Everything was doused in red, the smell of blood stung my nostrils as I stared into the sunrise. It had been 60 years since the war of humans and the blue bloods began. Blue bloods or also down as B.P., is a person who had survived an unknown disease, many people died from this disease, but the ones who survived gained unique powers. The government didn't like people suddenly getting stronger, so they used the excuse of 'needing to wipe out the disease' to kill off as many B.P. as possible, this is what started this horrible war.
"Almost done, I'm so close to being able to go home." I said while stumbling over unidentified bodies.
Suddenly, something grabbed my foot, pulling me down.
'The hell?' I looked down to see what caught my foot.
A chill ran down my spine when I saw a corpse holding my foot, the corpse's eyes had a faint blue glow to them.
"Shit! There must be an B.P. user around here!" As I struggled to escape the grip of the corpse, someone was slowly approaching me. It was already to late by the time I noticed the approaching figure, now standing over me. A sudden sharp pain shot through my neck, my vision began to fade as I bled out from the new wound on my neck. In my last moments of consciousness I saw the figure standing over me. He was tall and had wavy blond hair, his eys were a dark green, he was wearing a blood stained battle suit. He was smiling.
'He has a charming smile... What the hell am I thinking!?'
"See you soon." The man said, still wearing that stupid smile on his face.
I couldn't fight it anymore, I lost consciousness, a cold but calming feeling washed over me. ' I'm so tired, I'm ok with going like this.'
...
My consciousness was abruptly pulled back from the darkness as a blinding florescent light shined in my eyes.
'The hell? Wasn't I supposed to be dead!?' I thought while I tried to sit up, only to find out that my body had been restrained to a metal operation table. I looked around at the room I was in, it was relatively blanke room, there was no furniture and both the ceiling and walls were white with nothing decorating them.
'It looks like a classic asylum room you would see in a movie.' I thought while observing my surroundings. After a few minutes of thinking and waiting to see if anything was going to happen, I tried to call for help but to my horror, no sound came out of my mouth. Suddenly I heard a door creek open, someone was walking towards me.
