Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Squish

A bolt of pleasure shot through my body. I let out a moan I didn't even know I could make. I saw him blush, but his face wore a lascivious smile. With the strongest push I could manage I hurl him off me.

"What the hell?" I shouted, my arms instinctively covering my chest. "Why did you squeeze them twice?"

The guy had already gotten to his feet. He brushed off his jacket. A sword seethed over his shoulder. The leather on its hilt was so worn that I could see the wood underneath. The guy let out a laugh.

"So, you're saying I could squeeze once?" He said he reached his hand down to help me up. I glanced around. Only some people had stopped and stared at the whole thing. Blushing, I took his hand. With a sudden shock of strength, he pulled me to my feet.

"I'm Hiro Saber, nice to meet you," he said.

"I am Rei Phoenix," I said shyly.

"Oh, my Sol. My life as a Magus starts with squishing the boobs of the heiress of the Phoenix family."

"Hey! I didn't let you touch my boobs." I sniped back. The embarrassment forced me to straight past the shyness.

"Well, I don't want to be late. See you in class princess."

Before I could get in another word he rushed past me. I turned on my heels and balled my fists. Who did he think he was? Just because he is a protagonist doesn't give me the right to touch all my boobs.

"You damn idiot! I'll never forgive you!" I shouted back at me. More people turned their heads to see what they saw as the heiress of a supposedly high-ranking magic family being groped and moaning by some commoner.

Also, drawing eyes to the whole situation wasn't helping. I took two breast-jiggling breaths to calm down before matching my swaying hips to the golden dome. Lucky for me I could read the language this world used.

It kind of looked like Norse runes with more curves and dots but I could read it. I followed the signs to the new students. Dozens of students around me strode in different lines. People (teachers? Teaching assistants?) walked up and down the lines. Men wore elaborate robes of white and gold. Women wore something like a Halloween nun outfit.

Another student bounced anxiously. A girl with white hair in front of me looked around like a deer in hunting season. Her body seemed normal compared to my new one, but she was still drop-dead gorgeous by my shut-in standards.

"Excuse me, what's happening?" I said tapping the white-haired girl on the shoulder. She yelped and spun around.

"Oh, my sol! You're the daughter of the Phoenix family!" The girl almost screamed. "I'm surprised they're even making you take this. I guess the nobility want to be seen giving everyone a fair shot."

I just stared at her blankly. I had no idea what she was talking about, I didn't even pay attention to my world politics. I guess though not to be found out I would have to act the part of an heiress.

Images of blonde hair brats mocking their lesser filled my brain. I tried to filter out what often happens to these blonde bombshell brats after. I failed as I shivered and my knees buckled against my will as I banished the thoughts. I hated this body and apparently reacted to my thoughts differently to me.

"Oh, you're nervous as well! It good to know the blue bloods feel the same as me." The girl rambled. Not catching my true thoughts. "I'm sure you'll get a super good rank, I'm just hoping to get a mana rank C. By the way, my name is Mei, I'm going to be the first Magus in my family."

"That's rich." A male student cut in. He looked like a football player. Shocking blonde hair and tanned skin. His smile made my stomach turn. I had seen it plenty in my previous life before I was made to feel like trash. It was malice wrapped in a friend's smile.

"Why can't the commoners stay out of the Nobles business," he said. Mei went salient, her gaze turned towards the floor.

"And you," he pointed at me. "If you are so worried about being a magus, go get a husband and have children. Do what your body is made for."

I clenched my fist. If I had to count my blessings at least he was just being up front with hating me. It was kind of refreshing then people pretending to be your friend and wielding peer pressure like a slag hammer to my self-esteem.

But I wasn't me. I wasn't the loser who never had a girlfriend and would spend all night watching harem anime. I may not be the protagonist but am pretty rich.

"Um, who are you?" I said back. I tried to summon the spirit of every popular cheerleader character in my tone. It felt strange, my vocal cords felt both foreign and just right.

