Chapter 9 - chapter 9

*Next Day*

*Kenichi's POV*

Well, there's nothing special to highlight about what happened the next day, I just got up much earlier than I usually do, had breakfast and went for a run while enjoying the morning breeze, although I had a physique far superior to most people I was a complete amateur when it came to training, so I used my ability and was able to see all the different types of training, both physical and muscular, what I didn't expect was to receive two new rewards so early in the morning.

*You managed to learn all the body training techniques*

You received: Special Underground Training Room 2

---------------------------------------------------------

*You managed to run 10 Kilometers without stopping even once*

You received: Quicksilver

---------------------------------------------------------

Name: Special Underground Training Room 2

Rank: UR (Ultra Rare)

Origin: The Achievement System

Description: It is an upgrade for the Special Training Room, this upgrade includes a gravity increase system of up to X10 times

---------------------------------------------------------

Name: Quicksilver

Rank: R (Rare)

Origin: Solo Leveling

Description: It is a speed skill. This skill allows the user to increase their speed by 30% for one minute. Speed increases as the host levels up

Important: Generally this ability consumes mana, but since the host doesn't have any, it will consume stamina at a high rate

The rewards weren't that great, but any improvement was welcome no matter how small, in fact now the training room had become like the gravity boosting room Goku and Vegeta trained in in Dragon Ball Z. And the Quicksilver ability, although simple, could be quite useful during a fight, increasing speed so much during a fight could catch anyone off guard.

Kenichi: (Ever since I broke free from the world's control, my only thought has been fighting, but now that I think about it, although in To Love-Ru there were aliens and assassins, in the end they didn't appear in every chapter, they only appeared from time to time, so as long as I don't attract too much attention I shouldn't fight so often... Maybe I'm being naive, but it's not good to be thinking about fighting all the time, I'm not like the characters in Baki who only dedicate themselves to fighting, I have to think about my future, in the end this training is to protect myself in case some lunatic tries to attack me one day... Although I can't help but feel excited at the idea of going to Toriko's world or One Piece's, and that's even though they are much more dangerous worlds than this one, I'm becoming more and more of a fighting maniac)

*1 Hour Later*

After running for another hour around the neighborhood and doing a few warm-ups, I quickly headed to the training room, When I checked it carefully I realized that on one of the walls there was a touch panel that showed me the options to increase gravity, it was the same as the system description, just to test it I increased gravity X2.

I immediately realized how stupid I was, I almost made the same mistake as Goku, the one when he was training and the gravity suddenly increased due to a mistake and he ended up crushed by gravity while he was giving his best effort to get to the machine and turn it off, luckily for me I only increased it X2, when it happened to Goku the gravity was 100 times greater than on Earth, although I felt my body incredibly heavy to the point that taking a single step was complicated I managed to take a few steps around the room before turning it off.

This made it clear that my body is not yet ready to use gravity, but it is not impossible either, at least I was able to withstand gravity X2 for a few minutes.

For the next 5 hours I was immersed in doing all different types of exercise to the maximum extent that my body could do.

First I started doing bench press, I quickly realized that I was considering my training like everyone else's, but my body is much stronger than an average person's, so I have to start with much more weight for the training to be effective. In the end I kept lifting 300 kg weights.

Although it didn't weigh that much and I was still quite far from the world record, but rushing won't bring anything good, first I have to get my body used to the training, for now this is a good start.

My routine remained the same without changes until lunchtime, I did everything, squats, push-ups, sit-ups, I even used some of the training machines.

After an amazing lunch prepared with the techniques of the world of Shokugeki no Souma and an overwhelming dessert made of rainbow fruit, I really underestimated the delicious taste of that fruit, it was on a completely different level than any other food I have ever eaten, just one bite and the flavor changed four times inside my mouth, neither the sweetness of hundreds of ripe mangoes condensed, nor lemons compare to the explosion of acidity I felt, the fifth taste had the aroma of sweet chestnuts, it was a collection of flavors in a single bite, and to finish the sixth taste felt like an explosion that went down my throat.

When I saw this scene I thought Toriko was exaggerating, but I see that I was wrong, learning the cooking techniques from the world of Shokugeki no Souma was the right decision, at my current level I don't see myself cooking at the same level as Toriko's cooks, at most I could copy Komatsu's techniques when the story was just beginning, but the skills of the best chefs in that world are far beyond my current capabilities.

I'm pretty sure my strength increased slightly and I also felt full of energy, it's like I've recovered all the stamina I consumed from training, honestly the food in Toriko's world is serious business, I'm more and more tempted to leave aside all the To Love-Ru shit and go to Toriko's world, but unfortunately I can't do that.

The rest of the afternoon went by the same as in the morning, I did several other exercises, for today it's just going to be that, the real training is going to start tomorrow, for now I'm just getting my body used to it so I don't hurt myself in the future.

