"Ahem." I coughed, shifting in my seat for the umpteenth time.
Orion was content to keep staring at me though, his gaze unmoving. He leaned forward, both his hands crossed on the table, and had spoken nothing since I sat minutes ago. He just stared, his eyes trying to bore into my soul.
"Is this supposed to lead somewhere?" I finally probed, my patience wearing thin.
"You seemed more docile, reserved." He commented, leaning back in his chair. "It's good to see that your snappy replies are still present." His lips lifted at the tips.
Orion was a different one; I ached to know how he solely was the leader of the council; he was the youngest amongst them, so why him?
"Did you become the leader of the council through succession, your father before you?" I asked boldly.
"No," I did not like the indulgent smile that stayed in place on his face. Like I was a kid he was willing to converse with.
"Why you then?"