"I am Rin Jackalope. My family's magic outclasses any commoner magic with mana ranks. Surely you have heard of me?" He said, turning away from us, off in his little world.

"I've never heard of you," I said. This line was much easier to sell. I really hadn't heard of him.

His glace snapped back to me. I couldn't help but flinch a little. He was taller than me and probably knew how to fight. If this was to come to blows, I just hoped that my body remembered how to fight because I didn't.

"Leave her alone!" I heard a familiar voice shout. I turned and saw Hiro running over and placing himself in front of me. I saw Rin's face wrinkle in anger at the man standing in front of me.

"Don't get in the way of your betters' commoner," Rin spat back at Hiro. I want to tell him to get out of the way. That I could handle this, but I felt weakness sweep into my limbs.

"I don't care what you say, I'll go to dual you now," Hiro snapped back. Rin's stared in degust before matching away. Hiro let out a sigh before turning to me and flashing a dumb smile. I glared back at me.

"I didn't need your help idiot," I said to him. My face pouting.

"I'll keep that in mind princess, I'll see you after mana rankings," he said before leaving off to go to his line. Mei looked at me like I was some amazing statue (and with my figure I might as well of been).

"Who was that?" She asked.

"Just some stupid commoner," I muttered.

Soon I got to the front of the like and was whisked away into a small tent in the centre of what looked like a gym. Instead of lines to mark points, there were more esoteric lines with runes caved into the wood itself. There were a lot of tents set up in four rows. There were around twenty of them or so. Inside there was one of the nuns.

"Welcome Lady Phoenix. Please place your hand on the paper and please channel the mana," the nun said. I looked down at the paper. There was a clear circle, clearly where I needed to place my hand. Around it in blues were runes and geomatic patterns.

Placing my hand, I tried to ignore how sweaty my palms were. I had no idea how to channel mana. I barely had been in this body given to me by a twisted wish let alone how to do magic.

I thought about how all the anime I watched and games I played made mana water or electricity. I closed my eyes and imagined my arm as a river and my hand as a waterfall. A space between my boobs started to heat up. A bright little teased my closed eyelids. My arm beat hot and my hand fire. I slowly open my eyes.

Between my breasts, a flame burned softly. The paper itself changed and shifted. The runes and shapes started to swirl until they mimicked fire itself and the magic spilled out on the table. The nun let out a gasp and clapped her hands.

"That's enough now," she said. I clenched my fist, and the power stopped flowing. I couldn't help but stare in stunned silence at my own hand. I could tell I hadn't done anything amazing, but I did magic.

The fear and anxiety of this busty body faded. I had magic. I could do magic. The loser who spent all the time in his room, who only got average grades could change. Like my new name, I could rise from the ashes and become something.

"My lady, your mana rank is an S and, unsurprisingly, you have your family's magic." The nun explained handing me the paper. "Please take this and welcome to the Solar Academy of Magi. May you become a magus for the betterment of our world."

A roar screamed across the room. The tenet I was in was torn apart in a violent shock wave. My skirt was nearly torn from my body as I let out a scream. Suddenly everybody was open of the gym. At the centre of the explosion, in the row next to mine was Hiro. The nun in front of him is on her knees.

"T-this can't be," his nun muttered. "You got an SSS rank mana!"

Hiro stretched by his head. He looked awkward in front of everybody giving them a dumb smile. Like that made up for creating an explosion. I grabbed my paper and stormed out of the gym. Not really know what to do with it beyond that point but I fire had been lit in my chest.

Anger burned through my veins. I was meant to be the hero with overwhelming power. It's how these stories went. I don't exactly happen but when a normal dude gets transported to another world, he gets to be a hero, not his side piece.

Despite my wish being twisted I had something. I had magic, apparently only two ranks lower than his. I would become a hero even in this ridiculously sexed-up body. I wouldn't just be a tsundere or himedere for him to conquer. I would become a magus, whatever that was. I would figure out who or what did this to me.