I even hit a bag with boxing gloves for almost a whole hour, it was quite useful that the things I broke repaired themselves, I don't mean to brag but I still don't control my strength well and by mistake I broke several bags.

Until finally nightfall arrived, after taking a nice bath, I prepared dinner, not forgetting to prepare a nice dessert made from the delicious rainbow fruit. In fact, I am completely sure that I am looking forward to eating dessert more than dinner, and it is not just because of the taste, after this second time I realized that eating fruit after training is quite effective for my body, just thinking about the effect it will have when I have the gourmet cells excites me quite a bit.

But leaving all that aside, it is already eight in the evening, it is still quite early, so I decided to continue with my next plan for the day. The long-awaited moment has finally arrived when I will write my own light novel.

For now I will only write two chapters and I will upload them to ***, which is a website for publishing web novels for amateurs. If I manage to keep my novel as the first in popularity, it is possible that some publisher will contact me to publish it as a light novel.

Kenichi: "The question now is, what novel should I write?"

Ideally, I would write a fantasy or futuristic novel, but at the moment, since I don't know what fictions exist in this world in reality, I can't touch on stories about students. What if I end up writing a story about someone who exists and they end up suing me?

If I follow the cliché, I should write an Isekai story, but the problem is that in this world that is very fashionable, almost all recent novels are about that, although most of them have a stupid story, they mainly seem like stories made by little kids or by degenerates, I guess that is what you would expect from a world where mainly perverted things always happen, even that program of that girl Kyouko, even though it is a program for people of all ages, they always show perverted things, if this had been one of those worlds that I saw, they would have been sued a long time ago for showing those things in children's time.

It doesn't necessarily have to be an Isekai either, there are fantasy stories that deal with medieval worlds with magic and swords.

After thinking about it for quite a while, and discarding several options, I decided that the first novel I was going to write was going to be Sword Art Online, a story that mixes both futurism and fantasy, although there are several other stories that are better, most are more suitable to be made as manga, such as Fairy Tail, Bleach or One Piece.

I remember that Swor Art Online (SAO) is a fairly popular light novel that was adapted into an anime and even had movies and several RPG games.

The story takes place in the year 2022, when a virtual reality massively multiplayer online role-playing game VRMMORPG called "Sword Art Online" has just been released. There, players can enter a world called Aincrad and control their avatars just as they would with their real bodies by means of the NerveGear, a virtual reality headset capable of stimulating their five senses through their brains. However, after entering the first day, the players realize that they cannot exit the game; shortly after, SAO's creator, Kayaba Akihiko, appears and informs them that if they die in the virtual world, they will also die in the real world, as well as revealing that in order to exit the game, they must first overcome the game's hundred floors. As the players try to cope with their situation, the protagonist Kirigaya Kazuto (Kirito) and the heroine Yuuki Asuna, are determined to win and be free.

In my personal opinion, it is a very good story, although after the first arc the story fell a bit off, that does not mean that it is a very innovative story, especially in a world like this where entertainment is so poor.

Well, even though I said I was going to write the SAO novel, I didn't mean that I was going to copy and paste it just like that, obviously I'm going to change several things, one of the most important is that I'm going to extend the story of the first game a little more.

The story of SAO revolves around virtual reality games, apart from the first game the protagonist Kirigaya Kazuto aka Kirito, enters several other games in which he has to solve various problems that can cause great impacts on his life and on reality, a good example is the first game which was practically a survival game.

The novel had several arcs, but definitely the best one was the first one, so I intend to extend the story more at the beginning, the good thing is that I have enough material to use, I also want to go deeper into Kirito's relationship with Asuna, I think their relationship progressed too quickly, only a few chapters passed and they were already living a life like newlyweds.

Kenichi: "Now that I think about it… Just writing the story isn't going to be enough, one of the biggest draws of light novels are the illustrations, no one in their right mind is going to want to buy a book that has a blank cover, in fact, that's one of the biggest problems that light novels in this world have"

Unlike other worlds, this one is very backward in many things, in anime culture this can be seen in light novels, even though there are several good novels they are usually ignored for not having any visual appeal, that's why it's not unusual for several writers to stop writing sequels and always leave them abandoned in the first volumes, this is not a joke, and it's not just light novels, almost all literary books are in decline, that's why I plan to monopolize entertainment in Japan in the future… Well, this idea is for the distant future.

Kenichi: "Well, for now there is no point in thinking about that, and it is impossible for me to do that alone, at some point I will have to need help, like mangakas who usually have assistants who help them advance faster in their works"

After stopping thinking about ridiculous things, I started writing the first chapter of SAO, honestly the beginning was so good that I don't think I have to change anything. Unexpectedly it only took me 15 minutes to write the first two chapters, as it was still early I decided to keep writing. In the end after an hour I already had 10 chapters written, unlike the original novel, I delved a little deeper into Kirito's story and his experience as a Beta Tester.

