As soon as the button was pressed, Nora felt a surge of energy run through her body. She felt her mind expanding, and her senses becoming more acute.
And then, just as she was starting to feel like she was going to lose her mind, Nora saw a vision. It was a vision of a young girl, with long, curly brown hair and bright green eyes.
The girl was standing in a field, surrounded by wildflowers. She was laughing and playing, completely carefree.
As Nora watched the vision, she felt a sense of connection to the girl. She felt like she knew her, like she had seen her before.
And then, just as the vision was starting to fade, Nora heard a voice. It was a soft, gentle voice, and it seemed to be coming from inside her own mind.
"Nora," the voice said. "I'm so glad you're here. I've been waiting for you."
Nora's eyes widened in shock as she looked around the room. Who was speaking to her? And how were they speaking to her inside her own mind?
