Chapter 9 - Chapter 9

In the ornate halls of the prestigious Royal Academy, Princess Leonor stood ready for her presentation. The academy, known for its rigorous academics and elite student body, was a far cry from the world Desi and Sam inhabited. Leonor took a deep breath, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves.

Her classmates, the "bitches" she had referred to with a hint of competitive spirit, were gathered in the grand lecture hall. The room was filled with rows of luxurious chairs and elaborate chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, casting a golden glow.

As she walked to the front of the room, she thought of the article Desi and Sam had written. It was her secret weapon, and she was confident it would make an impact.

"Good morning, everyone," Leonor began, her voice clear and poised. "Today, I'll be presenting an in-depth look at the Royal Family of Spain, with a special focus on the future of our monarchy."

She projected the article onto the screen behind her and began her presentation. As she spoke, the room grew silent, captivated by her eloquence and the richness of the content. When she reached the section about herself, she noticed a few raised eyebrows and whispers among the students. The poetic touch in the article added a layer of charm and sophistication that was hard to miss.

Leonor finished her presentation to a round of enthusiastic applause. Her classmates, even the most critical ones, seemed impressed.

"That was outstanding, Leonor," one of her peers admitted reluctantly. "Where did you get such detailed information?"

Leonor smiled, thinking of Desi and Sam. "Just a bit of research and some help from talented writers," she said cryptically.

After the presentation, Leonor returned to the palace, feeling victorious. As she settled into her room, she couldn't help but think about the writers who had helped her succeed. She logged onto her computer and sent a message to Desi and Sam, thanking them again for their excellent work.

Back in their small room, Desi and Sam were brainstorming ideas for their next freelance gig when a new message notification popped up.

"Hey, Desi, look!" Sam exclaimed, pointing at the screen.

Desi opened the message and read aloud:

"Dear Desi and Sam,

Thank you once again for your wonderful article. It made a significant impact in my presentation, and I couldn't be more grateful. Your work was exceptional, and I hope to collaborate with you again in the future.

Best regards, Leonor"

Desi felt his heart skip a beat. "Leonor? Could it be...?" he wondered aloud.

Sam laughed. "Dude, it's probably just a coincidence. There are lots of Leonors in Spain."

"Yeah, you're probably right," Desi said, though he couldn't shake the feeling that there was something special about this client.

Meanwhile, in the palace, Leonor was reflecting on her day. Maria, the maid, entered with a tray of tea and biscuits.

"How was your presentation, Your Highness?" Maria asked, setting the tray down.

"It went perfectly, Maria. Thanks to some help from a couple of talented writers."

Maria smiled. "I'm glad to hear that, Princess. Now, you must be hungry. Shall I bring dinner up to your room?"

Leonor shook her head. "No, I'll come down to the dining hall tonight. I feel like celebrating."

As Leonor made her way to the dining hall, she couldn't help but think about the poetic words that had captured her attention. She wondered about the person behind them, feeling a strange connection to the writer. Little did she know, Desi was having similar thoughts, wondering if the Leonor he had written about was more than just a name in an article.