In the history of SAO, Beta Testers are people who have been lucky enough to test the beta version of a video game such as VRMMORPG. In the case of SAO, 1000 players had the opportunity to test the game before it was officially released.

The other SAO players had a strong resentment towards the Beta Testers since they had exclusive knowledge of the beta phase; therefore, they had a much greater advantage than the other 9000 normal players because they knew the skills and weapons of the monsters and even the bosses and therefore it would be much easier for them to survive longer in the game.

Since it suddenly became a survival game, it was obvious that some discontent would occur, although it was unfounded. Although it is true that the Beta Testers had an advantage by having prior knowledge about the game, that did not mean that they were better players than the rest. In fact, Kirito himself mentioned that most of them were nothing more than newbies. In addition, at the beginning of the game, they were the ones who distributed the strategy guide by area to help those who had no prior knowledge to survive.

In the end it's only mentioned in the story that Kirito was the Beta Tester who got the furthest in the trial version, but it never went into much depth about what his experience or his life was like before entering SAO, if I had to give an example, my story is a bit similar to Sword Art Online Progressive, which is a reboot of the Aincrad arc starting a few days before the clearing of Floor 1, you could say it's a story that tells in a more complete way what happened during the three years that the characters were trapped in SAO.

Anyway, after continuing to write, I ended up getting immersed, by the time I realized it was already quite late and I had already written more than 40 chapters, enough material for almost two volumes of a light novel, after a quick review I felt quite satisfied with the result, I filled in several gaps in the story and went a little deeper into the background of the secondary characters, also the Aincrad arc originally only had two volumes, but I already have that same amount and still have a lot more material left, it is possible that I can extend the first arc until I have at least five or six volumes.

After finishing my writing, I proceeded to create an account on Kakuyomu and uploaded the first five chapters, with the amount I wrote I do not have to worry about writing new chapters for several days, also since I already have the entire plot of SAO in my mind and I have a body superior to that of other people, my writing speed is much higher than that of other writers.

And just when I finished uploading the two chapters I was surprised to receive two new notifications from the system.

*You managed to write your first Web Novel*

You received: Elucidator

---------------------------------------------------------

*You managed to publish your first Novel on the Kakuyomu platform*

You received: Dark Repulser

---------------------------------------------------------

When I read the rewards I couldn't help but be stunned for a while, and of course, although I already knew that the system was quite generous with the rewards for achievements, but still, I thought that by writing I would receive rewards related to writing, I never thought that instead I would receive rewards related to the story I was writing.

Also, they weren't ordinary rewards, they were the two main swords that Kirito used in SAO, while it is true that they weren't the strongest swords in history, that didn't mean that they were two of the strongest weapons in SAO.

After my initial surprise, I quickly started to review the description of the rewards.

Name: Elucidator

Rank: UR (Ultra Rare)

Origin: Sword Art Online

Description: It is a sword introduced in the game Sword Art Online, this is a drop left by a demonic creature of the boss type on the 50th floor of Aincrad, it is an almost indestructible sword in addition to not requiring any maintenance, it also increases the strength and agility of the host

Important: Thanks to the system modifications, the Elucidator sword can use all of SAO's one-handed sword skills in reality .

I stared like an idiot for several seconds at the description, but honestly, can anyone blame me, I'm also a boy in my early teens, obviously things like fantasy swords and magic excite me, and even more so if it's one of the iconic Sword Art Online swords.

After calming down a bit I accepted the reward and after the usual golden glow what appeared in front of me was a straight one-handed sword with a flat black blade and a thin white edge. The cylindrical handle was also black and connected to the blade by two different pieces, one of them resembling a third of a circle with spikes sticking out, and the other piece is L-shaped, by its length I can see that it must measure 1.20 mt and it was also accompanied by an elegant black sheath.

Elucidator

Long Sword / One Hand

Range: Short

Type: Slash

Attack: 700

Durability: 1350

Weight: 2 Kg

Agility: +28

Strength: +48

When I held it I couldn't help but be fascinated, it didn't feel like any cutting object I've ever held before in my life, in fact, I felt that even without using any sword technique I could easily cut anything, and also, I was surprised to see a small transparent panel next to the sword, it was similar to the one in the SAO novel, it showed me the sword's stats. Wanting to check something I opened my stats and clearly both my strength and agility went up the moment I held the sword, this was quite similar to RPGs.

I got excited and went down to the training room and started doing various sword moves, at first I just waved my sword normally, but thanks to my knowledge of SAO I was also able to replicate the sword techniques, well, although I say that they weren't really complicated, most of them just consist of waving the sword in a specific way, it's not rocket science.

