*knock knock*
A knock was heard on the door followed by a sigh of frustration from the Nanny. She had been knocking for a while now but still the arrogant Belvin had not responded. After a good minutes of patiently standing, waiting, he finally opened the door looking at her with unreadable eyes.
" Good morning young master," the nanny greeted respectfully.
" Morning," he responded plainly.
" By the way, the breakfast is ready," the Nanny exclaimed.
" Mmm.. coming," he nodded slightly and re- entered his room, shutting the door and leaving the Nanny there.
Well, the Nanny could have taken things very personal if she didn't know him well but on the contrary, she understood the young man Infront of her very well, he was not obnoxious at all to those he was close with.
" He was not like this before but everything changed after that accident," she thought and shuddered just by the thought of the past.
It never took long for Belvin to get out of his room, ready for work and looking as charming as usual. He reached the dining table and everything had been set. The nanny had already sat, waiting for him.
" So, what did you cook today?" he asked, sitting closer to the nanny, who smiled by the question.
" Your favourite food young master," she replied with a gentle smile.
" Mmmmh", he smiled slightly and regained seriousness immediately and then waited to be served and ate quietly. He always enjoyed silence and never found it awkward at all. Unlike Nanny Ellena who was feeling irritated by the silence.
" How was your night though?" she asked breaking the silence.
" Mmmmh good", he nodded and then refocused on his meal.
" Business stress huh?", she asked with a slight smile.
" Just something needed in the company, nothing much though", he replied calmly.
" Oh okay!", she said in a low tone. As they were eating, something came up in her mind and she thought it needed asking.
" Do you ever think of having someone?", she said with a wider smile.
Belvin left the food he was devouring and looked at his Nanny anticipatingly.
" Ameliorate your question please", he requested calmly, making Nanny giggle.
" You know what Iean Belvin!" she smiled.
" No, not again." he sighed in frustration. " I've told you am not interested in in girls!" he added.
" Of course, not yet...and I know it will reach a time and...."
" I know, I know!" Belvin interrupted.
" I will get one when the right time comes but for now, the company is my main priority!"
" Very well then young master!" exclaimed the Nanny with a smile. She looked at the young man with a continuous smile. She was proud of him and deeply loved him as though he was her own, regardless of his character. She had been with him ever since he was born and therefore she knew him better than anybody else.
" Huh," Belvin sighed suddenly.
" Is there a problem, young master?" the Nanny asked. It looked like the young master was done with his meal.
" I probably should head off now. It's going to be a long day. Thanks for the meal Ellena, it was great." he exclaimed with a big smile.
" It's fine. Just take care of yourself out there!"
" I will." Belvin replied, picking up his coat and heading out and off to the company.
" He hasn't changed that much has he?...hmm hmm." the Nanny spoke to herself with a giggle as she cleared the table.
