High above the sky, Dong Zhen's face was pale with fear. "The strength of the Nordic Team leader has likely reached S-class. To completely withstand the blast of three nuclear missiles—that level of power—our current team would stand no chance against him. If we were to fight, he alone could annihilate us. It's best we abandon this mission."
Bei Chen nodded toward the captain. "Sister Dong Zhen is right. Abandoning the mission and forfeiting the 3,000 reward points isn't a big issue. Here, if we engage in a forced battle, we not only lack external support but also face Voldemort and his Death Eaters. There's no need to fight a losing battle in a situation where neither the time nor the place is in our favor."
Yang Fan also nodded. "Then we'll abandon it. If the protagonist dies here, it will provoke conflict between Dumbledore and the Nordic Team, achieving our goal of leveraging the situation. That's what we want to see."
With the captain's decision made, the rest of the team had no objections, and they began preparing to retreat.
At Riddle's graveyard, the aftermath of the explosion gradually faded. The sky was tinged with an eerie deep blue hue, and the air was filled with a strange, pungent smell. Harry's mind replayed the earlier, blinding light and sea of destruction. The sheer terror of the blast was overwhelming. Without the star map that had appeared midair, it was uncertain whether Voldemort would have survived such an indiscriminate attack—and Harry was sure he wouldn't have. Weren't these Eastern sorcerers here to save him? How could they act so recklessly, disregarding his life? Anger began to creep onto Harry's face.
Voldemort's lips curled into a cold smile, his crimson eyes growing frosty. "Interesting little bugs. That was quite a gift. Now that they've given their gift and are so eager to leave, shouldn't I, as the host, express my gratitude?"
The blindfolded youth beside Voldemort chuckled softly. "No need for you to act, my lord. These insignificant pests—I shall personally see them off."
As he spoke, his golden hair fluttered despite the lack of wind, and his golden armor radiated blinding light. Behind him, a massive constellation-like galaxy cloud began to take shape.
A roaring sound echoed.
Suddenly, the heavens were pierced by a blinding white light, far more intense than the nuclear explosions from before—a light from a supernova. The brightness seared everyone's eyes, rendering them momentarily blind. Initially, there was silence, followed by an earth-shaking roar that shattered the stillness. It began as a faint rumble from afar but soon erupted into deafening thunder that seemed to tear through the heavens.
The sky became a dazzling spectacle, as if a supernova had truly exploded.
Celestial Obliteration—a technique that conjures a miniature galaxy and unleashes a cosmic explosion. It is the ultimate destructive skill of a Virgo Saint in long-range combat.
The release of this unmatched power was akin to igniting countless nuclear warheads at once. The sheer force obliterated all matter, releasing overwhelming light and heat that coalesced into unimaginable destructive rays.
From the horizon, it seemed as though a second sun had risen. The unstoppable force shot skyward, forming a massive beam of light that tore through the heavens, leaving a void that exposed distant starlight beyond the atmosphere.
Yang Fan and his team suddenly felt an immense danger approaching. Before they could react, a colossal beam of light hurtled toward them at a speed surpassing light itself. In the next moment, everything was on the brink of annihilation.
Time seemed to freeze.
High above the skies, in the ninth heaven, a massive, radiant Purple Tower in the Clouds appeared. Its arrival fractured the surrounding space, and the enormous beam of light collided with the tower. The devastating energy, capable of obliterating all matter, was contained within a faint, white barrier that stretched for dozens of miles.
Within the barrier, Yang Fan's team, though shaken, remained unharmed.
Before they could catch their breath, a pale silver eye opened at the top of the still tower. Its cold, indifferent gaze fell upon the five in the sky. The silvery pupil seemed like the judgmental eye of a divine arbiter.
In the next instant, a brilliant blue beam shot out from the eye, disintegrating the clouds and creating a vacuum in the air. Oxygen, nitrogen, and countless other particles dissolved into dark matter. The beam engulfed Yang Fan's team, erasing them entirely in a radiant flash of blue.
A cold voice echoed in the ears of the Nordic Team: "Central Continent Team annihilated. Two days until the plot concludes. Returning to the Main God Space."
The Nordic Team leader remained motionless. His once-closed eyes now reflected the sky above—a broken layer of space close to outer space.
At the same time, Voldemort's smile abruptly faded. His crimson eyes gazed beyond the atmosphere into the darkened heavens.
The clouds shifted, revealing a brilliant purple hue as a towering Cloud Tower descended from the sky. Its crystalline structure shimmered with a metallic sheen. Under the stunned gazes of everyone, the majestic and magnificent tower landed at the center of Riddle's graveyard.
"Captain, such a wizard tower is at least the work of a legendary-level mage. In this low-magic plane, besides Dumbledore and Voldemort, who could possibly achieve this level?" Balder, familiar with mage towers from high-magic planes, voiced his astonishment.
The Nordic Team leader's expression turned pale as a sense of danger enveloped him. Atop the tower, the pale silver eye reappeared, its icy gaze fixed on him.
A sharp sound rang out as the air sizzled. A golden light flickered around the Virgo Saint's armor, but under the gaze of the silver eye, cracks began to form. Before Balder and Freya's disbelieving eyes, the supposedly indestructible, S-class-rated golden armor shattered into fragments.
The Purple Tower in the Clouds stood silently in the center of the graveyard, its crystalline spire reflecting the stars above in a brilliant display of light.