I was even able to easily perform high level moves like Horizontal Square or Vertical Square, I think I'm starting to understand why Kirito likes VR games so much, performing these sword techniques feels great, now I just need enemies to use them on.

Kenichi: "Now I just need to see the other sword… I have to admit that I am very eager to use the two swords together"

Name: Dark Repulser

Rank: UR (Ultra Rare)

Origin: Sword Art Online

Description: It is a sword introduced in the Sword Art Online game, created by the blacksmith Lisbeth with a crystallite ingot obtained through the White Dragon quest, like Elucidator it is a nearly indestructible sword and does not require maintenance either.

Important: Thanks to system modifications, the Dark Repulser sword can use all of SAO's one-handed sword skills in reality .

The instant I finished reading the description, a straight one-handed sword with a light blue-green blade and a dark blue cylindrical hilt appeared in my left hand. The part that connects the blade to the handle contains a small oval in the center and two sharp spikes in a perpendicular position. The blade is narrow at the tip and ends in a sort of rhombus. And like Elucidator it also had an elegant black sheath.

Dark Repulser

Longsword / One hand

Range: Short

Type: Slash

Attack: 680 / 700

Durability: 1200

Weight: 1.5 Kg

Agility: +12

Strength: +52

From its stats you could see that it was just a little weaker than Elucidator, it had less durability and also weighed less, if there was something in which it surpassed it was in the amount of strength it gave me.

I used it for a while and I realized that it was much easier to use than Elucidator, maybe it was because of the shape it was given, Dark Repulser was more focused on stab attacks.

I spent several hours swinging my swords, but no matter what I did I couldn't replicate Kirito's dual sword technique. In fact, I think I underestimated him a bit. Normal SAO techniques are simple, but Kirito's dual sword is a unique ability granted to the fastest.

Kirito's dual sword technique was not simple at all. He used one to attack and one to defend. It was an uncommon style, requiring equal amounts of strength in both arms. Not only that, but the mind had to be perfectly focused and the body precisely coordinated for the extra sword to become an advantage and not a disadvantage. The slightest hesitation or delay would leave a vital opening for the opponent to exploit.

The difficulty and discipline required to master such a style was immense, and that was why so few attempted to use this style, let alone dared to try it in combat. Even then, it was usually attempted with a long and a short sword to avoid the possibility of the two blades colliding.

In fact, there is another light novel called Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, in which the protagonist uses a style similar to Kirito's, but unlike him, he uses a long and a short sword, making it clear that Kirito defied all expectations, brandishing his dual swords in a perfect sequence of attack and defense.

Although we must give him credit, we must not forget that the only reason he was able to do it is because he was in a game, in reality that technique should be impossible to replicate, or at least it should be, but since I have the system I am not someone normal either, now I am as tricky as Kirito so even if it is difficult at first I am sure that I will be able to do it successfully.

I practiced countless times in the short time since I started, before I knew it it was already dawn but that didn't stop me from continuing, if I had to give an example it's like I was in a trance.

Until after 6 hours of pure training without rest, I was finally able to do it perfectly. I think this is the first time in my life that I feel so accomplished, I got so excited that I even shouted the name of Kirito's iconic movement.

Kenichi: "STARBURST STREAM!!!"

As if responding to my shout, both swords lit up with a sky-blue glow and quickly like a flash I made 16 cuts almost instantly, not feeling satisfied I continued to launch cut after cut, I even lost count of how many times I did it, I stopped only when my arms started to burn.

Who would have thought that the Hanma blood was not going to be enough, in the end I had to rely on my Strong Shoulders Quirk to be able to use it well, not even my increased strength and agility were enough, but I am satisfied with the result, I do not mean to brag but I am pretty sure that I surpassed Kirito's original technique.

In the light novel, Starburst Stream was a sword skill that consisted of 16 continuous slashes, while in the anime it was around 20, although at one point in the anime, Agil mentioned that Kirito managed to perform 50 continuous slashes, an amount that greatly exceeded the number of slashes designated by the skill.

To prove that I was successful, I put my cell phone in a corner to record myself… And I have to admit that I was quite surprised by what I saw in the recording… I surpassed Kirito's Starburst Stream by far, both my speed and my precision were far superior, not even with my enhanced vision I could see exactly how many slashes I made, but I'm sure it was much more than 50, I would dare say that this is not Kirito's technique, this is definitely an improved version… This is my own Starburst Stream.

When I realized that, I couldn't help but feel happy, although in terms of power level I still don't even come close to Lala's father, but I'm definitely growing, I'm really changing my destiny, I'm no longer the protagonist's perverted friend, now I finally have control of my own life and I can do whatever I want with it.

Kenichi: "Now that I think about it, during training I received more rewards that I haven't checked yet, I was so immersed in mastering dual wielding that I ignored it."
