The trees were moved by the calm wind in the still, quiet forest. Mokuri, cautious, stayed observant of his surroundings, but something felt off.
"Surviving and regrouping my ideas I think would be the first step to completing my first night, but this forest is totally scary when you don't know what to expect," he said with a worried look.
Suddenly, as he kept his guard up and went deeper into the forest, he noticed a large, monstrous footprint on the ground,it seemed fresh. Before he could interpret the scenario, a massive, fat orc beast appeared behind him, looking down at him with its hungry red eyes and breathing heavily.
"Are you serious!?.....Wait, where is it looking?" He followed its gaze, and it was actually looking at his butt.
"Eeeeeekkk!!!!" Mokuri ran as fast as he could while dodging rocky and wooden obstacles.
"Nooooo!!!!...."he said as he began to sprint.
"..... Judging from its reaction earlier, my guess is that the big guy is in heat!."he thought loudly.
Mokuri ran and ran until the sun went down but managed to lose it along the way.
He stopped for a moment, stood leaning against a long tree for support while he catches his breath. "I managed to protect my butt today; however, the real problem is what other monsters are here, as they want to kill or eat me as prey."
"Alright let's begin my building"
Sooner or later, he began to grab branches, large leaves, and vines to create a temporary shelter on the secondary structure of the tree. "Okay, next is..." He was interrupted by his stomach growling. He looked around and spotted a peculiar beast in the distance from the corner of her eye.
"I'm really in need of steak right now, but that thing looks dangerous," he said, slowly drifting to sleep. "Anyway, I got a lot tired running all day; I will hunt that thing tomorrow...and think of a plan moving forward" He closed his eyes and fell asleep.
The only thing that night that made him fight was the insects bugging him. In the morning, Mokuri was up and ready, creeping behind the beast to get an opening with his plan.
"Wow it looks bigger up close"
The beast in general was like a rhino merged with an otter, with a massive build, large tail, big claws, and seemed to be a herbivore—the best target—but still looks dangerous, he had to keep his guard.
Mokuri grinned as he rethought his plan. He threw a rock at its face to intimidate it, then ran in the opposite direction. The beast noticed this, and with a loud, annoyed roar, it gave chase.mokuri notices "Wow, my body feels much lighter than when I got chased by that orc-like monster," said Mokuri, until he caught sight of the cliff he was about to make it fall down into.
"Now! Is my chance!" he thought loudly, but as he tried to leap out of the way at the exact moment for the plan to complete, it turned on him. The beast's instinct kicked in, and it anchored itself to the ground, sliding like brakes on a car.
However, the beast's movements were so random that its tail hit Mokuri hard in the gut and flung him off the cliff. "Eh... what..." he fell further down into the forest.
He kept falling until he momentarily hit branches, breaking them as he descended onto the roof of a small, old wooden shed. "Ow, ow, ow... that really hurt. I guess I went a little overboard with the plan," he said, holding his head in a stroking motion. He then paused to see a random collection of books surrounding him.
"Huh... where am I?" a random book next to him caught his eye. He grabbed it, it read "Magic Autonomy." He looked confused but shrugged off the idea.
"How am I able to read this? Is it because I'm in this world's system or something? Anyway, what's in the book."
As soon as Mokuri opened the book, he noticed that there were only ten pages despite its large cover. Then, for a moment, he looked around; all the books had disintegrated into nothingness. All he had now was the book in his hands.
"I guess I'm stuck with you then"

However, as these events unfold at Mokuri, in a further northern part of the forest, a half-dwarf female with a brown cape, shorts, and a chest plate with gloves, who has long pointy ears and is short, attempts to face a community of trolls, standing on a brunch.
"Just focus, Miaru, and then attack," she thought to herself before she sprang out of the thick leaves of the tree and landed her fist onto one random troll's head, leaving it to fall unconscious with a devastating head injury. "Well, who is next—"
Miaru pauses for a moment, then looks back in shock as one troll throws a large boulder, making her pull back when it hits the ground hard from where she was positioned, but she was ambushed by another one, who grabs her from behind rapping its large muscular arms around her and places a collar around her neck with force. "Crap... where did they get that?"
The collar activates, and she falls to the ground knees first then face, where the only last thing she sees is the leader of the troll community approaching. "That family we abducted was right," said the troll leader in a growly, deep voice. Miaru loses consciousness. "Damn it!!"
