Two days had passed since that day, once Dwelm learned that the perpetrator of the whole incident escaped he went for a drink, Bushy laid down in bed for the night and the next day while Lulu took a hobby of gardening, planting her seeds in the garden right outside Tenpao home before going to sleep. The leader himself spooked a certain cat sith and got himself a few restoration potions, and with the help of the Miro's pharmacists, he managed to put his arm back, which left a certain cat sleepless for that night.
The next day was followed by Lulu practicing her sword and Tenpao getting enough rest to get the jitzy effects of potion overload out of his body for then going to the adventurers guild and filing a report of finding the old royal laboratory. Dwelm was still out, so the rest of the day resumed sword training for the gnoll and rest for both Bushy and Tenpao.
The next-next day Bushy finally got out to her own house and Tenpao accepted that Lulu would just live there, a memorial was made after the oracles divined who was killed that day, and since there were no bodies their family instead buried items belonging to the deceased, Dwelm was there to pay respect to his drinking buddy.
And today... "Hey, when do you think they are coming back?" Lulu asked while throwing a bouncing ball at the wall and catching it back repeatedly, "Pampkin likes rest time but Pampkin also needs some dough." The gnoll sighed, catching the ball one last time. "Pampkin goin' to mess with the garden, later!" And with that, she was gone leaving Tenpao with his thoughts, he had pondered practicing with the sword once again to pass the time but it didn't bring back fond memories...
A sigh escaped the old man as his gaze was fixated on the ceiling, drifting among many memories that were no longer important to hold on.

Bushy got out of her bed, and a plan burned in her mind. "Doing all I could wasn't enough." She quickly jumped from bed and got her attires, kicking open her door Bushy bravely faced the world once again! "BE QUIET UP THERE, WILL YOU!" Her landlord didn't like that though. Whatever, it's just pigface.
The elf walked downstairs not bathing a single eye at the annoying human and simply walking outside. Bushy knew who could help her and where. Just as she was about to take the first step an ogre twice her size stopped her, "Hello, I'm trying to raise funds for the local orphanage and I'd like to ask if you could help?" After their previous mission, each had earned a share of gold coins and silver coins, Bushy could buy a house and ditch that apartment at any time but the only motive that stopped her from doing so was that she didn't know any good place plus she wasn't in the mood for searching the past few days. Bushy reached for her pocket and gave the orc five bronze, "Thank you."
Without further ado, Bushy walked towards the adventurer guild while appreciating the maddening occurrences around her, she was beginning to that a liking to this odd sort of chaos.
On the adventurer guild, Bushy went inside, parties were moving in and out as always, and some young aspirants shared their experiences of trying to get into a party. Nonetheless, Bushy moved on with head high through each facility, although her gaze did linger on the trainer section, alas, her magical affinity was too rare for her to learn from a mage... But to learn from a combat teacher would be another story. Moving on Bushy stopped under a sign that had the drawing of a beer. The elf pushed the doors and went inside and sure enough right at the corner a Dwarf covered in metal laid on the table with tens of mugs and a helmet at his side, softly snoring.
Bushy walked forward and sat against Dwelm, shaking him awake, the dwarf quickly jolted up making the many mugs fall on the ground. "Oowhoa- Oh. Hello." He held his head for a second before shaking the alcohol out of his brain.
"I... C-could you help me with something?" Bushy said. Dwelm made a circular motion with his hand. "It's that... I have a problem when it comes to... Killing." Dwelm pondered for a second before smiling.
"Come with me, we're going hunting!" Dwelm jumped up from his chair and promptly rushed outside.
"W-wait!" Bushy ran after him.

The chance of wild monster attacks on the outskirts close to town was large, that's why adventurers are daily dispatched here for cleaning. The intricacy of monsters is that they don't attack wildlife only life that has been blessed by the deities, so hunting has never been handicapped by monsters - although hunters have to follow paths that adventurers have already cleared for the day.
Bushy and Dwelm were on one of these paths, how do they know? There usually is a metal box stapled in a nearby tree with paper inside saying when the place was last cleaned. The critters happily moved from tree to tree under the warm sun, the elf followed the dwarf through a small river, the latter holding his crossbow and carefully looking through the river until an opportunity struck, the dwarf fired into the river and then retrieved a fish.
Dwelm then reached for a knife and gave it to Bushy, "I want you to gut the fish."
"I- uh, wha- Me?" Bushy looked at the knife and then at the fish already dead in Dwelms hand, she gulped and moved the knife closer touching the scales of the fish. That was all the progress she could make as her body froze. It was already dead, she just needed to push the knife a bit deeper. Her hands began shaking and she closed her eyes.
Just one movement- "Stop." Dwelm said, Bushy immediately pulled the knife back and sighed in relief, cleaning the moisture on the corner of her eyes she didn't know that were there. "Lass, I have to ask this: Do you really want to be an adventurer?" The dwarf sat down on a rock with a relaxing moan, "Aahh, not everyone is cut for this gig, so are you sure you want to do this?"
"I..." Bushy looked down at the knife and then at the fish, "I need to. To become a great mage I can't fear these things but..."
"One step at a time, if you're sure then you know what to do. And we aren't killing this fish just for the sake of killing," Dwelm smiled, "I'm actually a great cook you know?"
Bushy offered a giggle before looking at the fish, "Right." It's only her dreams that are weighing her down. Bushy took a deep breath. "Right..." And stabbed the fish, slowly sliding the knife through its meat.
