only goblins in this dungeon. It's probably a goblin lair."
Mirabelle nodded.
Like she knew that.
I was about to add an explanation when she didn't realize it. Mirabelle interrupted me.
"I sense an evil force deep in the cave. I think it's a magical being."
Oh?
She can sense this?
I was stunned for a moment. As Mirabelle had guessed, the dungeon boss was a spell-casting goblin. It's a Goblin Shaman. The objective is a skillbook that drops at a low chance if you kill him.
"I see, that's very useful information."
Mirabelle smiled a little at my compliment.
Just then, a party entered the rest area from a different path than the one we had come from.
"Don't be scared of the avant-garde, you almost got us all killed!"
"You screaming at me doesn't scare me!"
Sharp words were exchanged back and forth.
A mixed party of two men and two women. Newbie adventurers who looked to be around Mirabelle's age.
They chattered loudly enough to echo through the halls, and soon made eye contact with me.
"What, there's another party? I thought we were the first."
"That's because you're being a dick!"
"What's with all the arguing earlier, is it your day?"
"What?!"
Ugh, loud.
Not good for the mood. We need to show Mirabelle only good things.
"Haha, everyone seems to be getting along, Miss Mirabelle, why don't we get out of the way?"
"Okay."
We turned to go back on our way.
"Wait, take me with you!"
A boy carrying a wooden shield and a short sword approached us with a string of nonsense.
Mirabelle, wary of his approach, pointed her staff at him. Flinching, the adventurer boy kept his distance, unable to get any closer.
"What do you mean, you want me to take you?"
"I see you're a wizard and a scout...? Anyway, you don't look like you've got any power, so I'll take you with me. I'll take the charge."
The boy who said that stares at Mirabelle, averts his gaze for a moment, then looks back at her, his cheeks flushing red.
"How dare this hillbilly woodpecker molest our daughter?
I'm about to say something when the adventurer girl, who seems to be the leader of the party, shouts instead.
"Hey, what kind of nonsense are you talking about? What are we supposed to do if the dislocation falls out?"
"You guys keep complaining, you should take this opportunity to realize how valuable I am."
"No, we don't want to go with you.
I'm going to do all the drumming and shouting by myself.
Mirabelle looks at me like, "Shall we do it, Master?" Arthur.
I shove the boy in the back, who's now confronting his companion.
"Huh?"
The boy stumbled and floundered, finally falling flat on his face in front of the girl. The boy looked at us with the eyes of someone who had been betrayed.
Between him and us, an earth wall crashes down. It rose up and blocked our view. It was Mirabelle's magic.
"You're behind!"
"Ugh! Now, wait?"
And the sound of a beating.
A punishment for abandoning the party in a life-or-death dungeon. Take it sweet.
"Let's go."
I had Mirabelle block all paths to the boss's chamber, just in case the scroll was taken.
I encountered more goblin hordes, but again, the encounters were too one-sided to be called battles.
Finally, I reached the boss room.
As expected, the boss room has a Goblin Shaman.
A handful of normal goblins.
And.
"Huh?
Two hop goblins.
