Sparks fly and beads of sweat fall to the ground, a swift change of posture gives birth to a strong horizontal swing, the intesity of the attack creates a small torrent of wind that lifts loose leaves off the ground
"Huht !" A figure strongly grunts, his blade slashes upward but is swiftly evaded and countered by a foward kick directed at the abdomen. Though A arm block dissipates the threat of the kick
"You are more splendid that I had previously thought" Christopher gryff says while fixing his clothe under armors arm piece before slowly etcheing left in a circular motion
"I don't accept compliments" Aurora says while slowly etching to the right in a circular motion
A standoff has been set, neither parties daring to make there next move clear, Aurora is the first to break the standoff but instead of an attack she slowly retreats to her rear slightly tilted to the left
"Are you running ?" Christopher says after responding in a slow pursuit, not daring to fall into whatever trap had been set, his eyes earth back and forth and his grip ever tight on his blade
Aurora shifts her body weight to the left before committing to a turn and dashing towards the nearest tree, using the bark as vertical footing to leap from and quickly close the gap between her and Christopher
Her blade sweeps right but is narrowly blocked by Christopher but the hasty switch from pursuit to defence weakens his stance, Aurora quickly realizes and takes advantage by pushing herself into him, initiating a takedown
"Bit provocative, dont you think" Christopher says while grabbing onto auroras right thighs which is pressed against his side
"Shut up" aurora says under her breath before slamming her palm onto his throat
A large pillar is erected from Christooher as he is about to fall unconscious, Aurora quickly pushes herself off in surprise
"Im partnered with a mage, it would be stupid to not have a rune for such cases" Christopher says while slightly rubbing his throat and showing a ruin in his left palm
"You got some nice thighs too" he follows in a much more childish tone
"It was curious as to why you opted to caress my thigh instead of trying to escape, I suppose you aren't stupid after all" aurora says before ripping out a burnt patch of hair
"That could damage your scalp" Christopher says while slowly advancing towards Aurora
"And why do you care" Aurora says, assuming a defensive stance however the ground beneath her is ripped from the ground
"It seems they've gotten serious" Christiphor says a few feet away on another suspended chunk of rock
"It'll be hard to fight with such limited footing" aurora says while looking up at Lelovia and kessia floating above them
"Your magic is subpar, I was expecting more from the apprentice of miseria" kessia says tauntingly
"Singe and burn, erupt in response to my call, inferior god of flame, TARTHARUS !" Lelovia chants as a large airborne creature of flame rushes towards Kessia
"High class wind magic, torrent barrier" kessia chants before a the creature is blown away by a strong torrent
"Not the time to be looking away from your opponent" Aurora says while leaping towards the unfocused Christopher
Aurora brings her blade down with a blazing might, the attack rips the leather armor of christiphor and the platform below
"My bad" Christiphor says before grabbing at Aurora mid free fall
"Ugh" aurora grunts after Christiphor locks her into a chokehold
"What are you planning, if you don't let go well both die !" Aurora screams in horror
"Oh no another one of my ruins will catch me and by extension you, which only leaves the fact that your in a chokehold, which you can't escape" Christiphor says before tightening his grip
"No" a large figure in iron clad armor says before grabbing Christopher and prying him off of Aurora
"Wrrr~" the wind whistles through the knights armor as it is in free fall, it swiftly grabs Aurora and prepares for landing
"Is that so, perhaps I wasn't the only one with a rune" Christiphor says while floating in the sky, surrounded by a strange aura
Christopher slowly lands whilst staring intently at Aurora
"You should know that I haven't really been trying, it would harm me to cut such a pretty face" Christopher says smiling
"Sounds like excuses" Aurora says taunting
"Gonna have to take care of your little friend first" Christopher says, readying his blade for combat
Christopher's eyes dart between the summon and Aurora rapidly as he dashes at the summon
As he rushes toward the summon it collides with him with great force
"You're a tough one, but you're nothing but a summon" Christopher says after an exchange of furious attacks with the summon, eventually being able to chip the helmet of the summon
"Your fast but not fast enough !" Christopher exclaims before attempting to behead the summon whom responds by countering and slamming its sword into Christiphors chest
"That damn thing broke my ribs, Ah, guess I lost to a summon" Christopher says smiling as he struggles to stand, before falling to the ground
"Alright, I've decided that we will be rotating partners everytime we go out of the safe zone" says Aurora
"Why is that, wont we just get in the other persons way when hunting or in combat ?" Asks Mathew
"A calculated risk, if we're able to adapt to each and every member of this group our effectiveness would increase as a collective" says Aurora
"Yeah she's right, we need to have a connection with each other in combat" says Benjamin
"Alright then, but what will be the first groups" Lelovia asks
"Ok so you and me, Mathew and Benjamin , Lara and Heliop and Derrick and Luke, not set for any particular order" says Aurora
"Then we should start as soon as possible, so tonight" says Derrick
"Yes" says Aurora
"I refuse" Luke says boldly
"Why not" Benjamin says confused
"I will not leave lady Lara's side not matter what" says Luke
"Dont worry Luke i'll be okay with Heliop, I doubt I'll get hurt" Lara says as she puts her hand on heliop chests suggestively
"Please dont put your hands on me, i'm not easily suduced" Heliop says as he removes her hand
"Whatever" says Lara
"Are you sure my lady, this go's against my pledge and your mothers wishes" says Luke
"Yes i'm very sure Luke dont worry" Lara says as she smiles
"I guess the true duo is back isnt it Benjamin" says Mathew grinning
"Yeah I guess" Benjamin says unsuprised
Miseria appears slowly floating from the sky
"You've met the conditions for elimination, Aurora, do you wish to eliminate Christiphor gryff" Miseria says awaiting an answer
"Sure, yeah" says Aurora
"Alright, you will be assigned a sum of combat points, your group mate Lelovia has also gained a sum of team points" Miseria says before warping away with Christopher
"Three still more to eliminate but for now it's still something" Aurora thinks
"I'd better hurry and help Lelovia" Aurora says before running off in her direction, the summon slowly fades and returns to lelovias palm
"Huh, I dont sense Christopher's mana anymore, he left the area rapidly, does that mean..." Kessia thinks as she slowly becomes furious
"Damn you two already took out Christopher" Kessia says in a joking facade
"I guess i'd better avenge him by eliminating you Lelovia" Kessia says smirking
"Come at me then" Lelovia says as she begins to charge up mana
