Chapter 22 - Chapter 22:- Servants..

Li Feng finished his breakfast, surprised to see Wei by his side instead of the usual presence of Chen. "Where's Chen?" Li Feng asked, a flicker of curiosity crossing his face. Chen was like an older brother to him, and their routine rarely wavered.

"Mister Chen has some urgent matters to attend to," Wei replied, his voice respectful. "Therefore, I was assigned to assist you today."

Li Feng nodded, accepting the explanation. Chen's responsibilities had grown as Li Feng's life became more complex. Still, a part of him missed Chen's familiar presence.

However, Wei's youthful energy and eagerness to please were refreshing. Taking a chance, Li Feng decided to address a topic that had been lingering on his mind since yesterday's bath.

"Wei," Li Feng began cautiously, "both you and others... do you ever feel, well, uncomfortable with the things you do for me? Like undressing me and helping with my bath?"

Wei tilted his head slightly, a hint of surprise in his eyes. "Not at all, Master Li Feng," he replied calmly. "We undergo extensive training to anticipate your needs and provide the highest standard of service. Discomfort is not a factor."

He continued, his voice unwavering. "We are also trained to assist with other personal needs, such as feeding you or even…" Wei hesitated for a moment, his cheeks flushing slightly. "Attending to your more private hygiene… if you ever require it. Our primary function is to ensure your well-being and complete satisfaction, Master. Please do not hesitate to ask for anything you need."

Li Feng felt a blush creep up his own neck. He hadn't anticipated the inclusivity of Wei's response. "I... see," he stammered, momentarily flustered. "Well, thank you, Wei. That's good to know. I appreciate your dedication."

Li Feng, his mind still reeling from the earlier conversation, posed a rather unconventional question. "Wei, what if... what if one of the female servants were to become... pregnant?"

Wei, ever the composed servant, didn't flinch. "Master Li Feng, the Li family is our benefactor. Every female servant is provided with contraceptives and undergoes regular medical checkups. Even in the unlikely event of pregnancy, they would willingly terminate it without hesitation."

His tone was matter-of-fact, devoid of any emotional undertones. It was clear that such situations were not uncommon, and the servants were trained to handle them with discretion and efficiency.

The rest of the morning unfolded in a slightly awkward silence. Li Feng found himself acutely aware of Wei's presence, especially after learning the full extent of their service offerings. He wasn't sure if he would ever fully embrace the idea of being assisted with such personal tasks, but Wei's professionalism and unwavering devotion were undeniable.

A surprised smile spread across Li Feng's face as Chen returned in the evening. "Chen!" he exclaimed, a hint of relief in his voice. "Where have you been all day?"

Chen bowed slightly, a trace of apology in his eyes. "Forgive me, Master Li Feng," he said. "I took the liberty of handling your university admissions process personally. I wanted to ensure everything was in order before your studies begin."

Li Feng's heart warmed with appreciation. "That's very kind of you, Chen," he replied. "Thank you for taking care of everything."

Chen straightened his posture, a hint of pride flickering in his eyes. "Of course, Master Li. Now, if I may inform you, your classes at Imperial University are set to begin in just two weeks."

A wave of excitement washed over Li Feng. College, a new chapter brimming with possibilities, loomed on the horizon. He nodded eagerly, his mind already buzzing with anticipation.

Then, a sudden question popped into his head. "Chen," he asked, "speaking of getting around, which car did you use today to handle my admission?"

Chen hesitated for a moment, a faint blush creeping up his neck. "Well, Master Li Feng," he stammered, "I do have my own vehicle."

Intrigued, Li Feng raised an eyebrow. "You do?"

Chen cleared his throat, then blurted out, "Yes! It's a… a Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W223). The starting price is around 1.4 million yuan."

A surprised chuckle escaped Li Feng's lips. "A Mercedes-Benz S-Class, huh?" He couldn't help but think of his own Honda Civic, a stark contrast to Chen's luxurious ride. It was a typical guy thing to compare cars, even if Li Feng and Chen had a solid friendship.

Wanting to change the subject, or perhaps just curious, Li Feng asked, "Speaking of the university, is Imperial University in the capital city, Elara? Do I have to commute daily from here?"

Chen shook his head reassuringly. "No worries, Master Li Feng. Master Ming has already secured a residence for you in Elara. You'll be living there from now on."

Li Feng's surprise was quickly overshadowed by a pang of sadness. Though he hadn't expected it, a sense of comfort had settled in with the familiar faces of the household staff. The thought of leaving them behind left a void.

Chen, perceptive as always, noticed his young master's change in demeanor. "Don't worry, Master," he said gently. "When you move to Elara, all the servants from this house will be coming with you. Master Ming made sure everyone trained to cater to your needs will be at your new residence. They wouldn't leave you behind."

Li Feng's face brightened considerably at this news. He couldn't help but blush slightly as he saw Chen chuckle at his sudden shift in mood. "Really?" he asked, a wide grin spreading across his face.

"Of course," Chen confirmed, his smile warm. "We wouldn't want you to be lonely in a new city, would we?"

Li Feng shook his head, relief washing over him. It wouldn't be a complete break from his current life after all. The familiar faces and dedicated service would be a constant source of support.

"So, Master," Chen said, "we'll start preparations for your move to Elara in a week's time."

With a gentle wave of his hand, Li Feng dismissed Chen. "Go get some rest, Chen," he said. "You deserve it after a busy day. Wei and I can handle things here."

Chen hesitated, wanting to protest, but Li Feng's firm but kind demeanor left no room for argument. With a respectful bow, Chen took his leave, disappearing back into the servant quarters behind the villa.

Li Feng, with Wei by his side this time, headed towards the grand hall. A familiar itch for wealth tickled at his mind. He pulled out his phone and opened the Whale live stream app.

He noticed that donations towards causes with higher beauty ratings yielded a larger return. With a cynical smirk, Li Feng selected a handful of livestreams showcasing beautiful women with ratings between 8 and 9.

As the soothing narratives and captivating visuals played on his screen, Li Feng focused on manipulating the system. With each tap on the donate button, he entered numbers between 3.9 million and 10 million yuan.
