Roses and Blood

The small town of HeathCroft was well-known for its family of mysterious billionaires, the Zuris. Lauriel and James Zuri, the parents, were well-liked philanthropists who would visit an orphanage every few years and adopt a child to welcome into their family. All the children previously adopted by the Zuri's had something special about them-some talent or potential that made them deserving of a new home. The people of HeathCroft believed that the Zuris were doing a noble act by giving these children a chance to exercise their potential and let them be. However, when the newest arrival, Adrianne Zuri, joined the family, it raised a couple eyebrows. Adrianne Zuri went against all the invisible requirements the townspeople believed you needed to complete to become a Zuri. She was illiterate, didn't seem to have any creativity in her blood, and was overall as ordinary as one could be in a family of extraordinary individuals.
