After a moment, he shifts his gaze toward Helek, who is sitting quietly. Without saying a word, Keroli reaches out and takes Helek's hand in his own.

The simple act fills Keroli with an inexplicable sense of peace, as if holding Helek's hand could ground him in a world that felt increasingly chaotic.

A fleeting thought crosses his mind—he could hold this hand forever and never let go.

Letting out a soft sigh, Keroli closes his eyes, his exhaustion finally catching up with him.

He's on the verge of drifting into a light nap when a sudden knock on their door startles him awake.

Keroli's eyes snap open, his momentary peace broken.

He immediately looks toward the door, his heart skipping a beat as he wonders who could be at the door.

Keroli gets up on his own, walking slowly to the door.

He opens it slightly, peeking outside to see who might be there.
