After some time, they came out of the forest, but Helek did not speak a word to Koreli. He was driving the car calmly since the time Koreli shouted at him. Keroli also did not say anything because it was his mistake. He should not have shouted at him. What was his fault then?
In fact, if Helek was not there at that time, Keroli would have probably died there. While looking around the window, Keroli starts to bite his nails and thinks, 'What is going on now is the apocalypse.' I don't know if I will be able to survive or not, but if I survive this apocalypse, then I will tell the future generation how brave I was. But before that, the question to think about is, Where are we going?'
Keroli looked at Helek; his full attention was on driving. After a while, Keroli saw that they had come to the city, but there was no one there. There had been car accidents. There was smoke everywhere, coming out of the cars. The roads were deserted as if no one had ever driven on those roads.
It seemed very peaceful, as if no one was alive there. There was only their car on the entire road that was moving on that deserted road. They were afraid that some skinwalker or whatever that alien might come after hearing the sound of their car.
Then, breaking the silence, Helek said, "I don't know where to go now." Helek's face was pale, and he was driving slowly, more than usual. Keroli turned his face to Helek and said, "I also don't know where to go, so let's keep moving." Keroli had not seen anyone outside for a long time, and all the windows of the car were closed, due to which he was feeling suffocated, and then suddenly he remembered Liam.
He thought Liam would be alright wherever he was, even if he left him, but he was his friend. Keroli knew Liam was a coward; that's why he is not angry at him. Then suddenly Helek applied brakes to the car, and Keroli fell straight ahead. It was good that he had covered his head with both hands, so his head did not get hurt. Keroli sits up straight and hurriedly turns his face toward Helek while glaring and says, "Why the hell did you apply break suddenly without even giving me any warning beforehand?" Then he points his finger in front, and when Keroli looked ahead, the road was closed; the road ahead was full of vehicles, so now they cannot go ahead.
"So what to do now?" Said keroli Helek started looking at Keroli. In hope that Keroli would say what to do now seeing Helek's face, Keroli also understood that, and he rolled down the window and looked around to see if they were aliens or not outside. It was good that no one was there. Helek parked the car on the side of the road, and they both decided that they would check outside to see if there was any safe place there or any other human being like them who was wandering to survive.
But as soon as Keroli stepped out of the car, his heart started pounding loudly. His eyes were searching everywhere because he was scared that aliens could come from anywhere and attack them at any time.
But then Keroli felt something warm on his palm, and it was Helek's hand. Seeing Keroli scared, Helek held his hand to calm him down. "I am sorry, Helek; I shouldn't have shouted at you." While looking down on guilt, Keroli finally apologized.
On hearing his apology, Helek smiled, even though Helek seems larger than Keroli, but he behaves like a child and depends on Keroli, so Keroli stood on his toes and stroked Helek's head. As soon as he did that, Helek said, "That was nice. Can you stroke my hair more?" Seeing that, Keroli chuckled and thought, 'Cute, this word came to my mind for Helek.' Then, seeing the view around, Keroli said to himself, 'This is not the time to do all this; we have to move ahead.' Then they both started moving ahead, but after a while Keroli was getting startled by everything, so he hugged Helek's arms tightly.
