A woman's shriek scream echoed in the house as she kept crying, blood was everywhere and all the woman could see was red everywhere she turned to "no..no th...this isn't happening..NO!!!" She screamed as she jolted from the bed with eyes wide.
Panting heavily Jade touched her chest to calm her heart that was beating erratically and steady her breath. Beads of sweat were all over her forehead as she recalled those events that kept haunting her sleep since that night. Closing her eyes trying to dispel them she flashed it open again seeing the same scene.
She chuckled ironically to herself wondering how she hadn't gone mad all these while "monster" she whispered to herself as her only explanation, she was a bloody monster who destroyed her family and... Shaking her head she stood up from the bed and walked to her working table pouring for herself a glass of...alcohol she turned to the window and gulped it down hurriedly her bright blue eyes staring at the city.
It looked so peaceful, everyone was asleep and here she was, awake knowing she wont be able to close her eyes again tonight. Glancing at the clock she saw it was 3 in the morning, she sighed and returned to her desk, pouring herself more glasses of alcohol and lighting a cigarette she decided to do some paperwork to pass time.

It was 7 in the morning when Jade woke up again, seeing she had fallen asleep dead drunk and high, she got up and decided to freshen up before taking a hangover soup. Wearing a black slack with a red high neck shirt, her golden hair was let to fall in waves and natural looking makeup that blended with her skin all the while hiding her dark eyebags, she looked exactly like the domineering ceo she was.
As she stepped downstairs to the dining area she heard her best friend sheila's voice as she was rambling off to her servants "i told you to hide her cigarettes right how come she's still smoking" "we're sorry ma'am, we always try to prevent her from smoking but the nights are really hard for us, we always keep tabs on her and don't know when the miss even buys them" they said heads low apologetically.
Sheila sighed as she pressed the space between her brows and turned to face Jade who just walked in "arya why'd you hate me so much huh..do you want me to turn old from all these wrinkles i get constantly worrying about you" she queried and arya just stared blankly at her.
Pulled up a chair and sat down "you know i cant sleep properly sis Lin Ai" she said after taking the first sip of her hangover soup.
Sheila sighed again as she sat down next to her "I know that, i didn't prevent you from drinking since you said you don't want to be dependent on sleeping pills but cigarettes, no arya i wont allow...you promised" she told her exasperatedly "Im having the servants do a thorough cleaning of your room, no more smoking lil missy" she said sounding like her elder sis she really was and when Jade kept quiet sheila knew that was her giving her consent and she immediately motioned the servants to get to work
"Now i came here cause i found your perfect man Ms Jade" she said switching from caring elder sister to a professional PA and Jade turned to stare at her urging her to continue talking.
