However, some kids surrounded him, and among them was the same child who had come to call Helek last night at Ken's request.

Were you scared? Is that why you didn't fight back? You should have hit those kids too, Keroli says, his frustration evident.

It's clear he doesn't like the idea of Ryver returning after being beaten up.

"I didn't hit them because if I had, they would have died, Ryver replies in a calm and steady tone, his eyes reflecting an unshakable resolve.

"Oh, so you're saying they'd die just because you hit them? What, do you think you're Hulk or something now? Don't start acting like some powerful person in front of us."

Keroli retorts, but his voice softens slightly as his irritation gives way to concern.
