Chapter 10 - CHAPTER 10

Keroli and Helek were standing in the school corridor, watching the rain.

They couldn't see anything outside, but they could hear the sound of the rain, which was very soothing.

While watching, Helek turned his head to Keroli.

"Keroli, who is that?" As soon as Keroli heard him, he turned around. A small figure was standing a little distance away from them.

The classroom lights were on behind them, but the person was standing in front of a dark classroom, so his face was not visible.

"Who is there?"

Keroli asked, but his mind was telling him only two things: either the person in front of them was a skinwalker, or he was a human in disguise.

"Sorry for before, Keroli."

As soon as Keroli heard that voice, he knew who it was.

"Liam, were you the one following me all these days?"

When Keroli asked this, Liam stepped in front of them.

His body was injured, and he had shrunk as if he hadn't eaten anything for many days. Although Keroli had this thought in his mind,

"What did you think? That I would help you now, after you left me near the door of death before?"

His tongue was speaking the truth. Because the day Liam ran away from there alone with his car, if Helek hadn't been there, Keroli would have died.

"Keroli, please, for the sake of our friendship..."

Keroli was getting angrier after hearing Liam's words, but then Liam fell at Keroli's feet and started begging him.

"Please, Keroli, let me stay here. You're living well here."

Liam was saying they were living well here; he had no idea that after going through so many difficulties, Helek and Keroli had finally earned this place

Keroli was furious seeing Liam in front of him.

"Go back to wherever you came from!"

Keroli shouted angrily, his voice echoing through the entire corridor.

Just then, Helek placed a hand on his shoulder to calm him down.

"Keroli, maybe your friend got scared at that time, which is why he left you," Helek said in calm tone.

No sooner had the words left his mouth than Liam stood up and walked over to helek.

"Yes, you're absolutely right. I was scared at that time. My mind had stopped working.

therwise, Keroli, you know very well that I would never abandon you in times of trouble" Liam said.

Liam's words were like adding fuel to the fire because Keroli's anger kept escalating.

However, since Helek was there to keep him calm, Keroli didn't hit Liam.

After a long argument, Helek finally managed to convince Keroli to let Liam stay with them.

Keroli allowed Liam to stay there, but after a while:

"Helek, I have chocolates here. Take them and eat," Liam said.

Liam no longer talked to Keroli; instead, he only interacted with Helek and followed him everywhere.

Seeing this annoyed Keroli a lot, but he didn't say anything because if Helek wasn't objecting, why should he?

The rain became heavier and more intense after some time. However, when lightning struck,

Keroli got scared because he was sitting alone in the cafeteria while Helek had gone out. Since they now had an additional member, they needed more food.

That's why Helek had gone out in search of supplies, taking Liam with him.

But Keroli was also worried about Helek, wondering how he would manage to find food in such heavy rain.

Keroli sighed in exhaustion.

"Was it the right decision to let Liam stay here?" he muttered to himself.

Being alone in the entire school reminded Keroli of the dream where he had seen a skinwalker in the school.

Just then, he heard the same voice from the dream coming from the floor above.

His heart raced at the sound, and he stood up abruptly, staring at the cafeteria door.

Only the cafeteria lights were on, and everything outside was engulfed in darkness.

Footsteps could be heard approaching the cafeteria. Panicking, Keroli quickly hid in the kitchen and covered his mouth with his hands to ensure no sound escaped. As he sat there, he suddenly heard:

"Keroli, where are you? Come out; I need to talk to you," Helek's voice called out.

Keroli thought Helek had returned, so he peeked out from behind the kitchen counter. But the sight in the dining area left his eyes wide open in shock.

What he thought was Helek was actually the skinwalker, mimicking Helek's voice to lure Keroli out.

Just as Keroli was about to step out upon hearing the voice, he spotted the creature and quickly hid again in a small space next to the fridge, covering himself with a cloth.

For 10 minutes, Keroli stayed hidden, holding his breath. The voices stopped, and silence filled the air, making it seem like no one else was there.

Believing that the skinwalker had left, Keroli cautiously removed the cloth.

But as soon as he uncovered himself, he saw the skinwalker sitting right in front of him.

"So, this is where you were hiding, Keroli,"

the skinwalker said, its words sending chills down his spine.
