POV:Orin Peake
-It's been 6 years since I came to this world. Long time, I know. Not a good time, definetly. I spent my time either reading books or bothering my subjects in pursuit of emotion but to noones' avail my pursuit was unsuccessful.
My genetics are top 1% level thanks to the eugenics program my house ran for a better patriarch. Im handsome(in a manly way), tall and bulky. I have a feeling that my house is more like a corperarion than a proper family that runs a business or is a landlord.
Speaking of genetics, them targs, starks and baratheons have some godly drop of blood in their veins. Not a single one generation hadn't had someone who couldn't use aura in their family tree( at least the main one) even if it isn't guaranteed to have perfect compatibility since the fetus has a chance picking up the unwanted genes of faulty ancestors however it is still a massive(ninja?)
advantage to have a probability at perfect synchronization.
On the other hand the economic side is just f*cked. Because the common people have no chance at uprisings the upper class exploits the lower in hierarchy like a slave even though it is prohibited. Economic growth is directly related to proper distribution of recources and some group of people are reaping all the benefits while slaving away the masses, so, yeah this sh*t will fall in on itself in time as the "pure" blood dilutes over time. I don't care though, since that will happen in at least a thousand years and I'm one of the people reaping the rewards.
As I was thinking about the political and economic states of the world like the "prince" aka karate kid. The instructor came over and started teaching me the basics of swordsmanship and aura manipulation(he's a second son of a vassal). Whereas in a typical fanfic they start the greeting by bumping the mc's head with their fists this world's ethics is quite strict.
-End of the day
I understood what the unending soul meant. It's just infinite soul power. Whereas normal knights use 80% of their aura(soul power) in a battle and gradually regenerate it trough meditation or some shady way(btw if the knight completely exhausts their reserves they're f*cked) I could use it infinitely and face no repercussions, its probably my best pull.
I also picked up the sword pretty quickly, I didn't beat my instructor the first time I picked up a sword like Arthur Dayne but not far off. I could surpass my instructor in 2 to 3 weeks in pure swordsmanship alone.
Also pushing myself to the limit by using/emmitting as much aura as possible forcefully helps me push my efficiency coefficient so i made it my daily routine to push myself without restraining my body from time to time.
