Chapter 1 - chapter 0:FATEFUL ENCOUNTER

Year 2015 JULY 28

SOMEWHERE...

"Huh! Huh!"

"What are you up to? What have you done?" a random boy shouted, his voice trembling with fear.

Before him stood a faceless man, blood splattered across his cloak, gripping a sword with steady hands.

"I'm not going to let you kill me!" the boy yelled,

He rushed toward the man, scooping up a handful of pebbles and throwing them in his direction.

"Good grief,"

the faceless man muttered, shaking his head. He was stunned by the boy's tenacity, charging forward without any dread in his heart.

"Run, boy! Run!"

an old man cried from the distance, his voice cracking with desperation.

"Run? Me? Die?"

the boy retorted, his tone filled with defiance.

"If you speak of death, then I'm already gone. As for running,I have already fled so far"

The faceless man's eyes widened, a twisted smile forming on his lips.

"Amusing," he said, almost admiring the boy's resilience. Then, with swift precision, he struck.

"Ahh! Ugh!"

The boy cried out , blood spilling from his lips. His body shook as he struggled to breathe.

"Ugh... Ugh..." His vision blurred, but he stood firm.

"Consider this a gift," the faceless man sneered. "I'm letting you live, little one."

He dashed forward again, but the boy's eyes remained locked on him, unwavering.
